I've noticed Mike sometimes speaks english badly, I don't know why.
Sometimes when I play videogames and I'm really focus I can't give simple direction to my teammates.

i love how even on the wholesome, easy, fun part of the level at the end they are still freaking the fuck out
Them not doing Long Jumps is the Number 1 reason why they had this much trouble on this level.
patyos2 I was thinking that the entire time I watched the video. They're only ever moving at running speed and it simply isn't enough to get over some of the hard jumps.

My niece and nephew have teamed up with me countless times over the last few years trying to beat this level. We FINALLY were able to beat it this last weekend! Glad to see you guys made it too!

I will never spend the time these guys do on games but watching them play is so fun!
Rosalina is by far the easiest character to beat that stage with.
That is, if you're familiar with all of the controls.
This. A thousand times this. I don't get all these people saying they only could do it with Mario or Peach. Rosalina has a freakin' double jump. She makes everything before the Piranha plant climb pretty trivial.
Peach is still easier tbh cuz of her float.
But, the absolute best thing to do is to get tanooki suits before entering this stage. It makes all the switch block parts trivial and helps a ton with tricky jumps. It even makes the piranha plant jumping easier, because you can hover for a bit after each jump and aim your next one. And to top it off it makes the final part easier because you can float in the air and dodge the laser beams.
I don't know why you'd get cat suits for this level, it's useless here.
I looked away for a minute and heard nothing but obscenities and furious button clickings. A testament to hard game plays.
Good. Next time something more relaxing. Perhaps Mike should lead James through beating Dr Jekyll on Nes. That's some well needed closure.

"You gotta land next to this guy." Maybe, this is a crazy idea, but MAYBE the guy can be... killed? Nah, that'd be insane, no enemy has ever been killed in a mario game. Just land next to him.
This was great watching you two struggle through this lol. I remember this being super tough, but the trick is to use two players and LOTS of lives
James' voice sounds so... gritty. What's the word? Maybe he got a cold recently.
I've blown around 50 lives to finish this thing. I discovered "advanced" moves to get instant full speed, just for this thing. I can't imagine not being solo and focused for this thing.

This episode really had me laughing out loud! It was entertaining to watch you guys struggle, but then ultimately succeed. Nice work.

Champion's Road with four players would be nuts....
So there is a trick to this level. While there are no power-ups in the level, there are power-ups you can bring to the level.

Sometimes,it's easier to play alone with this game because, oftentimes, you'll mess each other up.

Tanooki does help and Rosalina is good actually... Its fun to watch bcs I find this stage so simple.
You gotta long jump those jumps in the beginning and ground pound the cannon dudes on the moving blocks lol

Epic conclusion! The difficulty goes up real hard. You should check out Captain Toad. It has its own super hard last challenge! 😧

Loves this, so intense and extremely fun to watch. I know it may kill you guys with a heart attack, but please I need to see more like this. Best James and Mike Monday I've seen in a long time.

I feel much more accomplished knowing that I did it solo. When I read about being the whole game with every character to get all the stamps my reaction was the same. This level feels almost unbeatable without Peach.
I'm really surprised they dont know about the infinite lives trick in 1-2 with the koopa shell

Mike and James reminds me of my 3 year old and 5 year old nephews raging over this game, crying and slamming the controllers on the ground...haha...they tapping those buttons so hard it sounds like those controllers are about to break haha...

i got to this level in 2014 i wasnt able to successfully complete it till 2016
fuck this level. it'd still be impossible with the invincibility suit. EDIT: Impossible for my wife and I, I should say.
Taking your time would help immensely. May be a time limit, but it's not like you only have 10 seconds this time.
like, literally, theres only two ways the flower bounce could work. tapping a at the right time, or holding it all the time. like, there arent that many options...
