Part of my theory is that people are being “pulled in” to the town by someone or something- I’m not saying this is the main story, but a part of it. Lately, on rewatch, I’ve been wondering if Victor is unconsciously responsible for some of what goes on. Maybe he is pulling certain people in to help, unknowingly. It seems that he was left there as the only survivor of some tragedy, and maybe he’s pulling people in. He’s been there the longest, I think. Or, maybe he’s just like the others and this all began long ago. Some of the people are like Victor, some are not, I think he’s someone who’s more receptive to what’s going on.
The best episode. I agree with your take on the picture. I also found it odd why they would be taking normal pictures. I believe Victor existed in the town before all the monsters and stuff appeared.
Interesting breakdown. You're on par with From Land when it comes to insightful analyses. So, does the string theory comment tie into the 'strings' Jasmine is attached to that are pulled by some unknown entity? One could fold that concept into your boogeyman hypothesis: either the monsters used to be human and he turned them or he willed them into existence somehow as his first offensive line to make the denizens fear him and thereby believe in him. The next step would consist in infiltrating their dreams and having their nightmares leave an impact that can be felt/observed in a waking state (worms, cicadas). That's probably why the worms manage to take out Smiley when Boyd transfers them to him. Boogeyman is in full control of the environment and gets to change or bend the rules on a whim so the magic bullets don't yield any results at all. I wonder whether The Boy in White is a semblance of his conscience taking shape and subtly opposing him because he only nudges people in the right direction until they're in the right place for, shall we say, drastic intervention, i.e. pushing Tabitha through the Lighthouse window. The color white not so surprisingly represents his innocent side and it's at its strongest in/around the Lighthouse that usually symbolizes strength, safety, individuality, mystery and existentialism; safety from the Jungian Shadow at play or rather fully manifested within the Boogeyman and Fromville that seems to be his mindscape, individuality because he may be nothing but a force of nature longing to share in the human experience (or deem being accepted as one of the denizens a viable loophole to escape this pocket dimension), mystery due to the town's entire set-up that may be in constant flux in terms of its nature / quantum state (so it could be purgatory temporarily, shifting into a pocket dimension etc.), existentialism as it emphasizes the existence of the individual as a free agent determining their own development through acts of the will (Tabitha and Jade's willingness to engage with the symbols and explore Fromville's edges, Sara's willingness to kill, Victor's arrested development bringing about restricted agency). Edit: I've looked into some Chaos gods because you used the term in your video title. There's the Greek Khaos who is the very first entity in existence who is followed by the two primordial gods Erebus (darkness) and Nyx (night) amongst others. Also, Eris the God of Chaos was known among the other Greek gods for her short temper, moodiness and bloodlust. She loved carnage and chilling with her brother, God of War, Ares. Regarding Ares, the Civil War soldier comes to mind.
I think I caught a plothole, because when Fatima and Ellis trapped themselves in the corridor with the talisman it showed that the monsters couldnt get in any enclosed area with the talisman, but when the monsters killed trudy they closed the door behind her to trap her, which means the rest of the house became an enclosed area
Great video! I don’t think Fatima and Ellis were exempt from the attacks bcuz to the dreamcatcher, they didn’t go to sleep after you know what happened (don’t want to spoil for others).
Yes, i think it needs a quota. if you count up the ppl who died in season 1 and the amount of ppl who arrive in season two on the bus is the same. If i remember right, its 25 ppl
@@EmansReviewsNah it hurts but its off slightly. Megan, Frank, Tobey, nurse, Kenny's father, Nathan, father Khatri, and 17 at colony house=only 24! 25 came on the bus.
Okay. Given the logic that Fatima used to keep the monsters from getting them. Wouldn’t that mean that the walkers shouldn’t have been able to leave the bathroom if the door was closed?
I give Eliis props for jumping off the roof but he didn't have to break his arm in the process. He wasn't that high up for one and two who jumps off of the roof like that. He jump off like he was jumping into water.
You know what the townsfolk need? A town meeting where they do a larger version of the writing on the wall at the Matthews house. They need to make a sorta town ledger to chronicle all the facts they learn- so even if they don't survive, the people that come after have a better chance. Or... maybe there already is one among the stuff in the Diner's back room. Regarding the Talismans, I think the people at the time of Victor's mom and Chris had them and they were returned to that cave/shrine when the town reset. That's why they seemed at ease enough to snap a Polaroid. Remember, when the series starts, they had gone three months with no monster deaths. They had their shit together and only carelessness broke their streak.... Or did it? There's a real aura of predestination in town- the town maintains a set number of residents- in season one, we lose a bunch of people and at the start of season two, we get 25 new people. Several of the bus people killed and the remaining number is the exact needed to replace those lost in season one. But that means whatever powers that be already knew who would die. That lends credence to the simulation theory. If it's all a sim, it would also explain why we see "NPC" type characters with no lines always walking to a fro in town. They get no lines and seem a generic racial mix. It's suspicious.
That's why they need the whole town writing on the wall! But my only concern is aren't the talismans a finite resource? I guess they could get most of them and hang them at the cave thresholds, and the rest could be used in just a few of the buildings where the people just get together for a few nights to see what happens, but they're still protected by the talusmens. You could even build some structures out by the caves to watch that are also protected with the talismans.
@Demon-tl3ev Idk, I don't think we have a map, but some characters know where at least some of the cave mouths are. Victor, Jade, Tabitha, at least. I guess Jim now knows that under his house is a chamber with the drawings that leads to the area they sleep in.
@@Demon-tl3evunderneath the first house that Jim’s family had. Remember, it fell on top of them when she was trying to break down the basement floor. Whoever was on the radio knew she was down there. Im sure they would know about restraining the monsters from exiting the layer. A huge storm came out of nowhere when they tried an attempt for answers. I think we are in for a ride.
Someone must be keeping track of days and months, because how do they know Fatima's been there for a whole year. There is a calendar in Donna's room that it from March 1972, but that can't be the one they are using.
This was a really good episode and I’m pissed off at Kevin throw Kevin away he doesn’t need to be buried because getting a kiss from a girlwasn’t that serious. I’m pretty sure eventually he would’ve found someone who wanted to love on him who wasn’t already dead.
The town maintains an exact number of people. POSSIBLE SPOILERS BUT NOTHING TOO CRAZY- It stays constant, with new people arriving when the monsters kill townsfolk. After the Colony House massacre, they also lose Father Kathri and a guy that hangs himself. Then the bus arrives and a seven of them get killed that night- leaving the exact number of new people (16) to replace the people killed or died in season one. It's a balance. That might still imply an experiment though. Or a simulation. Or a well maintained terrarium.
Kevin seems like a nerdy, emotional idiot - BUT, many people in real life, due to their own problems & emotional thinking (which is represented here on a very simplified level) fall for narcissists and other toxic people, who love bomb them, then devalue, discard, and ruin their lives, sometimes do worse, like the end result of Kevin on the show. Kevin & Jasmine’s relationship was like the relationship between a narcissist and their victim sped up x 1000. 😂
Kevin lets Jasmine inside the bathroom window but the monsters kill Trudy in Donna's room, in which Ellis throws something out of the window to break it before jumping off the roof. Donna's left with a big mess in her room. Broken windows and bloody carpet.

Just mad that kevin didn’t feel loved enough by his own people to have talk to a scary devil monster a window glass away.. home girl coulda let Kev hit real quick tho… less than perfect character arch for my boy😂😂
I also wonder if the intro is a clue. The intro is a masculinization of the song “whatever will be, will be: Que sera, sera” by Doris Day. A song about worrying over the future as she grows up but everyone telling her “it is what it is”
Ok…. FULLY THIS IS A JOKE I AM STATING NOW: Michigan gets mentioned a few times. Specifically Grand RAPIDS, Michigan. Then, when the girlfriend shows up as one of the bus people. She says: Your mom and I have looked everywhere for you. Yet, you were only a couple hours away. As a generational Michigander (about 180 years of my ancestors living in Michigan). Civil war veterans too. Which I noticed that one scene had a Union Solider run through it. We have a “spot” about two plus hours north of Grand Rapids. Just over the bridge. It is called: The Magic Spot. A great tourist trap. It is where supposedly everything is upside down, alternate energy, etc. So, my first thought was…. lol… oh, they are in Michigan living across the bridge in the forest there. Just a joke because I doubt the writers know about our little spot in MICHIGAN. Also, the light house. We are famous for lighthouses. And many have been here forever it seems. When, the scene occurred in the tent. I felt I knew what was shaking, moving the tent. We are surrounded by lakes. So water crafts are a normal part of life. I think it was a boat or ship that in an alternative time. When water was there that. That came to close to the tent. The sounds and movements of tent seemed like what happens when you are too close to a boat going by. Have felt that before. Plus, next scene was first view of lighthouse. So, sorta confirmed to me it was a boat (in water) from an alternate time too close to tent. Blessings to you. JoAnn Forsberg.
Kevin thought he'd have his "Twilight" romance... SUCKA! Jasmine and the other monsters that get into Colony House are dressed up for prom/school dance in a 1950's way. We see this particularly when the black debutante monster and Jasmine are slowly walking down the stairs.

I don't think Kevin would have thought to ask to see her in her true form. Heck, we don't even know if that IS their true form! Maybe they're stuck in those forms because human subconscious makes them look like that and they hate humans for it. We just don't know. Yet.

Spoiler alert: Dreamcatchers and Talismans are both Native American in origin. Remember Jade gets chased by a Civil War soldier, a bottle in the forest was 1864, and the underground pyramids in the forest seem Native.
There has to be something to do with the 50's or 60's time period the monsters dressed from that time period and the music boxes in the dinner all from that period of time. This also has something to do with time because of the flashes from civil war.
Maybe I'm overthinking it.....but this show makes me think like that lol do you think the dogs in the woods are bad? Victor did shoot at them to scare them away, which makes me think the dogs are bad or they're good and victor doesn't want them to help

Yeah i yhink fatimas kiss with girl and with kevin in back frame walking away was foreshadowing kiss of death and lack of an emotional void for kev. And also this episode showed that is was seven days since last death which i believe was kenny dad

So true, actually I think even kevin’s room was closed as well, when he was attacked
Reaching
Almost but remember shawty monster left the window open, thus house is not enclosed
Thanks for taking us back E-Man! It's amazing how much we're catching THEN ....knowing what we do NOW. 😉 (also...leave it to a damn KEVIN. SMH 🙄)
Just wait until I get to the season finale. I think I cracked a few mysteries 🤫
I'm here for it. Let's GO! 🥳💕
Kevin was the edible arrangement that night
Underated comment
😂😂
Great video! I don’t think Fatima and Ellis were exempt from the attacks bcuz to the dreamcatcher, they didn’t go to sleep after you know what happened (don’t want to spoil for others).
True true 🤔
I think there is something to the fact that the monsters go for their mouths! The voices also made Sarah cut Toby's tongue out... 🤔
Youre right this is a great episode. Love this show. Now i will watch this guys videos
Donna KO'd Dale her real life husband 😂
🤣
16:34 Love that song! Never heard this version but still amazing!
Yes, i think it needs a quota. if you count up the ppl who died in season 1 and the amount of ppl who arrive in season two on the bus is the same. If i remember right, its 25 ppl
I always wondered if I missed a part because I could swear only 24 of the 25 were accounted for from the bus
I think that's accurate
@@EmansReviewsNah it hurts but its off slightly. Megan, Frank, Tobey, nurse, Kenny's father, Nathan, father Khatri, and 17 at colony house=only 24! 25 came on the bus.
Spoiler alert: The monsters seem like they were actually human before. Their clothes arent from 1864. If Victor knows the monsters Im gonna be angry😅
@@mambojazz1maybe someone we think is alive… isn’t.
Love your breakdowns. Thanks!
Been waiting on your view on this episode!!! ts my fave
Okay. Given the logic that Fatima used to keep the monsters from getting them.
Wouldn’t that mean that the walkers shouldn’t have been able to leave the bathroom if the door was closed?
Maybe. You'd need the window closed and a talisman inside the bathroom
Why don't they put the talismans at the threshold of the monster caves so they can't come out?
That's why they need the whole town writing on the wall! But my only concern is aren't the talismans a finite resource? I guess they could get most of them and hang them at the cave thresholds, and the rest could be used in just a few of the buildings where the people just get together for a few nights to see what happens, but they're still protected by the talusmens. You could even build some structures out by the caves to watch that are also protected with the talismans.
Where’s the caves ?
Plot but also I think it has to do with they don’t know
Someone must be keeping track of days and months, because how do they know Fatima's been there for a whole year. There is a calendar in Donna's room that it from March 1972, but that can't be the one they are using.
I wonder if they ever figured out how Jasmine got inside?
This was a really good episode and I’m pissed off at Kevin throw Kevin away he doesn’t need to be buried because getting a kiss from a girlwasn’t that serious. I’m pretty sure eventually he would’ve found someone who wanted to love on him who wasn’t already dead.
Loll i never thought you continue this series of season 1 let's goooo
How was Kevin living at a place with "free luv" and still dateless😄
Poor Kev.
The town maintains an exact number of people.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS BUT NOTHING TOO CRAZY-
It stays constant, with new people arriving when the monsters kill townsfolk.
@12:45 I think there weren't any monsters back then but Victor cant remember
Kevin seems like a nerdy, emotional idiot - BUT, many people in real life, due to their own problems & emotional thinking (which is represented here on a very simplified level) fall for narcissists and other toxic people, who love bomb them, then devalue, discard, and ruin their lives, sometimes do worse, like the end result of Kevin on the show. Kevin & Jasmine’s relationship was like the relationship between a narcissist and their victim sped up x 1000. 😂
the trapping of the monsters is such a great idea.
Yes, the monsters go for mouths & tongues, the guy in episode 1 got his tongue cut out by Sarah (I think that’s her name), and Kevin’s was bitten out.
17:48 rewatching this eman and dang this might be what boyd is thinking of doing in season 3 from the most recent episode
Kevin lets Jasmine inside the bathroom window but the monsters kill Trudy in Donna's room, in which Ellis throws something out of the window to break it before jumping off the roof. Donna's left with a big mess in her room. Broken windows and bloody carpet.
You and Reel Egnima. have some, of the most in-depth, Theories on From
Whatever, Will Be will be. The Future isn't ours U see ✌️🏾
I feel like Elis could of gotten less drunk and had a little more respect. Like bro its ur girls party! And i say that cuz if lunatic mother shot up the camp like a GTA character, id have a lil more respect… light skins… man what can i say… but yeah colony house dude had point. They also killed the father off too quickly man. But thats how good television works man… great episode. Just mad that kevin didn’t feel loved enough by his own people to have talk to a scary devil monster a window glass away.. home girl coulda let Kev hit real quick tho… less than perfect character arch for my boy😂😂
LMFAOOO
Can't believe all this chaos happened because nobody let Kevin hit.
I also wonder if the intro is a clue. The intro is a masculinization of the song “whatever will be, will be: Que sera, sera” by Doris Day. A song about worrying over the future as she grows up but everyone telling her “it is what it is”
Ok…. FULLY THIS IS A JOKE I AM STATING NOW:
Michigan gets mentioned a few times.
Kevin is the reason I would NEVER live in that house
Kevin thought he'd have his "Twilight" romance...
SUCKA!
Jasmine and the other monsters that get into Colony House are dressed up for prom/school dance in a 1950's way.
We see this particularly when the black debutante monster and Jasmine are slowly walking down the stairs.
@@jasoncaldwell5627 just ask Jasmine. She talks. She will tell you
@@jasoncaldwell5627 Kev could have just asked her to see her true form. She would have changed ouTside into the monster. If she willing to talk why not have a dialogue. Maybe a truce could be made
@@AfriqueNY Ha! Nooo...I think Fatima was right in the second episode when she told Julie they "get into your head" and that's why they cover the windows and why she told Julie not to look at the monsters.
I think, once they "get into your head" they manipulate you so you'll be open to suggestions like opening a nailed closed window. I don't think Kevin would have thought to ask to see her in her true form.
Heck, we don't even know if that IS their true form!
Maybe they're stuck in those forms because human subconscious makes them look like that and they hate humans for it.
We just don't know. Yet.
I wonder if Julie taking one of his flower arrangements means anything
@@865LiveProductions she liked him
No one communicates in this show smh. After that they shouldve done some type of investigation to why it happened and ways to prevent it
the slow burn of this episode KILLED ME in the best way lmfao
omg the Polaroid pic. I'm with you 100%. What we taking pics for????? They seem happy, despite the circumstances. If the circumstances existed at that time. Part of me feels like the two was regular at that point and then it became bad.
We've all been there, Kevin.
You have no love in your life and you turn to a supernatural evil to hook up with, then she bites your tongue out. Happens to everyone.
We've all risked everyone for a cute blonde and yeah, it gets everyone killed, but don't beat yourself up over it. It happens. It happens. We all have our "Jasmine".
This comment💀
I theorise that whatever is there gets awakened and then put back to sleep every couple of decades
I think it was asleep while Victor and his family lived there - there was no threat, until that pastor unlocked it cause he started getting called to it
I’d let that super hot monster in also. Lol. Sorry guys, you better start running after she kills me. Lol
🤦🏿♂️😅😭
Nah I don’t have to run they don’t run I take my sweet time
Smh. We all dead cause you can't have a convo through the window? Long as she outside she cool. Let her rock.
@@AfriqueNYKevin was reasonably chatting through the window until he got desperate for some action. Simply don't allow any of your people to chat with the monster or be alone in the house whatsoever.
@alejandromaldonado6159 well isolation will make you a little crazy. But by now they should know the monsters are immortal. She can play the looooooong game and she did.
Why didn't Father Khatri run inside ? Why was he walking so casually when he knew death was outside ?
The monster snuck up on him and blindsided him.
Dude really thought he was gonna clap that monsters cheeks and ended up with his whole tongue ripped out. I feel like if half of the twitch “just chatting” community was in From everybody would be dead 😂
@@478Johnnyboy happens every day man. She lined him up
Spoiler alert: Dreamcatchers and Talismans are both Native American in origin. Remember Jade gets chased by a Civil War soldier, a bottle in the forest was 1864, and the underground pyramids in the forest seem Native.
Wendigo vibe
There has to be something to do with the 50's or 60's time period the monsters dressed from that time period and the music boxes in the dinner all from that period of time. This also has something to do with time because of the flashes from civil war.
Bald Headed Skalley Wag monster. 😂
I find the monsters’ clothing to be interesting. They’re dressed mid-to-late ‘60s.
The town is sentient.
I was thinking this too.
7:50 we all know Abby killed everyone. Is this an old video? I thought it was an episode rewatch
Maybe I'm overthinking it.....but this show makes me think like that lol do you think the dogs in the woods are bad? Victor did shoot at them to scare them away, which makes me think the dogs are bad or they're good and victor doesn't want them to help
I think the dogs are good. They've helped Boyd find his way back to the town. Victor just seems scared 🤔
I just finished this epsiode, Kevin is probably the dumbest characther on gwad. I was punching the air😂😂😂😂
The cheeks will get you every time bro
The crows are the monsters in the day that's how they know things about the residents
What evidence is there that is the case? 🤔
Title: from season 1, episose 7 breakdown
Video start at 0:42
Definitely wish the Colony house had a second talisman for emergency protocol to draw into a smaller space.
🔸️What a way to foreshadow Father K's demise, by letting us know about the day he ended up in FROMville. I do not know why, but I feel like that FROMster targeted him. No games. What was that one wearing anyways: diner waitress gear? Father K was being all dazed instead of just hurrying in. Smh.
🔸️Colony needs to have a "we need to talk about Kevin" moment. Do they even know it was because if him? Ugh! It was handled, but I am upset that he did not go through enough. I suppose Jasmine was more interested in toying instead if torture.
🔸️Yeah, that town seemed to be a normal place. The electrical outlets, not so much. No church nor bible either. The appliances, clocks, random objects and furniture are plentiful. I would love to go through the storage. It is so hard to pin point time by using clothes. Fashion cycles are wild. Lol. There must be some cell phones in there. I am not even going to start on the vehicles.
🔸️Oooooooh! I love that song @ 16:32 Dernière Danse! I understand about the mouth thing. I am still wondering why Sara had to get Tobey's. Yes! Eliis was like "jump up, jump up and get down, even if it means breaking my arm!" 😆
🔸️Is that cellar protected in some way?
Is this a re-uploaded?
Ive been sure of a quota since we learned its been 90 days since incident (timed with the talismans] and they hadnt had new vistors in a while. Which was flimsy af lol but then this episode/the bus happened, aside from 1 bus person still missing the #'s keep adding up. Im guessing with Tabitha "gone" in s3 right off we are getting a new arrival. And where is the other bus person that is bugging the heck outta me.
I don’t think we’ll get a new one because I think if you escape: the town loses a no. from its quota
The town has to kill them to get more people in!
Trapping monsters! Now you thinking like Boyd!
Just started season 2. Seems to be creating more questions than giving answers.
Poor Kevin, I understand why he fell for that creature because he was invisible so it put him in that predicament of falling for the dangerous one. Just like a simp...
When I tell you that I am still mad at Kev! I wonder how long he was in FRROMville. I would love if they get him in one of the flashbacks or something. I need to hate on him some more. Lol. This ep is definitely the best for me.
I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't smoke any green in that place.
Oh I can and I will
So why couldn’t they go back to colony house the day after the attack?
Yeah i yhink fatimas kiss with girl and with kevin in back frame walking away was foreshadowing kiss of death and lack of an emotional void for kev.
And also this episode showed that is was seven days since last death which i believe was kenny dad
I wonder what the 2 cars driving in town at the same time means?
"Tru-day!!" * Oscar Proud voice * 😅
To address the quota…. There was a time where everyone died so not sure if they invalidates the “quota” theory.
What took so long for this video? Had me searching for it. Lol. 😂
Season 2 had me too busy. Lol
Understandable
Where are the next episodes. I need the recap.
Dope
When I first watched the episode, I was interested, I though Jasmine would try to take the whole house alone, and I thought maybe the people in the house would be able to kill her, which would be a landmark.
How are they going to take on super strong , super fast monster once she shifts into monster mode? They are only slow in human form. How would they catch one without a metal trap?
@@AfriqueNY I don’t know I was only like 7 episodes in at that point, I figured if enough people ganged up than maybe they could kill one

Do they ever even question how they got in?
The crows are communicating with Sarah.
