Been following your journey since you were on 3k subs while I was contemplating accepting a Dubai-based position. Now living living here for 2 years and still learning so much from your experiences. Thank you✨️
This was a very different and nice video. You are so young but have so much advice to give everyone. I think in my country, the burnout switched up a notch after covid. Thanks for another amazing video.
Hey Mabel! Do you have any advice on being self employed in Dubai? Looking to move over but I’m a Makeup Artist & not really sure how you get a self employed job in a salon😩thanks! X
Hey love!! Hmm good question I'm not sure for in a salon as I think that would be mainland... but maybe you could look through an agency rather than freelance? Or maybe it's worth asking a freezone (I have a video on this too) and see if it's possible!
Hey thanks for the video!! Could you give me some agencies who help Brits to find a job in dubai?? Or it s better to come here and find a job as a fresher
Hey!! I dunno about agencies actually I think maybe genie or salt, they’re both agencies here but I think going directly to the company will be best in lots of industries. I have another video about how to find a job as well!!
Worked as a teacher for 2 years there. Definitely work hard play hard culture especially as expats. I was seen as the ‘expert’ lol being from London 🥲 can lead to burn out and stress. But I will say weekends felt like I was on a holiday!
Thank you for sharing!! I totally relate to the burnout. My bf was a teacher too- at least the teachers have the holidays haha! And for the role, yes I don’t see why not. For marketing jobs I would say get some experience as well if poss🙏🙏
