White-tailed eagles, including talon lock - Zeearenden

White-tailed eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) are growing in numbers in the Netherlands. They scare the hell out of the geese. The two eagles in this video were filmed in De Onlanden, Drenthe, The Netherlands, on April 7, 2024. In the first part of the video you can see the first bird flying over. At 2:20 you can see the second one joining. They grap each other by the talons and do a "Daredevil Cartwheel Flight". Not very good footage because I was filming almost straight into the direction of the sun, but quite spectacular to see. There was a lot of wind noise, so I added some music. This time "Reflected Light" by Serge Pavkin.
