In scriptures lord shiva is said to be white and lord Vishnu as blue in colour.

Nobody is portrayed in any colour as far as scriptures go... and yes krishna was black not blue.
Due to stereotypical worship, his blue version became popular. Same case for shiva too
@@Rohit_2694 Shiva is known as karpur gauram.. bcz he applies ashes all over his body..he is of all color..everything belongs to him..same goes for krishna..and krishna wasn't totally black in krishna roopa..they call him shyam sundar..they've mentioned tht krishna's complexion was tht of the end of day and beginning of night,hence his name is shyam sundar.

And i didnt talk about putting ashes or not in Shiva's body, Shiva is black and he applies ashes on his body for symbolising vairagya and death. Ofc but shiva and krishna both are black.

White as camphor reference - Actually Shiva (Adiyogi) had white shinning skin, but it was always covered with ashes so it looks dark and during night it's bluish dark
