Greetings from Colombia lad, two weeks after getting my Max G2, i fell and I now have a hideous scar on my left hip, It's made me a more cautious rider
@@RikanBeastly it was my fault, I was turning a corner at full speed and I hit a sort of a ramp so the wheels came off the ground and I landed on my hip and elbow, I ripped two layers of skin off my hip and ruined my clothes, thankfully I was wearing a motorbike helmet otherwise I would've scratched my face too, it was my first time riding an electric scooter and I learned to be cautious the hard way
@@krisp0114 that's the negatives of scooters, people who never rode a bike or even know basic concepts of riding sth similar can just buy a scooter because its fun and easily accessible, but then they go for +30km/h thinking its a toy.... Dont want to shit talk you, sorry that it happened and i know it sucks, my close friend crashed not long ago because driver wanted to be faster and not stop to let them pass so they could drive away, but gopro caught them and they got fined ,anyways, your thing was very big rookie mistake that you should've learned in any basic video on how to ride scooters. Always slow down whenever you're going to bump into sth. ESPECIALLY if you're not used to riding scooters on turns. Turning on open road/sidewalk is super easy, doing micro turns is very very different thing. My pro tip i learned , handle the turning with your legs like scateboard, meaning one stabilizing leg infront and another sideways, then when you turn just lean that back foot forwards/backwards for left/right while maintaining vision what's infront of you way ahead rather than just infront of few meters.
I hit 1700 miles on my G2 and still no accidents. Ive hit some insane stuff but what this dude went through, reminds me of what my Hiboy used to get me into. But G2 has been good to me. Traction control (TCS) is good to have on as well, its actually useful since the update. I ride my G2 from coney island to uptown manhattan everyday… call me crazy but sometimes i see big ass holes pop up overnight almost as if some dude came by with a jackhammer and had nothing to do so he drilled a random hole for me to run over on my way back from the city lol
Thays exactly how I feel with the holes it's like damn yall that bored 😆 🤣 Question have you updated your g2 to the most recent update? If you did what do you think of it
Exactly!! Those are the ones you have to be on the lookout for that were not there the night before, then suddenly appear the next evening on your way home, ready to swallow you up😊 Some of these potholes and sinkholes seem to be prejudiced against scooters😊 It is frightening how they suddenly pop up when you least expect them. I rely heavily on the bright lights on my scooter or bike, depending on which one I am using,to illuminate the road ahead and hope that traffic conditions don't make it difficult to avoid them.
@RideWithAnthony I came across THE AVERAGE GUY 1983 channel on TH-cam.He was involved in a scary hit and run. This is what we on scooters face. Please check it out for the actual incident, and to see what he is dealing with after the accident.
I crashed my MAX scooter hard and it turned my handle bars also, the fix is at the bottom of the neck , I loosened the screw and aligned my handle bar then tightened it, super easy, it's also on TH-cam.
Ok I'm calling bull on this one. I'm barely 1 month into doing deliveries on my scooter and I'm already at over 700 miles today. 1 month yes 1 month. You're barely at 2,200 miles in practically a year. Fyi I only use it for deliveries. That's it..I'm sure you're using it for that and other things. So yeah nope. Nice try.
Brah ! Good thing you didn't brake anything. Like I did, I fell off my g3 ninbot, broke my ankle, the ball bone ? Yup, not a pavement injury it's a scooter injury. Hit a sand area front tire went left back tire went in to my ankle ? This just happened, so I'm still out of condition. And dude, no lie. we do cuse out anything, even if it's not even alive ?
