      Its on the pixinsight forum page... it should come in a Google search... it was taken over a few months ago when the original developer stopped support after 1.82...
      I'm thrilled to announce that I have taken over the maintenance and distribution of the EZ Processing Suite, originally created by S. Dimant. This suite is an essential tool for PixInsight users, and I'm committed to ensuring its continued availability and community driven improvement.

    Hi, Walt. I’m new to astrophotography and found this video to be extraordinarily helpful in (finally) processing my first image in Pixinsight. I had the program opened in one screen and your video in another. I appreciated the organization of the video and the fact that the level of detail you provided was just right for my needs. I took copious notes regarding your workflow which I know they will be indispensable in future image processing. Really well done. Thank you.

    Bro! this video is wayyy better than your other one from last year. I've only been doing this less than 2 months and I've just created some amazing pictures with only 2 hr integration. Thanks for the tutorial. RC astro add ins are 100% worth it and essential for quality images.

    I'm just getting started in astrophotography at 67 yrs old. I have been watching a few tutorials but this has been the best to date! And your pre-made icons are great too and gives a good sense of the process simply by ordering the icons! Now that I've watched, I need to try myself!

    Walt, would you consider, sometime, perhaps doing an absolute basics on how to use the various tools in photoshop (albeit I use Affinity Photo) for astrophotography. I know (because I've watched them all) you've done processing video after processing video but, for some reason, I just cannot get my head around masks and how to get rid of 'blemishes' and various other tools usage. I've looked for tutorials (particularly for Affinity but also Photoshop) but, for instance, when someone does Affinity, they speak as if the viewer already knows Photoshop and they skip or gloss over what they're doing and how it works. Or, if they're talking Photoshop, once again, they expect the viewer to have a certain knowledge of basic processing. Then, if I look for basic processing, I don't see tutorials which cover the masking and other elements in the way they'd be used with astro. I know this might not interest you to do but it might. I'm sure there are a lot of guys like me out there who just can't get the hang of processing because they find it difficult to follow when to use what and why etc. Pixinisight is something I'll never buy (or Photoshop). I'm retired and just don't have that constant income. Cheers.

    I'm curious. It looks like you don't use drizzle or dither, nor do you seem to use GraXpert. And you don't do your stacking in PI. Could you help us understand why you've made these choices? I'm just getting started and I don't know what is useful or not, but each of these tools seem to be well recommended in other videos I've seen, so I'd love to hear your insight. Thanks!

    I have just bought a C11 XLT
    I don't know which back focus to use, on the networks they talk about 105 or 146 mm. I have a ZWO183 MC PRO camera.

    Hey Walt! I’m just beginning this hobby and wonder which is easiest to learn and use; Photoshop, Pixinsight, or Siril?

    • @deltaastrophotography
      @deltaastrophotography  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This can be a complicated answer. In my opinion, whether you go with Pixinsight or Siril, you should learn Photoshop as well. Or at least a similar alternative. Learning Photoshop teaches basic photo editing skills that you always want in your back pocket. That being said, I prefer Pixinsight over Siril. Siril seems easier at first, but once you get into some advanced editing techniques, PixInsight just has way many more options that do a complex task at the push of a single button. There is a large PixInsight community that is always making new scripts, plugins, and Pixel math expressions to make your life easier.

    Isn’t it possible to have the icons already in place when starting Pixinsight? And Also How do you custom save a Icon List or Edit the one you have available ? I found out how to edit list and make your own, Just go to View/Tool Bars/ Process Icons and click on process icons it places a list of options on the tool bar to edit or create your own. Just make your Icons you want then drag a box around them and pick Save Process Icons. Not sure about Loading when Plexinsight loads..
