Here’s how to pair a phone using Bluetooth® Wireless Technology:
Press SETUP on the audio system …
    Then DEVICE CONNECTIONS …

    And finally, ADD NEW.
Once you select your Bluetooth preferences, select OK.
If you’re pairing a device with your system for the first time, you can also press the CALL button on the steering wheel and add the device…
Or, alternatively, press PHONE on the HOME screen.
Make sure the device you’re pairing is turned on and Bluetooth is enabled - then open the Bluetooth screen on that device so that it will search for Bluetooth connections.
Select the vehicle system on the list of searched devices.
The system’s Bluetooth name will appear on the “ADD NEW DEVICE” window.
Ensure that the Bluetooth Passkey on the device matches the one on the system screen - then confirm the connection from the device.
If you’d like to download your contacts and messages from your phone to your Kia, you must allow the access request on your phone.
After the access request is approved, it may take several seconds until the Bluetooth connection is completed.
Once your Bluetooth connection is successful, you will see the Bluetooth status icon at the top of the audio system screen.
You can add up to five Bluetooth devices.
In DEVICE CONNECTIONS, from the AUTO CONNECTION PRIORITY screen, you can set the priority of paired devices for your system to connect with automatically.
On select Kia models, if there are two registered devices in the vehicle at the same time, you can use one for making and receiving calls, while both can be used to stream audio.
In BLUETOOTH CONNECTIONS, select which one you want to use for calls and which one you want to use for music by pressing the ICONS next to the device name.
Now let’s review the ways to make a call from the PHONE screen:
Dial from the Recent Call list ...
    From the Favorites list ...
    Dial a contact …
And last, using the dial pad to manually enter each digit.
You can make calls directly from the Call History on the PHONE screen…
Or you can press the CALL button on the steering wheel …
You will see RECENT CALLS …
Then select the number you want to call.
To make a call using the Favorites List, press the FAVORITES button…
then select the contact you want to call.
You can also place calls from your CONTACTS LIST that has been downloaded from your connected mobile device.
From the PHONE screen, press the CONTACTS LIST button …
Then select a contact from the list.
You can download up to 5,000 contacts for each device.
You can also place a call by entering the phone number using the dial pad.
On the PHONE screen, select the DIAL PAD button …
    Enter the phone number …
Then press the CALL icon to make the call.
To accept an incoming call, press ACCEPT on the screen…
