Did Mauricio actually watch any of the Argentine games in this last World Cup? If he did, he wouldn’t play Enzo as a 10.
The man is a deep laying midfielder, a real 6. That’s where he was excellent. Yes he has too much techniques and he can pass the ball perfectly forward. But that’s no his position.
With a forward like Jackson, you need your flanks functioning and you need Enzo and caicedo in the middle FLAT.
My small football brain can diffuse that in 2 mins, so I can’t understand how Mauricio has a hard time UNDERSTANDING that.
Yes he’s young, he’s box to box, he’s good on the ball, but please stop scapegoating the kid. Marco veratti is a 6, he’s good on the ball but that doesn’t mean he is a 10.
The problem with Chelsea is their coaches. They bring a good coach, and for whatever reason they turn into SHIT COACHES. They start tinkering, they start playing like the club only has 13 players, Chelsea football club has like 30 solid players, 5 to choose from in ALL POSITIONS.
What makes you a good coach is understanding how your players play!! Pochettion has tried Enzo on that position twice and he sees that Enzo is not doing well there, so why keep playing him on the position?
Sterling is the problem, the boy should play more with the team, understand that he doesn't know how to dribble rivals and pass the ball, in most of Chelsea's games, he always wants to make a little extra play than ends up breaking the team's momentum.
so Caicedo is a flop and now Enzo is the problem 😅😅😅 our issue right now is the attack of course long term we need Enzo to contribute goals but that's a problem for later on

Enzo isn't meant to maintain any position, not because he isn't able to (he literally won a world cup as the main man in midfield playing out of position as a dm), but because he is too good otb to not be involved. 10s of times per game he is available in final third and players instead of passing him the ball choose to waffle on their own and be wasteful. Stop shifting blame to Enzo, when players around him aren't on his level. Enzo is a free role midfielder, an 8, a 10, that's irrelevant, he is all at the same time, should be allowed to get involved in every phase as the n1 priority to pass to unless a clear path to goal has opened, and the rest should learn to shift around him, if they can't then he should move to a better club that is up to par.
Maybe it's time Chelsea fans start blaming bums instead of those who are trying to do the carryjob.
When you watch the entire video he is not the problem the areas where he is deployed by the coach is creating problems
@@talkfootballty2025Not true, maybe it's nost solving as much as possible, or it's not getting the best of Enzo, that I agree cause I already said Enzo is a free role midfielder, never fixed to 1 position, and maximizing him should be n1 priority.
But no other player is playing better than him in that squad, even were Poch has been using him the most. Stats back this up, and the eye test as well, especially if you take not of how much his team mates ignore him in final third cause tunnel vision, they force direct play when their best player otb by a country mile is right besides them available with space.
If you are claiming this because of the game vs Bournemouth that's quite cringe since he was playing 3 days post visiting Bolivia, the most taxing game a pro footballer can play in the world. And even in that game, he wasn't even used the same way he was used vs Luton and Forest.
