As a born and raised in Coney Island, you broke my heart!😂 Rockaway beach it’s cleaner yes, but you just don’t get as much fun experience. I don’t know how old you are but ever since they took away Rockaway play land . Back in the mid 80s it hasn’t been the same and I personally think it’s Coney Island inferior but you’re entitled, entitled to your opinion.

I go like once every year or 2 years because there is so muc to see and always new things to do. :) Went last year and going back next may with my nephew. It will be his first time doing a trip out of Canada. Can't wait to show him cool places :)
WOW! Great guide! Excellent description of the 9/11 museum and memorial pools. Definitely an emotional experience and a place to be respected. I’ll note that it can take a bit of time to go through, yet worth it. I’ll also suggest taking a tour with a guide vs. a self guided tour. Very well done! It’s guides like this and your past content that keeps me suggesting you to others to watch, follow and like.

I have mixed feelings with the food chains advice: I totally agree, there are thousands of local restaurants that are absolutely amazing… but the food chains are not in every city in the world, we don’t have Chipotle in Mexico and I absolutely love it. I don’t eat Chipotle the whole week of my trip but I try to eat it if possible.
I believe the food chains are for those who don't live in the US. For those of us who live here, we would 't dare go to a chain restaurant when in NYC.

The Museum of Sex on 5th Ave is jaw dropping. You MUST be aware of its graphic nature and obviously not for everyone. It is very well done in classic museum format.

Hey. Could you do a video about how sales taxes work in NYC? Trying to find out how much tax is added, if tax is added, etc. is difficult to research when you come from a country where tax is included in prices for everything

Jon’s channel was my top resource during my first trip to NYC this past summer. His advice helped me navigate the subway with no issues.

I almost never have CASH, I used debit and credit cards, we have 4 days in NY coming up next week. Bring cash or can we do everything with plastic?
most places take card, a few dumpling shops/$1 pizza/old school pizza spots won't.. and some bodega/delis will have a $5 minimum for CC.
