im not sure this ling even wanted to win, they were wayyyy to afraid to do any attacks - she definitely cant wait forever, especially if she only backdashes and never sidesteps or interrupts.
So what I’ve understood is that this ling waits patiently making you to close the distance. The whole 3 rounds she was waiting patiently for whiff punishes and counter attack lows when I try to close the distance. At 0 range she can be really troublesome to deal with all the high crushing moves and back turn mixups. Also she completely chose to not block lows as steve’s lows arent that heavy hitting. I had to make sure to rely on pokes at the same time keep distance & not go too aggressive which is a gamplay style I’m not overly too fond off !
