Next time you are there try the coco cream puffs at Liliha Bakery in the International Market Place. The food in Waikiki can be pricey, Foodland at the Ala Moana Shopping Center has an awesome deli/hot food section and also check out the 7-11’s good food for cheap sounds like a weird place for food but they like the 7-11 in Japan with some good stuff. Also don’t forget some spam musubi!☺️🤙🏼

Just back from two weeks on Kauai and Oahu. It feels like paradise/home to me. You’re totally right, it’s the feeling of inner peace and bliss. As soon as you step off the plane and breathe it’s incredible. I live in Australia.

Paradise for my wife and I is traveling and seeing or tasting amazing things for the first time. Your videos are a great way to see parts of the world we haven’t yet explored.
I envy people like you who can tolerate jet lag because when I studied in Spain in college in '07, I learned that I couldn't be an airline pilot or a flight attendant because of it. 😄 I could go north or south all day long, or even one time zone east or west, but outside of that it would be a no-go for me. Hawaii is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

My mother was born on Oahu and I've had the good fortune of living there when I was young, I understand the feeling you get when you are there, it feels like I'm home every time I visit, if you haven't tried it, both the Diamond head hike and the Lanikai pillbox hike are awesome, views for days. Thanks for making this video. Got me homesick a lot. We just moved from Hawaii to Texas last July. Paradise to me is where my heart feels peace, my mind fell rested, my body relax. No stress, only joy. Hawaii is definitely a place where I can call paradise. Definitely trying to go visit next year! 🤙🏖️🌴

Such an interesting question from the Uber driver. I live in Cape Town and went to Mauritius for the first time in 2010 and found an instant connection with it. I'm so relaxed and at peace there, and have returned 8 times over the years. Not sure if that qualifies as Paradise but I cry every time I leave despite coming home to my family. Thanks for your lovely vlogs - I'm really enjoying them. Safe travels 🙏✈️

Everglades National park in the fall, listening to the wind going through the saw grass and the sun is starting to set. That’s paridise😊 By the way on Hulu there’s a special on women’s romance books called “naughty books” it interviews women authors and there motivation on writing. I didn’t know if it would peak your curiosity or not, but after listening to your critiques on authors i decided to watch it. Anyway have a good night 😴

"What does Paradise mean to you?' That is such a great question. For me, yeah Hawaii and tropical sun and warmth would be one. Another would be a beautiful sunny day in the mountains, riding fresh powder. In that moment, nothing else matters, just you and the mountain.
It's an Ube roll, looks like. Ube is a type of yam. Last trip to Maui, had purple Ube pancakes with my daughter and they were amazing.

Koko Head is the hardest hike I have done in my life. The last 10% were brutal, my legs were shaking. Respect to you for finishing it!

My idea of paradise would be living in a small, cozy cabin filled with lots of books and a dog that loves to cuddle when he's not exploring outside. The cabin would be on a mountain overlooking the sea(similar to being high up looking at a fjord in Norway but in a much warmer environment 🤣). I love Hawaii. My family and I stayed for a week and half for new years and my dad's birthday back in 2015 and 2016.
I happen to live in "Paradise." I was born here in Hawai'i, went to school on the "mainland," then came back. Worked for Delta Airlines Cargo for 23 years. Love to travel and love your posts.

For me, paradise is that little exclusive garden of Eden or Oasis in my head where I hide for few valuable minutes or hours to escape our crazy chaotic concrete jungle. Only a select few number of family and friends and POSITIVE channels like "Jetting Julia" take me there and I am very grateful for that. It really is what is keeping me sane during these insane times! Happy Holidays JJ

Fantastically fun video! I recognized the hotel village and lagoon from our honeymoon 8 years ago, So many wonderful memories. We vow to go back on our 10-year anniversary. My wife and I had the same conversation. Where do residents of Hawaii go to get 'away from it all (Paradise)?' I have been fortunate enough to be raised in the Colorado Rockies my whole life, it is beautiful beyond words, yet it is landlocked. I love the beach and boats! - Fun fact, the opening scene of the classic Gilligan's Island television show was filmed in that harbor. Additionally, when my wife and I returned from Honolulu, we were watching an episode Hawaii Five-O. A scene was filmed in the exact location, hotel poolside (and deck chairs) where we were lounging two days earlier. Wondering if you brought back some Honolulu coffee. It is simply the BEST! Thank you for stirring such wonderful memories! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the three of you!

what if you put a flower on both ears? Congrats on Hawaii again! Pretty nice to see Hawaii when its dreadfully cold now in the Carolinas. I would consider paradise attending a pro golf event at an exotic location such as there. Yes, Mauna Kea has a famous golf course out in Hawaii but Pebble Beach CA is one of the more famous and historical.

I've never been to hawaii, but have always wanted to visit! My idea of paradise is a beach, relaxing under a palm tree, with a good book, my hubby and our dogs. Cant think of anything better!

My favorite 😍 I was in a book hangover from them too! I’m going to start her crescent city series in 2023. Another fantasy book I really enjoyed was lightlark & also the grace year was crazy good!
My version of paradise is being in a snow-covered forest with evergreen trees, a heated cabin, a frozen pond to play hockey on, & hills to go skiing down.

Yes, Hawaii truly is a Paradise for us as well. It is the "feeling" that we get when there. Oh yes, that one piece suit, not very flattering on you.
I recognized the HHV. I used to do all the Waikiki hotel reservations. We lived in Hawaii for 3 1/2 years. And the view from The Alamoana Hotel. Awe Miss Hawaii.

theres one more hiking trail close to koko head. its the hanauma bay trail. u can go for sunrise too and have a great view of the hanauma bay

I lived in colorado for 5 years and never did that hike! I’ll have to go back for it.

Koko head hike is tough. The view is so worth it though. I have done it 3 times. I cuss myself when I start, once I get to the top though I never regret it.

I’m from Dallas but currently stationed in Hawaii. And I highly recommend eating at kono’s in Kailua probably an hour drive from the airport but we’ll worth it
