Todd got us our dream retirement home in Nov in nearby Oak Ridge and it is perfect for retirees. Everything is 10 min away off 1 main road with fantastic health care & a hospital with plenty of shopping, grocery stores and churches. The fantastic Oak Ridge Senior Center is free for all residents over 50 yrs old & has pickle ball 3x a week, with the nicest people from beginners to advanced players. Also the Center has daily card games, pool tables, book clubs, crafts, wood working, bingo, chess, bridge, exercise, dance & genealogy classes plus changing monthly lectures. We have the Oak Ridge Art Center right next to the Senior Center that has classes in pottery, painting, drawing, weaving, jewelry making & Tai Chi for fees. Plus we have the Oak Ridge Institute for Continued Learning with multiple classes in history, music, travel, art, languages, computers, finance, health, etc for fees. This community is a great place to retire with friendly, welcoming people all around us & we are so happy we relocated here from Florida.
