    This is AMAZING! You are wonderful! The way you speak and explain is exactly what I needed. I am very very new to the ipad digital planning and have a bit of a creative side - so I was very interested in learning how to do this myself rather than buying it all from etsy. I am SO glad I came across your tutorial!! I subscribed and can't wait to watch move videos!

    Hi I love the way you teach, so easy to understand and pick up how to do things thankyou!
    Can I ask, the way you have done these stickers, if I sell them as printable stickers for people to download and use, can they be used on cutting machine like Cricut or silhouette?
    Thanks!

      Yes. Since you can upload PNG files onto Circuit, so these planner stickers will work too. Thanks for watching!

    Thank you for showing how to add an outline to the images! I have been trying so hard to figure out how people have done that to make them match so perfectly, and was at a loss. My guess was that they somehow duplicated the image, layered it under, and manipulated it to a darker shade or something.

    Hi faith, for GoodNotes when it says pre-cut does it means I have to save individual files or I can do it in 1 sheet under PNG. Then for cricut stickers sheet when I save under pdf and also png do I have to do the white border. Thank you so much. You are a great teacher.😊

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not familiar with using the Cricut machine so I can't give you a certain answer for that. GoodNotes you'd need to upload separate sticker images if you want them 'pre-cut' so users will import individual images. Or sell it as a PNG file with transparent background and the user can use the cropping tool to crop the individual stickers.

  • @courtneyj5409
    @courtneyj5409 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is a great video! Only question I have is when you go to save the file, I got a tad confused. When you save in PDF form, what is that doing? Can we sell the PDF form or if we want to sell, do we need to save in the PNG with a transparent background? Can you explain each again, please? :)

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's up to you. You can sell as is printable stickers so you can sell it as a PDF file and people would just print it out at home on a sticker sheet and cut it. Or you can sell it as digital planner stickeres so you sell it as PNG file and people would import the digital stickers into any digital planner app that they use on their tablet.

    You are so generous with your information and a great teacher, thank you! One question I have is, I noticed you have more of the simple shapes in the Canva elements section than I have, I have a pro account so I thought we'd have the same stuff. Did you get more shapes from somewhere else?
    (For example, in the "make a simple journal" video, the shape you used for the journal tabs is one I don't have. So I started comparing your shapes to mine and you have a lot more.)

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fortunately or unfortunately, Canva changes its dashboard pretty often. So the "Shapes" section looks different now that I used to. I'd suggest just searching for the particular shape you want to use under "elements" instead of going into the shapes section. Hope this makes sense.
      Thank you for watching!

      You'd need to upload your file on a cloud platform like Google Drive or dropbox and then copy the download link to this file. Then create a separate word document that gives instructions to your customers on how to download your planner and then insert the download link in this word doc. Save it as PDF and then upload this PDF file onto Etsy. =)

      Yes, that’s right. The default photo editor each time you click on “edit image” should be the new editor now. And you just need to scroll down to get to the “old experience” and vice versa

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you have a Canva Pro account, you can remove background of an image inside Canva. If you are doing it somewhere else and still want to use it in your canva design, then you would have to upload it back to Canva to complete your Canva design. Then download your final product either as PDF or PNG/JPEG to sell in your shop.

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry I don't use Cricut myself so I'm unable to advise that. But based on what I know, you can import JPEG/PNG files onto Cricut and make edits there, which means technically speaking, you can create your initial designs in Canva, export as JPEG/PNG and then out the offset when you import into Cricut.

    very interesting. So, you just sell that one sheet of stickers online? Before, I always think these stickers are like those which you can peel and stick it on something else! Seen these when I was a young kid years ago!!!

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can sell them as single sheets of digital planner stickers where people use them for their digital planners. When you will them as PNG files, your customers can also upload the files onto their Cricut program and then print them out on sticker sheets.

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For example when using a digital planner in GoodNotes, the user can use the lasso tool to crop out the individual stickers from the sticker page and paste it on whichever pages they want.
      Or if the sticker sheet is in PNG/Jpg format, the sticker images can be imported and added to the digital planners.

    I keep seeing creators suggesting Creative Fabrica to use in Canva projects, but paid Canva elements are also commercially licensed and can be used in projects to be sold as well, so I get very confused if these creators are just trying to push CF or if it really has that much more to offer! I have tried looking up some elements and graphics on CF and felt like they all looked similar and kind of cheesy :(

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s really up to you to choose what works best for your business! 🙂 but my preference is using commercial graphics from creative fabrica because there’s a lot more variety and the commercial use license are clearer in my opinion. I use graphics from creative fabrica but I do the designing in canva when I create printables to sell

    I will not use their AI technology. Read the license agreement. You must state to the world this was created by canva ai give them credit. Even though I use it as a starting point, make it my own by adding stuff etc nope you agree to give them credit! You agree also they can advertise your ai to promote the ai show to other people but then say it belongs to me, which is confusing! I am sticking to old fashioned work and hustle.

    • @digidownlo
      @digidownlo ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Angel, I have uploaded lots of my AI images into Canva, my images were created with DALL.E.3 (bing) not canva ai. Does this mean even if I haven't listed a finished product on the internet for sale yet, they can claim rights just because they are in my canva gallery. I may need to read up on this, just thought you may have read it already. Thank you

  • @moolababy

    I was told by Creative Fabrica that you can't just mix and match elements on "digital products" without adding your own unique stuff to it as well. I think I would double check on that. I saved my conversation with a live support person. Just mixing and matching without that will get you in trouble.

    • @allaroundgifted

      True. You have to add tour pwn touches. They mention it on their website...i think in the part about licensing.

    Faith I talked to canva over the weekend. I am new, learned sticker outline, gonna specialize in stickers to sell. They said I can revert back for now. But, honestly they acted stupid that tons of businesses use this as a normal part of creating products for our business! I begged them. I said only subscribe to you and I do not know how and where else to get this feature! Bottom line, out with the old in with the new. You incorrectly said about merging. No merging. What is the new update is what it is. What is missing is gone forever. I did mention if we pay money to subscribe, then we should get a heads up to finish our projects right? I was on a dinosaur sticker set not finished. They told me to revert back to the old. I obeyed and they were wrong. It took out all my colors all my edits. I started completely over and lost it all. If you are hit the button to go back be super careful it will randomly erase everything you have done or randomly revert back to the new. Even the next day in that design, it did not stay put. It reverted back to the new updates. I have no clue now how I am gonna get that sticker outline as that is what everyone wants. I am manually creating cut lines. But, if I sold them physically, which I was gonna do, I do not know what to do.

    • @faithsbizacademy
      @faithsbizacademy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm. When I created the stickers I used the outline and because I didn’t revert to the new editor, the images work for me. I’ve also managed to get back to old projects where the shadow outlines were used and they still work.
