Overall the practical approach & the package it offers; clearly The Ford Endeavour is best choice one can make.
The best choice only in India but not in other countries. Fortuner is way better in the performance
As ashish mentioned i agree. I own a ford endeavour. I really like driving it. very responsive steering. Easy and nibble even on small roads. A great buy. Great work by Ford!! Its called everest in rest of the world.

Prafful Khatri no it doesn't if u want a manual one then u need to buy 2.2 ltr engine one
But 4×4 is not avaliable and many others features are not avaliable in 2.2l
How is it to be chauffeur driven in it, is comfortable for long journeys in second row

DISADVANTAGES OF ENDEAVOUR :
1- It doesn't have push button start/stop like in fortuner & many other cheap cars like micra
2- It doesn't provide easy ingress to last row seats like in fortuner
3- It doesn't have cooled glove box like in fortuner & many other cheap cars like i-20
4- It doesn't provide sharp white coloured led head lamps like in fortuner
5- It's warranty period is 2 years while fortuner's warranty period is 3 years
6- Resale value is not so good as that of fortuner
DISADVANTAGES OF FORTUNER :
1- It doesn't provide panoramic sunroof like in endeavour
2- It doesn't provide terrain management system like in endeavour
3- It doesn't provide semi auto parallel parking assist like in endeavour
4- It doesn't provide electrically foldable 3rd row seats like in endeavour
5- Endeavour has bigger & powerful engine i.e. 3.2 than fortuner i.e. 2.8
6- It doesn't provide tyre pressure monitoring system like in endeavour & xuv 500
7- Endeavour has both front & rear parking sensors whereas fortuner has only rear parking sensors
8- It doesn't provide rain sensing wipers like in endeavour
9- Endeavour has 10 speakers while fortuner has 6 speakers
10- Endeavour's tachometer is digital while fortuner's tachometer is analog
11- Endeavour is providing electric power steering while fortuner's steering is hydraulic
12- Endeavour is providing active noise cancellation feature while fortuner doesn't
PRICING- Endeavour is expensive than fortuner with difference of Rs 50000/- approx
CONCLUSION- Endeavour is better than Fortuner

More disadvantages of the Endeavour-
1. The seats in the 3rd row and the 2nd row are not as comfortable as the Fortuner.
2. Fortuner has better mileage than the Endeavour.
3. Endeavour doesn't have smart stop feature when the car stops at the traffic signal like the Fortuner.
4. Service costs are higher with the Endeavour.
5. Endeavour doesn't have a segment leading 3.2L engine with 4x2 Automatic. It comes with only 4x4 Automatic.
Best advice to not open the sunroof in city... Bravo Ashish ji

Just that it would be really nice we had a complete comparison like a battle between the SUVs of this segment. To see some real neck to neck output. Like having vehicles like Pajero Sport, Trail Blazer, Santa Fe

Boot space of fortuner is about of 276 litres(without folding 3rd row seats) and boot space of endeavor is about of 430 litres(without folding 3rd row seats)

Vinay mishra keep on commenting that fortuner is the best, i think toyota has paid you. Fortuner has better sales becz Indians blindly believe in the brand 'toyota' without really knowing which is the best. Endeavour is the best car. The beast. And FORD is way better than TOYOTA.

hi ashish thank you very much for such a nice review. I have driven both the cars and really it is very nice to drive endeavour compared to fortuner. Also endeavours 2,2 lit engine is very good both in terms of drive comfort and mileage, Pricewise also endeavour is good. I have bought 2.2 trend endeavour which came 7.5 lakh cheaper than fortuner 2.8 AT 2 wheel drive, which is a big saving.

there is a flaw in the middle seat of this vehicle the seat belt bucckels dont fold and they are protruded out all the time and u can feel the pinch of the hump in ur rear all the time if sitting tight with three passangers or kids wish to lay flat on the middle seat so the practicality for long run use is zero for a family.. of the middle seat . the rear buckles do fold with the seat but the middle one. I ASKED FOR PEOPLE and the Field engineer inspected the same at bhopal workshop raised hand .. what they did wrong is that they used hard wired bucckle that dont fold nor the groover between the seat is big enogh knotch to hold the buckle if lowered so they are out of seat all the time and thus the middle seat looses the practical utility..
secondly the MRF tyre are a totall misfit in the vehicle i had in row two tyres bursted in 24 hours time met a major accident and the vehicle remained stranded at BHOPAL workshop my dashcam recorded the live footage of accident too.. the vehicle is under repairs for over 2 months now. THEY DONT HAVE SPARE PARTS and most of them are imported or stock awaited so one should keep this in mind if they believe your review..
else what you said in the review is perfectly all right. my vehicle was3,2L just 2500km driven and in was returning from bhopal to jaipur when tyre bursted and i lost controll over the steering as it was hard and cannot depress the breaks so no mauverabliltiy.
How about on bad surfaces and bigger potholes.
Endeavour only lacks behind in fuel efficiency.
