Elvis Presley was old school belief he never changed a nobody could change this man he was born to sing a make people happy ,,,he was a very Gorgeous a spiritual man.
All Elvis had to do really,is just stand there and he looked like he was dancing,he had so much charisma and when he kissed the women in the audience you know they never forgot that moment for the rest of they're lives.
I always thought he was so kind because he would take their face in his hands before kissing them. Or use one hand at least. Made the kiss much more personal in my opinion
Loved your reaction very much Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my entire life. we met when i was 17 yrs old. our friendship lasted past that one day in time. 10 years to be exact All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. dancing and singing breaks my heart because i know he is not here anymore my mind understands but my heart never will, i saw him a few weeks before he passed we had a short conversation which i will never share again because people are so nasty and comment hurtful heart breaking things they do not know me but they still can't keep their mouths closed about things they know nothing about. I walk past Graceland everyday love from Memphis Tn.
Honest...at this point in 1973 Elvis was not the in thing. The young generation at that time totally missed greatness of the legendary man. Us Elvis fans already knew and witnessed in film and concerts just how special he was. Once we fell in love with him that was it. Now all these years later it's so special to see young people witness THE BOY WHO DARED TO ROCK! ... WE STILL LOVE YOU ELVIS!
Elvis was the largest concert attraction of the 70's. If you saw him in concert you would understand how incredible he was. Sure he didn't have a lot of hits in the 70s, but he had the most incredible catalogue of anyone and was still Elvis.
When you’ve got it, flaunt it! Best looking man, God ever put on this earth. I was lucky enough to see him in concert 3 times as a child. He NEVER disappointed!
He was perfect. Except for his one slightly crooked front tooth. Until he started having tooth problems later. Those hazel eyes were amazing. And the smile…I still miss him to this day
His eyes were hazel ladies. That’s why they looked lighter and darker blues and sometimes even a hint of green. Depending on what he was wearing, (and mood too I’ll bet). For instance the green turtleneck he wears while singing “You’re So Square”.
Elvis was amazing! Best voice and entertainer hands down. Truly loved the music and his fans. You should watch You gave me a mountain, it will blow you away. 😀
Elvis was pure class... Dressed to entertain his fans, sang the blues beautifully...love James Burton on guitar... He surrounded him self with amazing musicians and he Co trolled them with every move... Great reaction

See those scarves he was tossing to the fans? I was at a concert of Elvis’ in June 1976 in Buffalo, NY, and he tossed a scarf into the audience where to women started fighting over it. I (age 23) was sitting 5 rows back from the stage with my family and saw all this and Elvis and the band quite plainly. I loved that show 👏🏻🎤🌟❤️‼️
1.5 billion people saw this performance... he was in great shape psychically and mentally. My best friend is Danny smith he is the son of billy and jo smith , billy is elvises cousin they lived at Graceland with Elvis, they were the las5 people besides ginger Alden to see Elvis alive. They talk about Elvis all the time , they say you could feel his presence when he came in and left the room. He was truly not like everybody else...
You're killin it!! He's another of my favorites!! That wasn't alcohol he was drinking. He didn't drink. The only one allowed to drink was JD Sumner. JD convinced Elvis that he could sing better when he drank. 😂 JD had the record for the lowest note sang.
Elvis grew up 3 blocks from Beale Street in Memphis TN in a very poor neighborhood. He spent a lot of time listening to Blues, R/B and developing soul. A lot of his early music was covering those old R/B songs. He was a Black Belt Karate expert and a lot of his moved in his performance are karate moves. His outfit, worn mostly in his Last Vegas years, was designed around a Karate Gi; including the flaired leg bottoms.
He is unparalleled! Your reaction is awesome! He always took time to "visit"the audience during his numbers! He sang straight through ,but also managed to give a little kiss to anyone who wanted one (it was usually every audience member) without missing a note! In another number, he did earlier during this concert, the floral leis audience members were placing over his head while he was singing, kept getting tangled up with his microphone!,He struggled to free his mike during his song, but did so without ever missing a beat! What a pure entertainer he was! For him, his fans were the most important part of his career! He always displayed his love for them whenever he could! I enjoy watching you enjoy this soulful number, which ,as usual, came deep from Elvis' very soul! No one could do it like Elvis! He was the "real deal"! Thanks for your reaction to this awesome performance! May God bless you always!
Dude, you just made my day! Elvis was influenced by the blues and loved guys like BB King and Howling Wolf, all those cats were what inspired Elvis. Nice to see that Elvis still can move people like yourself and still be appreciated, he was the best!
This man just has something that can't be explained. Charisma, looks' voice, moves but something more. As a female I would pay a small fortune to go back in time and be in the front row. I love you doing all this Elvis now especially since he died Aug 16th 1977.
Phil Spector, "Gosh, Elvis is so great. You have no idea how great he is, really, you don't. You have absolutely no comprehension-it's absolutely impossible. I can't tell you why he's so great, but he is. He's sensational. "
oooh I keep watching your video JAMEL its great to see you so hip here.. I am a 50 years listener of Elvis, nobody can compare to his voice and looks when he was young,, But you are a youngie, so I am glad that you have posted fabulous Elvis here.. Its great to find videos like this on the net,as in other people listening to,and liking the oldie music.. well my kind of music anyway, !
shirley carr that’s not exactly true... it was hype. There’s an informative (but long) article disproving that myth: www.elvis.com.au/presley/aloha-from-hawaii-via-satellite-fact-fancy.shtml
Jack Mullins I read that article and found several factual errors in the author’s work. For instance, Elvis lost 25 lbs for this concert not 10 as he reported. I don’t even know what the purpose of the article was because the author came up with 851 million watched and there were several countries like Iran that he couldn’t even verify so it’s as close to 1 billion as u can get.
This was the Hawaii 1973 with 1 billion people watching from 36 countries around the world oh my God it was it was fabulous fabulous and he was just gorgeous he eat it when he ended the end when he threw his cape into the Audi and said his belt oh my God everybody just went completely berserk Liz the Queen
The American Eagle jumpsuit was made especially for the worldwide broadcast ( 2 were made one for the rehearsal show and live show)..because Elvis loved America and wanted his patriotism to show thru his jumpsuit! he is the only entertainer whom I know off that answered the call of duty when he was drafted in 1958! during the peak of his career-He even turned down special treatment and wanted to do the grunt work just like the other guys! never be another one like him
Elvis was always giving the ladies kisses. They WANTED him. In one clip of him racing to the safety of his limo, one of his guards said "Man, that one girl really wanted you." Elvis replied "I know it, man. I can't help it." What a problem to live with!
James Burton came out with this pastel guitar {Pink almost} Just for Aloha from Hawaii, Elvis did not see it tell the show started, James said he did not know if Elvis would like it or not, So he waited tell show time to bring it out. Well Elvis came out and saw it right away and gave James a nod and a smile, James said he felt quit releaved seeing Elvis like it to ! Elvis was just that kind of man A friend though and though
I was born in 1970 and we had a big Webster's dictionary in the house. If you ever looked up the word cool a picture of Elvis what's glued to that page by my mother
Not to mention those mutton chop sideburns. His look wasn't completely over the top in the seventies. It just had that extra Elvis touch and the man could sing anything.
This was his satellite special seen around the world over a Billion watched back in then first ever!! An it was a fundraiser for the Hawaiian people!!!! Please watch all of it he did 3 shows all were fantastic an the American Eagle jumpsuit with cape was his most famous!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰❤️❤️👑👑👑👑😍😍😍😍

Love watching your reactions this man had it all could sing anything only got 1 Grammy award for gospel imagine that 1 Grammy award are these people on heavy drugs or something makes me sick this man should own about 100 Grammy awards no voice like that today tomorrow or forever never will be another ELVIS
Possum Williams you know if someone in the band missed a note , even if the crowd couldn’t tell ,Elvis would start the song over. He wanted to give his fans the best show possible
Absolutely amazing, the depth and warmth of his singing when he sang this low down lad back blues song is awesome. You could just feel the warmth coming from his voice. He enjoyed this so much, just look at how he moves with the rhythm of the song and the rapport that he has with his band, fantastic.
Your reaction in Awesome! Elvis was The King! No one like him. Probably never will be. But, I just want to simply say, Thank You. You seem like a real, genuine guy who just Loves great music! But, just warning you, once you find Elvis, its all over. No one can resist The King for long. LOL!
Hmmm...I'm a huge Elvis fan, but even at this show, he just half-assed a very shortened version of Hound Dog. Probably because he sold his rights to all of his pre-1971 recordings for peanuts in a tragic business decision. He wasn't looking to promote the old stuff.
3:29 Love the bands reaction to Elvis' Strike, 1st-Glen D Hardins Piano slide, 2nd-Lead Guitarist James Burton hits his mark, 3rd- Ronnie Tutt on drums hits the final note. and it all comes together like boom-boom BOOM!!!
Dude, you are blessing me like you don't know how. Just watching you react to Elvis, brings tears to my eyes. Not sure why. It's like I'm reliving my own reactions as a boy listening to Elvis. My kids (28 and 30 yrs old) grew up hearing Elvis because I played his music and concert vids often when they were small. But most in your generation don't really appreciate Elvis or give him an ear. He was DEEP WATER man. We need more DEEP. Thx for giving him a listen.
Jamel, I'm so glad you liked this video 😊 the original song was recorded by James Taylor. Elvis version is my favorite tho, he was always so inclusive with his band, they were just as much a part the show as Elvis was, especially the guitarist- James Burton. Seen here, he played guitar for Elvis for most of the later elivis music if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, great reaction. Hope to see more 😊 God bless you and yours 🙏
Yep, James Burton was one of the greats. He was part of The Wrecking Crew- the best studio musicians around. "From Dallas, Texas- Hard-working Ronnie Tutt" was a phenomenal drummer as well.
TOMORROW MAKES 41 OR 42 YRS SINCE ELVIS DIED. 😭😢😭 I’m getting nostalgic over a time period I wasn’t even born yet. Back when music was pure talent. No auto tune. Thank you so much for posting this.
That's James Burton on the guitar (1968 Telecaster) - because of him and this show I picked up the 20th Anniversary '68 Telecaster in the same pink paisley (winter of 87). I was honored and thrilled to meet and chat with him around 2010/2011 in Niagara Falls Ontario.
I love watching your reactions because you. Let the music play without interrupting the video, thus allowing the viewer to enjoy the video right along with you.
At his death of only 42 he weighed 159 kilograms which is 350 pounds. He was supposedly on a diet at the time. At 32 he weighed only 165 lbs. Dude was in one hell of a funk for 10 years.
"I'm a steamroller baby, guaranteed to blow your mind"...EVERYTIME!!! Elvis was, is, and forever will be!!! P.S., Whitney's mama Sissy Houston w/The Sweet Inspirations, on the backup "yea's".
I saw Elvis at the Forum in LA at around this time (early 70's). A friend of mine's girlfriends dad was a vice president of ARCO who owned the Forum at that time. He had his own reserved box and only used it for Lakers games. We got to use the box for all the rock concerts. So when my friend asked me if I wanted some free tickets to see Elvis I jumped at the chance. I figure you only get to see a legend once. He performed this song at the concert and I was kind of surprised since it was off a James Taylor album. It was a great show and sadly he passed away a few years later. I was born in the early fifties and grew up with my ear to the AM radio and my earliest childhood memories are of Elvis rocking out on songs like Jailhouse Rock. What a true legend and we lost him too soon. Glad you're keeping his music alive and I envy you hearing these songs for the first time! I've heard them thousands of times over the years and they are TIMELESS!!!
Elvis always let everyone have a piece of the spotlight, whether it was the Sweet Inspirations - who Whitney Houston's mother was a member of and with Elvis, for a time, to JD Sumner and the Stamps when JD was recognized as the lowest bass singer in the world. While playing that lead guitar is James Burton, among one of the finest guitarists ever. With the other musicians being excellent, as well. So no doubt, when you saw the Elvis Presley show, it's not a stretch at all to say - that in all likelihood - you're seeing or saw the greatest collection of ensemble talent on one stage that there ever was. Elvis was also born into poverty and no doubt struggled mightily until becoming the world's first major superstar @ 21. But when one considers his looks, charisma, musicianship and voice, I don't know that one could be blessed with more. Though he paid an awful price for a fame, at that point, that no one else had ever experienced, let alone at such a young age.
I'm so glad I clicked on this!! It absolutely brought tears to my eyes. When he passed away I called my mom, told her the news, and there was silence for a long time on that phone. When I heard her sniffle, I just lost it - then she did. I have tears in my eyes just writing this. He was THE man - he touch every culture there is on God's green earth.
Elvis Was The Main Man 👨! I’m Sure The Elder Elvis Fans Will Never Forget Him As Well As The Younger Ones!
Our gift from God, Elvis Presley. Thank you Heavenly Father, Please open the world's eyes to the truth.🙏

You mean 42 yeas later.
42. I was born the day he died. Aug 16, 1977.
I think she meant 46 years from the date of this actual performance, not of his death. This concert was in February 1973.
Does it matter 42 or 46 years I laugh at how People get into silly arguments that prove nothing lol

It's awesome to see another find new Elvis music and enjoy like you do. Brings tears to my eyes. I've loved Elvis since at least the mid 60s
Thx Jamal your awesome love watching your reactions you seem so real and honest that’s what the world is missing keep it buddy
Thank👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Elvis just brings a smile to my face ! Love this song !!
Great reaction and the King never goes wrong, do Polk salad annie 1970
TOMORROW MAKES 41 OR 42 YRS SINCE ELVIS DIED. 😭😢😭
I’m getting nostalgic over a time period I wasn’t even born yet.
Love my Elvis
I love watching your reactions because you. Let the music play without interrupting the video, thus allowing the viewer to enjoy the video right along with you.
I know a lot of people pause for copyright issues but I just can’t do it🤷🏾♂️
Can't think of anyone I'd rather be rolled over by! Oh yeah! 🥰😍🤩
Me too
Lol!!!!!! :)
All 400 lbs lol
@@burnjburn, sorry but he only got up to around 210 and at his worst, he had more appeal in his little finger than most men do in their prime!
👍🏾
Imagine driving down the road and this song comes over your AM or FM radio…Why wouldn’t that be a hit???
I wonder if Tim Foust (Home Free) Geoff Castelluci(Voice Play) are lower than JD. Tim and Geoff can both hit B0.
Elvis did it big, for sure! Love your reaction to this one too!
Thank you🙏🏾
I'm so glad I clicked on this!!
I love all your videos bro definitely with Elvis
The last video you said it was like being in church. Now. The blues. I told you. ELVIS could sing anything
I grew up in the 70's. I had a large velvet-Elvis that had him in this costume on it. Man I wish I still had it. RIP King.
