- This is just a brief ride coming home from the Social Security Adminstrative office in Grand Prairie, TX. Note the windshield vibration, the engine sound and the sound as it upshifts and downshifts it very reminiscent of the Spyder.
There is a plane near the sun at the outset of the video - the plane is going north and is probably on approach to DFW.
Camera used was an Insta360-X3 set in full 360 mode saved to a linear file for easy of viewing on your device. If you'd like to see the RAW footage or the full 360 view - say so in the comments.
Helmet is an HJC RPHA 31 which I highly recommend but I will be getting a new LS2 Advant X Carbon - the format of the LS2 will be much better under the roof or Slingshade of the Slingshot as any other helmet when open helmet or visor is just to tall.

You’re 5 inches off the ground. The oops was truly accidental and there was no sound from the rear tire but I was amazed it broke loose. Sitting in an oil spot with that rear tire.
It out accelerates the SpYder. Wanna race this fall maybe? 😉❤️🤔😄👍🥹
Love the new ride , Richard. The motor sounds great to me. I guess I'm one of the strange ones that enjoys a throaty exhaust not. I'm looking forward to your adventures on your Slingshot.

After 500 miles it’ll be Neck breaker it throws you back in the seat and because you’re so close to the ground it feels so cool. I should be your next purchase. You got three bikes in the garage now why not get a fourth three wheeler

@@DFWMoose I drove one back when they first came out and was impressed. I can only imagine how much more they’ve improved. Love the color combo too. And the top is a must have in my opinion.
@@602North The transmission is much improved in the automatic as it’s the same as the manual they simply added controls and mechanical. The 203 bhp is a kick for sure. More torque than the SpYder.
The roof and windscreen are great especially on real sunny days like it shows.
I’ll do a full walk around and point out several things, hopefully early next week.

Nice ! The front end reminds me of my 1974 Stingray
André, we have to connect so you can ride in it and see for yourself but yeah it does kind of have that raised fender looked of the Stingrays used to have less so now but we have to get you to fit. Have to bring a helmet that’ll work for you. You don’t need a helmet just a face shield to keep the bugs out of your face so I have one of those handy for anybody that wants to have a practice ride or I can bring a helmet if need be.

If you rode in Trimark’s - they are pushing you back. To me it’s amazing how the transmission is so similar to the SpYder.

All good. It’s in the shop for two TSB’s surrounding the security system and the dash. Not sure what the MIL light is. I’ll call the dealer shortly.
Dealer is waiting on a brake light switch that’s under recall.
