I full agree with you but SA hasn't done enough to identify talented foreigners look for example usa and Europe......They identified, vetted, registered those foreigners eg. Asians Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladesh etc own hotel chains in return more tax to the government, Chinese are buying properties and investing in technology again more tax revenue and skills share, Nigerians and other Africans involved in literature, acting , technology, athletics etc President of WTO or World Trade organisation is a Nigerian lady. Google recently hired a VP from Zimbabwe, look at Teevor Noah they contributing to American wealth, African footballers playin for European nations trust me yea cultures at times when they are mixed theres tension but if utilised properly SA will win big time look at the doctor who discoverd the best treatment for covid a guy from South Sudan who came as a refuge in SA adopted by white people they recognised his talent they nurtured look at the contribution hes made in SA. In Europe there are initiatives that identify talent from other countries and they incorporate that to their economy.
SA should vet everyone from the point of entry ( thus finger prints, Picture taken, thus done to reduce criminality by foreigners) it's not like SA cant do it like there are biometric machines whereby everyone has to be identified and when you want to access public amenities like clinic you show proof.
To fight foreigners head on will chase away investors look at Americans coming wanting to invest but if they the Durban July 2021 incident they think twice.
Again I say this SA can do it yea.
