Hello Steve; XTC's Mummer & Big Express, decent LP's. Paul Kossoff Back Street Crawler, the LP that became a band, excellent solo debut. Ian Gillan Band, solo career following his Purple days. Gary Moore Pre Blues era. Jimi Hendrix Radio One, good on air performances. The Byrds classic debut Mr. Tambourine Man. Deep Purple jamming live Stockholm. Soft Machine 4, the last with Robert before his accident. Be Well, Take care, Tina & Pat!~

Good haul. I love IGB version of Child In Time which is on LP before Clear Air. I’ve decided after a recent purchase (hot buttered soul) that Isaac Hayes is just a bit shite.
I have bought considerably less this year. Possibly only 30 LPs in the last 12 months. I’m enjoying playing what I’ve got
    Cheers my friend, Chris

Evening Steve. I really like both Mummer and The Big Express, definitely albums that didn't deserve to flop as harshly as they did. I saw Terry Chambers' EXTC at an eighties festival in Shrewsbury over the summer, and they were bloody great. I find it really ironic that out of all of them, Terry is the one who's carrying it on. Apparently he left XTC during the Mummer sessions just by suddenly getting up from his drums, saying 'sorry lads, this is crap', and walking out - leaving his kit behind. He emigrated shortly after. Keep meaning to revisit The Scorps. I recently picked up the first MSG record finally. I've got a feeling I used to have that Hendrix Radio One album on CD. Cheers.

What a year Steve.... Me too I've seriously cut down on purchases and plan to do similar next year. Don't think I've ever heard soft machine. I like Gary Moore Still got the blues I think it's a corker of an album and features my distant (ish) relative on bass who was in Blodwyn Pig. Over the hills and far away I think I've been nightwish'd into their version of it over the years. Have a good weekend whatever you get up to.
