It’s just.... The fact that Patrick is not immune to being annoyed by David’s flaws but still loves him so much not despite them but because of them... This couple means so much to me

For example, for the last 27 years my husband has known for a fact that I am color-blind, yet still asks me questions like, "What would you prefer for the bathroom? The Aqua or the Teal?" And it makes me just want to kiss him.
I love the way David squirms so much when Patrick starts singing to him and then slowly gives in to it. Being truly adored is so foreign to him, but he is loving it.

i just love how in the olive branch scene at 7:20 both david and patrick are smiling slightly as they argue, it feels so realistic and shows how much they care for each other
When I watched the first season I thought it was the stupidest show....and after a few months it wouldn't leave my "continue watching" on Netflix so I gave it a second go. I'm so glad I did. All the characters grew so much, that I laugh and cry in the same 20 minutes.
Same. I had seen some of these clips, so I decided to watch the whole series. Tbh, the first two seasons didn't thrill me..but the minute David met Patrick...it was on.
The way David lightly plucks at Patrick’s shirt when he says, “Oh, FUCK…” after realizing he forgot Patrick’s tea is for some reason utterly hilarious 😂
I felt like it kinda ruined the scene, it's funny but I wished they stayed silent and stared into each other's eyes for a bit longer 🥹 also why spend so much money on tea from a Cafe, get a kettle and some nice tea bags and brew it yourself 😅
Patrick is just one of those characters i will always love (I love everything and everyone on Schitt's Creek) For me he is the one i can most relate to. I am a 23 year old woman but just him being Patrick, just being... enough and there for everyone (and of course David) reminds me that I can just be myself and have that be enough without pressure or expectation. Schitt's Creek is just amazing in its ability to show character and depth.... there are no words for how much this show means to me ...
Healthiest portrayal of a relationship? Hello? No! Do people let go how David's so hard to please? How he'd lie to get what he want? In that series alone, Roland and Jocelyn are the ones who have the best relationship.
This show did an AMAZING job showing a person (Patrick) come to the realization that they are homosexual and in love with someone of the same sex. Very well written, directed, acted and produced.
"We can talk whenever you'd like. Just preferably not before 10 a.m. because I'm not really a morning person" Same David, same ❤❤❤❤ Best love story of all time!!
I love them so much, We never get a gay couple happy ending, they love to play out tragedies. but seeing them really made me believe i may actually deserve my happy ending and that’ll forever be my favourite thing. this show let me know i deserve a happy ending and i will forever be grateful for it
We never get a gay couple who are simply normal people, accepted by their family, friends, and community. I'm so glad the series showed you that you deserve the very same things everyone deserves. Go get 'em, gurl.
The tears in David’s eyes reminds me so much of the day I married my husband. The best day of my life! Schitt’s Creek was a fantastic series and will never be rivalled. Thank you Dan Levy and team for doing an outstanding job. ❤️
i’m extremely late to the party. i had heard several people talking about this show, then it swept the emmy awards. i knew eventually i had to finally start watching it, but for reasons unknown, i kept it on the back burner. it wasn’t until late january or early february 2021 that i finally started. i finished it on march 13th. for all the love stories i have ever seen on television, and without any recency bias, david and patrick’s rank up there as one of the best. their love just felt pure and even for a guy like me who always feels dead inside, their wedding and especially their vows had me in tears. there will never be another like these two. i’m extremely grateful for schitt’s creek and any award the show ever wins is a win for love, a win for inclusivity, and a win for humanity. it’s “simply the best”.
Catherine really makes (I don't want to say "steals") the serenade scene with her facial expressions and gestures. I read (or was told) that the scene had multiple takes because Catherine was actually crying during it, to the point where the director just let her keep the tissue in her hand. They ended up keeping it in the final edit. So wonderful.
Lost in today era of intolerance and ignorance is a simple message if you choose to see it. I am a middle aged married straight man. I loved this show. For its heart. For its character. For its humor. This relationship I never saw a gay or straight. I saw it as love. That is what makes this show so special. The way they deal with such heart wrenching topics and make the accessible and heartwarming to everyone.
The moment Patrick gave David sass in his debut episode, not only did I find my favorite character on the show, but I knew he and David were eventually going to be together forever. 💜
I will never be able to hear The Best by Tina Turner and not picture David's olive branch to Patrick. That's embedded into my brain forever LOL! I love it so much!
One scene that was left out of this montage, truly one of my favorites is in "Meet the Parents" When David is sitting with Patrick discussing coming out to his parents. It shows Patrick's vulnerability and the depth of David's love and empathy. Brilliantly done! I am crushing on their relationship so bad.
I cry every single time! It never fails to move me to tears, this series was a cultural reset and will be iconic and unique forever! A true gift and I can’t find words to thank everyone involved!
I love how Patrick accepts David and his quirks. You don't find people like that. They'll either be overwhelmed or annoyed. But alas Patrick adores David. I hope to find my Patrick in this lifetime. 🤞❤️
Favorite tv couple of all time and favorite show of all time. The amount of times I’ve watched this show and haven’t gotten tired of it says ALOT.. it still makes me laugh, cry, and feel some type of way every time I watch it. The best writers, cast, and stylist ... PERIOD
I just love the way they portrayed this relationship on TV. so healthy, loving, light hearted, ORGANIC. honestly one of the best TV shows ever (overall). I wish they would bring it back
My only regret is.... I’d never known this series until a week ago. But managed to watch all episodes during my recovery from corona virus. Now I’m stuck on it. Not ready to move on, yet. Damn. (edit) after weeks, still not ready to move on... rewatch this video over and over again.... especially my favorite scenes: the first kiss, when Patrick says “i love you” and when David says “I love you”... then I laugh out loud when Patrick says “Except in my dream I’m holding a nice cup of tea” as Patrick asked for it when David went to the Vet. 🤣
Same here. Now I can't get enough of it. I am now watching all interviews, every video about the show. But I find the Mayor of town actor missing from all videos, interviews and talks about the show. He was a special character in the show Each and every actor, the characters, the dialogues, each and every word and the exceptional expressions, unspoken words in between dialogues...par excellence!!
I literally just watch all the episodes of every season over and over my friends don’t understand how I do it and neither do I but I never get tired of it!
I remember the first time i watched the Patrick open mic scene. I was in shock. The purest thing ever. And to hear that Catherine O'Hara was crying so much during filming and they had to do it over again, i get it. Greatest show ever!
The actor who played Patric is such a great actor, i can FEEL the love he shows. The way he shows it is very subtle, almost hidden, but so so evident and clear.
I just loved it when David's Mom asked her son "Let Me Know When I Should Pull the Fire Alarm" just as Patrick about to serenade David. I just busted out laughing when she said that.

i just love how in the olive branch scene at 7:20 both david and patrick are smiling slightly as they argue, it feels so realistic and shows how much they care for each other
When I watched the first season I thought it was the stupidest show....and after a few months it wouldn't leave my "continue watching" on Netflix so I gave it a second go. I'm so glad I did. All the characters grew so much, that I laugh and cry in the same 20 minutes.
Same!!
I struggled with the first season but then I couldn’t stop watching.
Saaaaame. I am so glad I continued watching after the first season. It is bringing me so much joy!
Same. I had seen some of these clips, so I decided to watch the whole series. Tbh, the first two seasons didn't thrill me..but the minute David met Patrick...it was on.

When Stevie calls someone a good person, you know they’re good stock.
They are the reason why I started watching this show
Same here
Same lol
I saw Dan Levy on SNL at the beginning of Feb 2021, and started watching. Literally haven't stopped rewatching 2 mos later lol

No shit😂😂😅😂😂
The way David lightly plucks at Patrick’s shirt when he says, “Oh, FUCK…” after realizing he forgot Patrick’s tea is for some reason utterly hilarious 😂
You can tell Noah Reid (Patrick) was already laughing at the very end of that shit.😂
And Patrick can be seen grinning at David's reaction to that. Lovely 😍
@@parvathykutralingam4961 Noah Reid definitely started laughing in that shot.
@@kathrynhoward4196 yeah 😁
Love love love this show!!!!! Soooo much!!!!!!!!
💯💯💯💯💯💯AGREE💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Same for me; Patrick takes David beyond caricature, makes him three dimensional.
When David and Patrick go hiking , David Carrying Patrick too sweet !! please bring back the best tv show ever
"I didn't carry you up a mountain to not have cheese after"
@@beans1030 haha yes that was epic !!!! David and his Shame eatting lol
This has got to be one of the best or THE best even, healthiest portrayal of a relationship on tv rn!! I LOVE this show
Healthiest portrayal of a relationship? Hello? No!
Do people let go how David's so hard to please? How he'd lie to get what he want?
In that series alone, Roland and Jocelyn are the ones who have the best relationship.

Patrick is hands down one of the best TV boyfriends ever.
I'm so in love with their love. When Patrick sings to David... that VOICE
David's smirk when he admits, "I was SO upset...I barely finished the chocolates..." 😆
This show did an AMAZING job showing a person (Patrick) come to the realization that they are homosexual and in love with someone of the same sex. Very well written, directed, acted and produced.
I've seen these so many times. I just love Patrick. Such an honest, wholesome, forgiving, patient, loving, grounding man.
All the above and more!
S.C is written like a utopia Dan Levy has said. Peaceful and feel good. So Patrick is like that as well.it is so wholesome
"We can talk whenever you'd like. Just preferably not before 10 a.m. because I'm not really a morning person"
Same David, same ❤❤❤❤ Best love story of all time!!
"Patrick Brewer, you are my Happy Ending." I love that line.
You do absolutely 100% deserve it. Sending you a bunch of love.
The tears in David’s eyes reminds me so much of the day I married my husband. The best day of my life! Schitt’s Creek was a fantastic series and will never be rivalled. Thank you Dan Levy and team for doing an outstanding job. ❤️
i aspire to have someone love me this much
Seriously. If my love can't be like that I don't want it.
Better yet: Aspire to love someone this much :)

1st couple episodes - " Wtf am I watching"? By the end one of my favorite shows and sad it's over. Great show, great chatacters
Patrick is one of the sweetest, most adorable characters on any show.
i’m extremely late to the party. i had heard several people talking about this show, then it swept the emmy awards. i knew eventually i had to finally start watching it, but for reasons unknown, i kept it on the back burner. it wasn’t until late january or early february 2021 that i finally started. i finished it on march 13th. for all the love stories i have ever seen on television, and without any recency bias, david and patrick’s rank up there as one of the best. their love just felt pure and even for a guy like me who always feels dead inside, their wedding and especially their vows had me in tears. there will never be another like these two. i’m extremely grateful for schitt’s creek and any award the show ever wins is a win for love, a win for inclusivity, and a win for humanity. it’s “simply the best”.
👍🏿
This relationship is truly one of the best love stories ever written♥️
Videos like this help remind me I’m not completely dead inside
Does anyone else think that it’s adorable how David smiles whenever Patrick challenges him? ❤️
I cry every single time! It never fails to move me to tears, this series was a cultural reset and will be iconic and unique forever! A true gift and I can’t find words to thank everyone involved!
Love and agree with the comment about the series - especially Patrick and David’s relationship-being a “cultural reset”.
And the irony that it's shits creek is not lost on me
“So upset that I barely finished the chocolates” 😂😂😂😂 I hate him
I love how Patrick accepts David and his quirks. You don't find people like that. They'll either be overwhelmed or annoyed. But alas Patrick adores David. I hope to find my Patrick in this lifetime. 🤞❤️
i love that during their first meeting you can see on patrick's face that he just finds david adorable
Favorite tv couple of all time and favorite show of all time. The amount of times I’ve watched this show and haven’t gotten tired of it says ALOT.. it still makes me laugh, cry, and feel some type of way every time I watch it. The best writers, cast, and stylist ... PERIOD
Finally!! An actual healthy MLM relationship, so refreshing
Stevie telling David he looked like a youth pastor in Patrick’s clothes is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
The way Patrick smiles at David all throughout his answers in the first part gets me every time. 💖
TV's most charming couple
I just love the way they portrayed this relationship on TV. so healthy, loving, light hearted, ORGANIC. honestly one of the best TV shows ever (overall). I wish they would bring it back
My only regret is.... I’d never known this series until a week ago. But managed to watch all episodes during my recovery from corona virus. Now I’m stuck on it. Not ready to move on, yet. Damn.
(edit)
after weeks, still not ready to move on... rewatch this video over and over again.... especially my favorite scenes: the first kiss, when Patrick says “i love you” and when David says “I love you”... then I laugh out loud when Patrick says “Except in my dream I’m holding a nice cup of tea” as Patrick asked for it when David went to the Vet. 🤣
Me too but without Covid. I cried when it ended
I've rewatched so many times....I can't seem to move on. Nothing compares.
Bless you. And btw Whaat🤯🤯🤯😂😂😂😂❤️
Same here. Now I can't get enough of it. I am now watching all interviews, every video about the show. But I find the Mayor of town actor missing from all videos, interviews and talks about the show. He was a special character in the show
Each and every actor, the characters, the dialogues, each and every word and the exceptional expressions, unspoken words in between dialogues...par excellence!!
I am very and I mean VERY happy that this compilation exists. They are one of the most wholesome couples in TV history.
I Love what Patrick and David had. I wish I could find Love like that😍
The look on Moira's face during the serenade was priceless
David’s rendition of Simply the Best is one of the sexiest scenes in a TV show I have ever seen!
That’s when I fell in love with Daniel Levy.

It's simply the best scene ever!!
I'm so obsessed with Patrick and David's voice. Their voices are so beautiful when they talk to each other like that.
This made my heart happy. The chemistry between them was so unbelievable. They need a spinoff of their story. 💙David & Patrick💙
YES! YES! YES!
Oh and when David sings to Patrick brings tears to my eyes
I just loved it when David's Mom asked her son "Let Me Know When I Should Pull the Fire Alarm" just as Patrick about to serenade David. I just busted out laughing when she said that.
We all need a Patrick in our lives !
Patrick is so cute and plump and loveable. Perfect casting.
I'm sobbing all over again with Patrick's Proposal Scene. 😢
The most romantic couple ever depicted on television. On paper it should not be so, but the performances and the writing made this coupling magical!
Best decision ever, making Noah Reed David’s love interest! Great actor, singer, adorable and the chemistry was perfection. ♥️
Their relationship gives me such warm fuzzies. I cried so hard when they got engaged
The serenade by Patrick to David has to be one of the most all-time superbly written and acted scenes in film.
I so agree! It makes me mushy every time. Moira, David, Patrick, his voice! Swoon 🥰
I love them! Patrick is everything! And Dan Levy is a genius
As I 60 plus year old gay man 45 years as a gay activist Ive waited my entire life for this, thank you
