That's not completely right. (Partially may be it is true) Most temple situated in mountains are actually Shiva Temple as shiva live in mountains. Otherwise you will find a lot temples in plain.

I have this very important memory and experience of this particular song. It was released close to midnight and I was young and travelling for the first time alone for a long distance. Unfortunately, my brother forgot the date I was arriving and went to another city. The bus dropped in the middle of the road at 4 am at night from where I had to travel on foot for a few kms to reach civilization. And it was also the middle of winter. I wouldn't lie and say that I wasn't scared because I was close to shutting my pants but suddenly this song showed up in my TH-cam playlist as it was released a couple of hours ago and listening to this one song on repeat gave me so much courage and help. But, the flood couldn’t touch the temple … a huge bolder fell and landed right behind the temple- diverting the flood water to the sides. This is a miracle. No body know how and where this huge boulder fell from and it landed right behind the temple in such a way that the temple was not harmed !! Another important pilgrim site for Shiva is in Nepal - the Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu. The 2015 earthquake destroyed thousands of homes in and around Kathmandu; including homes in the Pashupatinath temple area but not a brick moved in the temple despite the fact that the temple itself is hundreds of years old !! Its a dream of every hindu to be there once in a life but the terrain does not allow everyone. It remains open for 3-4 months for visitors and closed for 9 months due to excessive snowfall. Ive been to there and it was 22 km of trek, I took 10 hours for a round journey ( 44 kms total up and down). Altitude is almost 3600 m from sea.. this is extremely beautiful place to be.. feels like heaven

Everything in Kedarnath was decimated. People say it was lord Shiva"s rage which resulted in such destruction. Only Kedarnath temple was untouched by this clamity. Temple was saved by a huge one piece rock which came along flash floods but settled exactly behind temple diverting floods on either side of the temple saving hundreds of devoted trapped inside temple.

This movie is based on real event that happened in 2013. The event is real - the story is fictional. The great flood that took a lot of lives and destroyed properties. But, the flood couldn’t touch the temple … a huge bolder fell and landed right behind the temple- diverting the flood water to the sides. This is a miracle. No body know how and where this huge boulder fell from and it landed right behind the temple in such a way that the temple was not harmed !!
Another important pilgrim site for Shiva is in Nepal - the Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu.
The 2015 earthquake destroyed thousands of homes in and around Kathmandu; including homes in the Pashupatinath temple area but not a brick moved in the temple despite the fact that the temple itself is hundreds of years old !!

This song is from the movie Kedarnath. It was based on the Kedarnath flood of 16 June 2013. This boy is a porter who takes pilgrims to Kedarnath on his back. The shop from which he steals food items and gives them to the woman belongs to her.
When the flood hit Kedarnath on 16 June 2013, thousands of people died and before the temple could be damaged in that flood, a huge rock came between the river water and the temple, which saved the temple.

Kedarnath is one of the 4 holiest sites of Hinduism in UTTARAKHAND state of india, uttrakhand is known as DEVBHOOMI dev means God bhoomi means land means god's own land because it is one of the key place of Hinduism many holy books of Hinduism written here it is termed as heaven in many holy books written by god's in ancient times....there are thousands of temples in uttrakhand state dated back thousands of years ago must visit
Its a dream of every hindu to be there once in a life but the terrain does not allow everyone. It remains open for 3-4 months for visitors and closed for 9 months due to excessive snowfall. Ive been to there and it was 22 km of trek, I took 10 hours for a round journey ( 44 kms total up and down). Altitude is almost 3600 m from sea.. this is extremely beautiful place to be.. feels like heaven
