I can't get enough of Link's vacation/camping stories lol.. tents blowing over, The RV fail, the crazy photo killer, awkward ski trip, entering a private military base lmfaoo I love this man
I really enjoy the way Link tells stories like this. The way he gave the details and slowly reveals that the guy actually knew who he was and watched them growing up was amazing
1:18:04 … You guys have earned the right to talk about your vacations!! And I, for one, enjoy hearing about your choices and experiences with them!! Sooo vacation onwards, you earned it!! 💫
I’m a field biologist and I wear basically exactly what Link is wearing (minus the pit vipers) for work and the light sun hoodie and hat with a strap really makes a difference!
Without any of the assholery. I hope *knock on wood* Link wouldn't try to cheat on his wife. He's a goober, a klutz, and a man child, but he's no adulterer.
As soon as link started talking about accidentally driving onto a military base I immediately knew it was Bellows AFB. We used to go to that beach all the time when I lived there.
For what it’s worth, these vacation/trying new things stories are really encouraging, I think a really good influence on my mentality. Not to mention they are very fun, so thank you!
As soon as Link mentioned the angry driver pulled into the same parking lot he was headed to, I knew she was going to be his instructor. 😂 I love Link so much. 🩷
I'm returning to work in about 2 hours after my summer break (2 months+) and I've been dreading but also looking forward to getting back to work -- and then thinking am I crazy? because it's so busy? Hearing Rhett talk about getting energized by work was really reassuring. Thanks Rhett for the good energy going into my day!
Link almost wanted an open top Jeep so he could be his family's personal tour guide, until he learned how susceptible it makes him to others' road rage. Maybe it's what his driving habits need 😂❤
LINK I’m from Oahu and from your story I’m pretty sure I know where that “circle” is (small island). You had me dying with your stories !! I could listen to this all day. You boys did it again😂
Spent 4 years at K-Bay and the toll booth is the Front Gate of the base. Without a CAC, escort or some other valid reason to be on base, you would not have made it very far. K-Bay is actually a Marine Corps Air Station. Wish you could have seen it. Kailua and LaniKai are two of the best beaches on the island. Definitely the best beaches on the Windward side. Glad you had a good trip!
I felt the same as Rhett when i came back from a 2 week vacation in USA: i visited an amazing country but we're never totally comfortable. I was super happy and grateful when i arrived back to Portugal.
Link casually talking about almost running the gate at, presumably, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam... they could've literally shot him if he hadn't stopped when he did 😂
@eyeseeyou1010 I've never been to the bases there, so I'm not familiar at all, but I was Security Forces back in the day and can't imagine daytime TV star almost running my gate... TH-cam wasn't a thing till the end of my enlistment, and it wasn't anything like it is now 🤣
I was just in Oahu and also had the Malasadas from Leonard's. I went to the storefront near Honolulu instead of the truck. I had the truck last time I went and it wasn't that good. Tried the store and it was incredible. They had a Taro flavored one and it was incredible. We also would sit and watch those foilers flying around on the water and the people that were good, it looked effortless. So cool.
As a military wife who lives on military bases, Link driving up to the base has me cackling 😂. Like my guy, no lol. Honestly he probably could have just gone and gotten passes if he really wanted to lol. There are no second gates just scan your id and go lol 😂 That story is gonna be told for a while among the soldiers lol
Maladadas are Portuguese, but actually are Azorean. My dad and all four my grandparents are from there, so I’ve had a lot of them over the years. Very yummy!
Weekend brunch at Easy Que is a weekend staple for me. One of my favorite restaurants on the island. If breakfast is more your thing, try out Over Easy down the street. It’s the same people who own Easy Que
I can’t find the episode on youtube in which they discussed this, but in the 2024 time capsule video, Rhett discussed wanting to be available for emergency contact but not wanting to have his phone in the bedroom. As having worked customer service for a phone company I found the perfect solution: if his phone company offers it, he could get a dual sim linked to two phones, and just put his other simcard in a burner phone/flipphone! This way he can just keep the non-smartphone in his bedroom and still be reached through his number on there! DISCLAIMER: I’m unsure if dual sim is offered by phone company’s in the US but I know it’s a thing here in the netherlands.
This one TH-camr uses RC monster trucks and does flips and tricks. And films it close up and uses real monster truck engine sounds for the vids. And I thought wow I didn’t know these monster trucks could do this. And then found out it’s a rc monster truck haha 🤣
As someone who’s had a step dad in the military that’s literally the gate that’s it. The dude probably knew immediately that Link wasn’t supposed to be there because that guy checks the military Id’s. But yeah that’s the whole gate.
No Rhett that's not how it works at all as far as military gates. People work and live on military bases, so of course there has to be gates for them to get on and off the base. The man probably said 'ID' not drivers license bc the gate guard takes your military id and your spouses dependent ID and scans them to enter the base. Had link driven through there is likely barriers in the ground that can lift and block the rd, or at least that's what I've seen, as well as a guard shack where they likely are armed.
If you forget your ID or unintentionally drive into the gate, they usually make a report and then have you u-turn with a gate guard directing you and traffic
I met Link in Hawai’i on a hiking trail! And I can confirm that was the exact same outfit he wore when I met him 😂
I can't get enough of Link's vacation/camping stories lol.. tents blowing over, The RV fail, the crazy photo killer, awkward ski trip, entering a private military base lmfaoo I love this man
Loveable dufus 😂
Me too! 🩷
🧡

The crazy photo killer?? Which episode is that story 😭?
I really enjoy the way Link tells stories like this. The way he gave the details and slowly reveals that the guy actually knew who he was and watched them growing up was amazing
Great storyteller.
Rhett: How did you tou get through the gate?
Link: Well I told you, I drove!
Police: ....Good Mythical Morning?!?
Link: Uh, yea! 😝😜😛😜😝
For what it's worth, your vacation story episodes are likely my all time favorites! 👍
Link responding to Rhett's vacation-addiction concerns by flipping those damn shades down 🤣
1:18:04 … You guys have earned the right to talk about your vacations!! And I, for one, enjoy hearing about your choices and experiences with them!! Sooo vacation onwards, you earned it!! 💫
V
“Shitting and throwing up at the same time” has to be one of Rhett’s best quick responses. I’m crying over here
I’m a field biologist and I wear basically exactly what Link is wearing (minus the pit vipers) for work and the light sun hoodie and hat with a strap really makes a difference!
But what is your underwear policy?
@@jekanyika asking the real questions 🤭😂
where did you get the shirt from? I’m trying to find one
@@jekanyika I haven't gotten very far in the video but even if Link talks about his underwear or lack there of, you do not ask a lady that.
Very Paleontologist Chic
Link is the real life Clark Griswold
Oh, 100%.
THIS NEEDS TO BE SEEN MORE HAHAHAHAHA
Without any of the assholery. I hope *knock on wood* Link wouldn't try to cheat on his wife. He's a goober, a klutz, and a man child, but he's no adulterer.
I laughed SO hard on the plane show watching story 😂😂😂
This was an incredible episode, I love how Link tells stories, it's so much fun to listen to!
As soon as link started talking about accidentally driving onto a military base I immediately knew it was Bellows AFB. We used to go to that beach all the time when I lived there.
I was thinking the same thing. Too bad because bellows in my opinion is my favorite beach
Link is such a great storyteller
Absolutely wanna keep hearing about these vacay gone cray cray stories
Ear Biscuits slowly turning into these two men talking about what new little dad gadgets/trinkets they are currently obsessed with 😂

Link and Christy not realizing it was an rc plane right away is concerning 😆
I used to live on a military base and would drive through the security gates everyday. I’m dying listening to this story 😂
I'm a military wife who lives on military bases and I'm just laughing and cringing 😂
LINK I’m from Oahu and from your story I’m pretty sure I know where that “circle” is (small island). You had me dying with your stories !! I could listen to this all day. You boys did it again😂
EB has become nr.1 of all things to help me through effing moments, like yesterday. (And it's just entertaining in good times.) 💜
"what gave it away?" 😂😂😂
When Rhett said he was watching the windsurfers or whatever, I thought he was going to say ‘and then I realised they were RC’ 😂
I love Link so much. That's all I came here to comment lol
Oh boy... another warm episode of EB❤
i’m from hawaii OMG a podcast abt links vacation here??? count me in 😭
Your vacation stories always hit
I love their stories but especially their vacation/camping stories
Thank you for sharing your vacation experiences! I get transported there while listening. You guys are the best!
Link's outfit looks fantastic.

The fact that Link discovered going commando makes me concerned about the end of today's GMM episode 😐
lol!
This has been one of the most fun Ear Biscuits in a while! Thanks for sharing 🤩
The toilet paper made me laugh so hard cause I just watched the previous episode 😂😂
I was looking for this comment 😂
Being a military spouse living on base, Rhett and Link’s ideas about military bases was making me giggle. Homie was almost a gate runner 😂
Link is so dorky it's cute lol
My Portuguese grandma makes malasadas all the time and yes they are the best version of a donut.
After this, I just wanna go on vacation with Link🤣 Wow, this is definitely one of my new favorite podcast episodes 😂
It seems like these guys are going on vacations every other week! I'm not complaining. It's just funny!
59:10 holy crap I did not see that coming
I felt the same as Rhett when i came back from a 2 week vacation in USA: i visited an amazing country but we're never totally comfortable. I was super happy and grateful when i arrived back to Portugal.
Link casually talking about almost running the gate at, presumably, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam... they could've literally shot him if he hadn't stopped when he did 😂
Sounds like he was at K bay which Is worse lol
@eyeseeyou1010 I've never been to the bases there, so I'm not familiar at all, but I was Security Forces back in the day and can't imagine daytime TV star almost running my gate... TH-cam wasn't a thing till the end of my enlistment, and it wasn't anything like it is now 🤣
LOL Good lord I love Ear Biscuits 🤣
What’s the sun hoodie called? Definitely need one to protect my pasty self 😅

Link at 30 minutes was like, I was high, lol.
Seems like link is doing great ❤
Hahahaha this episode is soooooo good
In Portugal we call that donut/malasada “Bola de Berlim”, it’s commonly sold on the beach during the summer but you can also find it in coffee shops.
"Do I wish I was walking the dogs on the beach? A little bit. But, I'm walking them here, its fine"
I like these guys. (hugs from Portugal)
god tan link is literally just his dad 😭
The three food places I always recommend in Oahu are Libby's manapua, Leonard's malasadas, and Matsumoto's shaved ice
I freakin love Oahu, this story is so good 🤣
Going to Oahu in December. This made me even more excited!
Maladadas are Portuguese, but actually are Azorean. My dad and all four my grandparents are from there, so I’ve had a lot of them over the years. Very yummy!
8:20 I think Link is ready for retiring, not being addicted to vacation. Hahha.
Link! You need to come here to Hood River ! Where all the windsurfing happens ☺️
I live in a Military Base, we are in a 3 gated community.😁
North Shore high waves are in the winter
Glad Link tried malasadas
Tan link looks just like his father
Come to Kauai next time and say hi!!
I don’t think Link ran into a German, I think he ran into an auntie yelling at him in pidgin lol
Flip up sunglasses were HUGE in the 80s... ;P Baseball players used them a TON - outfielders specifically.
What a brand new gift!!
I love Link
The best time to go to the North Shore (especially Pipeline) for big waves is the winter. That's when they host The Eddie competition.
I saw that 2nd lesson plot twist a mile away. 😂 #freelesson😊
Weekend brunch at Easy Que is a weekend staple for me. One of my favorite restaurants on the island. If breakfast is more your thing, try out Over Easy down the street. It’s the same people who own Easy Que
Just happy to be here lol
I’m so curious to know what would have happened if the military guard didn’t recognize him lol

This is the funniest episode that I have ever seen. You guys are Krazee!! We love hearing your stories.
I can't believe you brought the dogs to Hawaii lol it's a pain in the butt to do the rabies thing, and expensive!
Oh jeez, there were absolutely signs saying you are about to enter a secure military base 🤦♀️😂😂
If Mr. Bean had a vacation to hawai 🤭🤭🤭
We went on a Jeep trip and I wore that exact outfit. Everyone else got sunburned but me ❤
This one TH-camr uses RC monster trucks and does flips and tricks. And films it close up and uses real monster truck engine sounds for the vids. And I thought wow I didn’t know these monster trucks could do this. And then found out it’s a rc monster truck haha 🤣
LOL I’ve seen those and it took me at least three vids before I realized it was RC 😅💀
Sometimes I think, Link has a wife, then he tells a story or two, "okay, she matches his freak, lmao 🤣"
Jeep….. not a sponsor….. but damn auto trader sure is 😂
As someone who’s had a step dad in the military that’s literally the gate that’s it. The dude probably knew immediately that Link wasn’t supposed to be there because that guy checks the military Id’s. But yeah that’s the whole gate.
Lol unfortunately, it happens way too often xD happened to me and my boyfriend the other week- idk what he was doing🤦♀😅
Dressed like that anti aging guy on tiktok
Awesome podcast bogs drop a like for you
You can take link out of the vacation but you can’t take the vacation out of link
I wanna see a comic book about link and the German
No Rhett, that is the only gate. The military doesn’t like smart questions
No Rhett that's not how it works at all as far as military gates. People work and live on military bases, so of course there has to be gates for them to get on and off the base. I live off post a US-Korean base in Korea, me and my active duty spouse have to go through the gate every day about five times a day
Ya they’re armed here in Hawaii. They’re usually kinda lax tho but if you go too far past, they will use force.
I'm watching while camping and I'm matching 😂 I love my sun shirts. For women lululemon sport leggings are perfect.
Love yall
link is so charles neal coded
Now that’s funny 😂 entry control
I have 2 JEEPs a 2022 wrangler and a 2023 compass I highly recommend both!
A new episode, yeeeeaaaaaasssas 🎉
I am a big fan of the sunshirt
Where is the hoodie from? Need one. Lol
Right?? Same. I burn so bad, no matter how much sunscreen I use 💀
@@k7l3rworkman97it’s also just way more practical than using up sunscreen everyday, might be even cooler temp-wise than a tshirt
If thats MCBH on Oahu, Ive done the same mistake and had the same experience (without people recognising me for my work)
Calling a shaka ‘the phone thing’ lmao
