Yet again people with serious mental disorders never really see themselves as being wrong with anything. We need to learn about mental health in a more in-depth manner. It doesn’t only mean depression and anxiety but there are more disorders like PTHD ,borderline Personality disorder or histrionic disorder. They will deny it till they die cause that’s all they know. Even if they knew they would never blatantly admit it.
My suspicions about Kelly stem from exactly what Sol just said. I haven’t heard her at any point publicly speak about the desire for justice to be served. Not once even seem the slightest heartbroken. That is VERY strange for someone that was in a relationship with the deceased. I totally understand what Mac G is saying about her energy being off. I don’t need to be in the same room as her to agree with that. Something’s off there.

Either the child is given too much attention or not enough. This leaves a large void as they enter adulthood. Their never-satisfied “taker” stance becomes the perfect magnet for the unknowing “giver” personality. Narcissists will attempt to find someone who will give them the attention they either had or lacked as children, putting others at an emotional deficit. Narcissists will exhibit these five signs: 1. False Humility This is actually a form of pride but will be shown in a self-deprecating way. Narcissists will play the victim and put themselves down so that they bait you into complimenting them. They will say they are doing things because they want to, but they are approval-seeking. They are concerned about themselves and are not truly humble. They wil often boast about what they claim they did for others, using Nota as a case study, e.g. what i did for women, what i did for Fiesta Black, for Kwesta etc...compare and contrast with how Mac goes about it. 2. They are not able to dialogue but deflect blame onto others for their reactions. They attempt to cover their anger by pretending things don’t bother them, yet their nonverbal body language shows anger even though they don’t admit it. They can become passive-aggressive in their responses and not follow through with actions. 4. Simplification of Others’ Needs Narcissists will minimize the needs of the people around them. They will not explore the details of a particular situation because they don’t deem it worthy of their time. They will label people and deflect blame onto them instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. They reduce complex issues to simple ones in order to brush them aside as stupid or useless. They don’t want to be bothered with facts or logic, only their own limited scope of what is important so as not to invest their time or energy in anything contrary to their personal agenda. 5. Unable to Listen (classic Nota-if you watch any of his interviews-if the allocated time is 1hr, he ll speak for 50mins) Narcissists tend to “shoot from the hip” with quick advice and not ask questions during conversations, but instead shut down dialogue so they do the minimum amount. They do not want to expend any energy toward relationships. They don’t care about what you have to say because they want to follow what is best for them regardless of what you are sharing. In the end, they don’t care enough to listen to you. Obviously, not all quiet or shy people are covert narcissists. But keep these signs in mind. Covert narcissists are not as benign as they seem and can cause you much distress. So so true..just broke up from a relo with a narcissist...I was going ctazy...evrythn he needs to verify...to a point where he would buy himself clothes and post as if some1 bought thm for him...like a special person while his single. Evry1 from his past was labelled as bad...that was the 1st red flag, always wanna be better than me, even wen u see his lost...he wants compliments. I did 3 sessions of therapy thinkin im not being supportive until my therapist told me im okay I should just let go....and block him and let go. That help me to move on. Caz he kept coming and going.

After a couple of years being a chiller I’ve adopted Mac’s tendencies of brushing off hate and anything negative. He literally doesn’t dwell much on hatred and finds humour in everything. I personally believe not dwelling in the negative actually attracts positive things to you. Be it news, luck, energy whatever the case. My point is, be positive, attract positive vibes and just don’t dwell too much on the negative.

As much as i see the personal issues mentioned about nota, i feel the mature thing to do is for the guys to make the effort reach out to him privately and try help him, as appose to "cancel him". It would be really sad to see such a potent mind go to waist. As a person who consumes a lot of podcast, nota has provided a lot of value and perspective which i think is very needed, his style is very abrasive, i feel like if that can be ironed out, he can continue to provide a lot value to the space.

Nota is well read and articulate, but I don't understand why people stay calling him smart or even a genius. That he reads a lot, is not in doubt, however that doesn't make him a genius. It's obvious he picks up some of his talking points from various platforms, but some of the arguments he advances are just straight up whack! He tried to justify slavery, by saying, even Africans owned slaves. Only racists (opposed to reparations or accountability) use that argument. Fact is, Africans had a system of SERVITITUDE. This wasn't the same as the brutal system of CHATTEL SLAVERY, perpetuated by Europeans in the Caribbean and the Americas, where Africans were worked to death, female slaves were raped and forced to breed with even their sons so that they could produce super slaves (those NBA players are huge for reason). Sundiata Keita of the Mali Empire, actually came back from exile and overthrew his brother, because his brother was oppressing the people especially slaves! When he became King he enacted a new constitution of which Article 20 stipulated, "slaves" must be treated well; work from 9 - 5, 6 days a week and they must have one day of rest. I knew there was a big problem when he made some unsavoury comments about his own mother and mothers in general. He's also taken up acting as if the boy child is a victim, because of the "men are trash" slogan, as if Black rappers have not been calling Black women bitches and hoes, and sexualising them in videos for all the world to see. On the issue of mothers, he said, mothers naturally hate their children because they can always give birth again, and then he went on to say , 70% of South African children are growing up in single parent homes...I mean who is heading these homes if not women? I was so done with him, I didn't even bother to watch that episode where he talked shyt about Mihlali. It kept on coming up on my feed, but my spirit said no. Now I know why. Indaba yamaslay queens and blessers is problematic, but there's no need to advocate violence. Femicide is too rampant in Mzansi for someone to make such an inflammatory comment. Also, why target the women only? The men who perpetuate these culture also need to be held accountable. Nota has a few mental health issues, he needs to go into therapy and sort things out, period.

As much as i see the personal issues mentioned about nota, i feel the mature thing to do is for the guys to make the effort reach out to him privately and try help him, as appose to "cancel him". It would be really sad to see such a potent mind go to waist. As a person who consumes a lot of podcast, nota has provided a lot of value and perspective which i think is very needed, his style is very abrasive, i feel like if that can be ironed out, he can continue to provide a lot value to the space.
MacG is worried about him as a friend and Sol is already pissed him for what he did which is understandable.

Nota is well read and articulate, but I don't understand why people stay calling him smart or even a genius. That he reads a lot, is not in doubt, however that doesn't make him a genius. It's obvious he picks up some of his talking points from various platforms, but some of the arguments he advances are just straight up whack!
He tried to justify slavery, by saying, even Africans owned slaves. Only racists (opposed to reparations or accountability) use that argument. Fact is, Africans had a system of SERVITITUDE. This wasn't the same as the brutal system of CHATTEL SLAVERY, perpetuated by Europeans in the Caribbean and the Americas, where Africans were worked to death, female slaves were raped and forced to breed with even their sons so that they could produce super slaves (those NBA players are huge for reason). Sundiata Keita of the Mali Empire, actually came back from exile and overthrew his brother, because his brother was oppressing the people especially slaves! When he became King he enacted a new constitution of which Article 20 stipulated, "slaves" must be treated well; work from 9 - 5, 6 days a week and they must have one day of rest.
I knew there was a big problem when he made some unsavoury comments about his own mother and mothers in general. He's also taken up acting as if the boy child is a victim, because of the "men are trash" slogan, as if Black rappers have not been calling Black women bitches and hoes, and sexualising them in videos for all the world to see.
On the issue of mothers, he said, mothers naturally hate their children because they can always give birth again, and then he went on to say , 70% of South African children are growing up in single parent homes...I mean who is heading these homes if not women?
I was so done with him, I didn't even bother to watch that episode where he talked shyt about Mihlali. It kept on coming up on my feed, but my spirit said no. Now I know why.
Indaba yamaslay queens and blessers is problematic, but there's no need to advocate violence. Femicide is too rampant in Mzansi for someone to make such an inflammatory comment. Also, why target the women only? The men who perpetuate these culture also need to be held accountable.
Nota has a few mental health issues, he needs to go into therapy and sort things out, period.
