We love the Luxor. We go to Vegas at least 4 times a year. We like staying at that end of the strip. Our host is at Luxor. We are actually flying out Christmas night staying at the Penthouse at Delano. Love your videos. We found you while looking at a trip to Atlantic City
Luxor was always our go-to home away from home every January for my wife's annual birthday trip. We're certainly blessed to be able to stay anywhere we like, but we have a habit of getting stuck when we like something. Properties like Bellagio, Palazzo, Venetian etc., were just a little too hoity toity for our tastes. Our last stay was actually January 2020, right before the pandemic kicked off. We'd actually made up our minds that we were going to start going somewhere else because people wer just bringing the whole house with them; between the kids/strollers everywhere, and the dogs - from poodles to Rottweilers, people had their dogs all in the casino and everywhere you turned. It just started to feel like anywhere else. Great video!
Thank you for sharing your experience! Yea some resorts def seem to cater to families more than others. Did you ever try Atlantic City. I’m here now it’s awesome 🤩
Diablo’s is good if you like Mexican. Pyramid Cafe is good for breakfast and they have a deli in the back of the Luxor that has a great Philly cheesesteak.
Have stayed in the Tower suite. Comfortable room with plenty of room to move around. Plenty of other properties and attractions within easy walking distance of the Luxor. Decently priced place to stay
Were staying at the Luxor in September. Never stayed at the Luxor before and really looking forward to it. Great to watch reviews like yours as you cover all things visitors may need to know so thank you.
Hey Jennifer , nice to see you back in Vegas. Looking forward to all your videos from there. We are headed there the week of Thanksgiving for my 50th. Super excited , staying in a Tower Spa Suite at MGM Grand. Have fun 👍
I've stayed in Vegas many times, mainly downtown. I'm thinking about staying at the luxor for upcoming trip in April. How is the parking situation? Fee? Will the pools be open in April? I've only been during the summer months. Any help info is much appreciated 😊
Hello! Yes the pools should be open they start to open in March. I’m not sure about parking. There is a fee daily unless you have a certain MGM tier level
I’m staying in Luxor tonight. Be careful….got stuck in elevator. Had to call 911 which had a hard time hearing our call. Panic and anxiety attacks were happening ! 13 people on the elevator. Everyone hot and scared. Fire and rescue came after what seemed to be forever! All they wanted to do was comp the resort fees. However, I refused to get on that elevator to go back to the 6th floor as did my family. Keep in mind we are all here for my daughters wedding. They did finally find rooms available on the first floor. I’m still having issues breathing from my heart racing. The rooms aren’t that nice. Their word of advice was don’t put that many people on an elevator because these elevators are from 1993 and people get stuck in them often. However there are no signs outside the elevator that says anything about number of people on the elevator. I did try to get off the elevator when more people were getting on and door closed before I could do so. Pay more people…go somewhere that doesn’t have faulty elevators from 1993 as stated by front desk worker. It has ruined our trip.
You've explained that capacity was a problem It isn't the Luxor "s responsibility to respond to an emergency . That belongs to emergency rescue . You were given a comped room on the first floor. It's the Luxor s responsibility to insure that you have a comfortable stay They are not responsible for your anxieties That's it !
Same thing happened to me 2 years ago, had nothing to do with capacity. There were only 4 of us in the elevator. They comped resort fees and $300 in food and drink credit.
Did you do the $20 trick? I’ve never tried it here but would be surprised if it worked here it’s never worked for me whilst staying at mgm properties! I love the Luxor
Hello! I personally don’t do that. I ask for a upgrade if they don’t have a comp one I ask if they have a upgrade for a good rate. I do all of this with a tip in my hand if they can help me then I tip them. I feel awkward tipping ahead of time .
Already subscribed and first to hit the like button. Luxor is MGM??? I always thought it was part of Circus-Circus. Don't want to stay at the Luxor. Many people died during the construction. I like dark rooms. Double sinks are good. Excalibur at least used to be nice. Not a pool person. Are there many homeless at that part of Las Vegas Blvd. Blueberry Hill is a good restaurant and breakfast is served 24-hours a day. There are four Blueberry Hill restaurants in Las Vegas. One is near Nellis Air Force Base. Others are on Flamingo Rd. Not a fan of Starbucks. Action in casinos usually start at 2300 hours. Don't drive in Las Vegas. Jerry's Nugget has a good restaurant and it's open 24-hours a day. Better luck to you in casinos.
Thank you for sharing your experiences Harlan! Yes Luxor is MGM that whole neighborhood is now.. well except for Tropicana. Fun resort with a lot of eye candy to see and action I just didn’t personally love it. Thanks for hanging with me 😊
Thanks for the video, it’s nice to see the Luxor again. My husband asked me to marry him there way back in 1995 and I can still pick out the room. There was no towers then just a pyramid thank you it’s really really nice to see.💞🛳️⚓️🦩💞 hi
I am staying in the Luxor right now and it has been nothing but outstanding....very clean and very fun!!I In town to party during the Super Bowl.
Thanks for sharing! Have a great time!

Thank you! Sounds fun! MGM is awesome! 😊 Here for 3 weeks going to have lots more Vegas material soon!
The reason the pools are closed is because they probably only had one life guard on duty as well as engineering to run equipment saves money.
@@randymacsgarageit's getting to that time of the year when pools will be on a different schedule according to the temperature
i be there 6 times i like the luxor

Help! Want to know if paying the extra to stay in the Tower is worth it?? Going in a week and a half 14:30
nope its a dump too!
Speak with a concierge about a rewards card
There are many deductions including
a waived resort fee
How are the bed bugs?
I didn’t have any problem there
