Nicely done. 👍 clear instructions, good visuals. Suggestion: this looks like it would be a "yarn eater." Maybe offer the size blanket completed and how much yarn used.
Ooo! Definitely not a yarn eater surprisingly! The EXhdc add a lot of bight to the stitches and the Sl Sts use minimal yardage. The largest size uses 12 skeins of Skein Tones (2220 yards) and is 57 by 68 inches! I actually just washed it and it grew substantially 😊
What an elegant design. Exactly what I’m looking for to make an heirloom baby blanket in a 3 weight bamboo with great stitch definition. I can’t wait to get started. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
I'm glad that you have a tutorial because when you say front loop only, for me that looks like the back loop, according to other tutorials. I guess it depends on your perspective and it's good to know what yours is!
I get confused trying to do a foundation chain, but with your video it looks easy. I'm going to give it another try per your directions. Very pretty stitch. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful teaching style and pattern - thank you! Please do more, I’m so happy to have found you!! I’ve been trying Tunisian crochet but that has made my thumb hurt😅 - I really wanted to achieve the look of a knit with crochet, and this is the ticket! I’m going to try just doing slip stitch row to every other row with other stitches too to see what happens!
This is awesome. I get overwhelmed with some instructions and your tutorial makes it seem way less daunting and complicated. Thank you. I can’t wait for more tutorials. Thanks for sharing 😊
I really like the drape of this, especially in something NOT a lighter weight yarn. Very pretty and refined finished piece. Well done! I'll probably be trying this first as a swatch in a patchwork/stitch sampler tote I am planning. The only bit of constructive criticism I could offer would be to give the dimensions of your finished product along with the yardage used. I find that knowing the weight and yardage of the original with measurements helps me tremendously when planning my projects. Thanks for such a clear tutorial. I truly appreciate not having loud music blaring throughout, as some other creators are prone to add.
This is a gorgeous stitch, and your video was nice and easy to follow. I have to admit, I'm not sure that it looks a lot like knitted fabric, but I'm probably coming from the wrong angle (as a relatively novice crocheter and a pretty experienced knitter). But that doesn't change the fact that the blanket in blush is absolutely gorgeous, and I've learned a lot from watching this tutorial. I'm glad I found your channel, and I'm going to take a look at your other videos, because there's so much I need to learn about crochet and I love the fact that they are so different.
Close up you can definitely tell it’s crochet, but the use of the FLO and Sl St give the illusion of knit from a distance 🥰 thank you for watching and enjoying my video!
Hello, I love it! Could you please tell me the name of the color used for the swatch in the video? I checked the colors in their web and can't recognize it. In your blog I think you mention the other one, but not this golden like. Thanks
Thank you for the captions.
You are welcome!
This is really pretty and unique. Thanks for sharing!!! Have a good night!!!❤
Thank you! You too!
This was great! Very polished 😊! I love how the blanket looks. Thanks.
That’s a beautiful blanket. Does look knitted. I love it for the density. Beautiful yarn.
Yay! Thank you!

I love this stitch. I’ve not seen it before and I think I’d love to try this on a table runner or some place mats. Thanks
Ooo it would make a wonderful table runner!
Great tutorial. Thank you for keeping it real. Great stitch.😊
Aww thanks 😊

Yes! Depending on which side you are looking at!

Yay! I have that on my list next, so keep an eye out for videos specifically for foundation stitches 🥰

Tunisian is beautiful! I am so happy you found the video helpful, I will be doing more and looking for other knit-like stitches.

Yay! Thank you so much! This really is an easy stitch combination one you get a few rows in!
HI, IT IS BEAUTIFUL.
BEEN LOOKING FOR A STITCH FOR THIS NEW YARN I JUST BOUGHT. THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
Yay! Thank you, enjoy!
You did a great job. I can't wait to make a blanket
Thank you so much! I hope hope you enjoy making one yourself 🥰
I am nearly finished crocheting this blanket and have slightly wonky edges (my errors!). Love it! Could you suggest a border for this blanket?😮
Beautiful stitch and a really good tutorial. Thank you.
thank you!
This is such a beautiful stitch and blanket. Your tutorial is very good and clear! Awesome 😁👍😍
Thank you so much!
I've never saw this stitch pattern before, it sure does look knitted. Can't wait to try making a scarf. I just subscribed to your channel.
Thank you! Isn’t it gorgeous! I love how just a change in stitch placement can create an effect like this, I hope you enjoy using it!
For cleaner edge try to work in both loops of the last stitch it easier and gives better result 👍✌️🥰
That’s a great tip! However for this effect it can make the detail get lost at the ends 😊
What an amazing blanket. Your tutorial was very thorough and easy to follow, especially with your sweet calm voice. I just subscribed. Well done!💐🌹🌺❤
Awww thank you! I’m glad I didn’t sound nervous, I’m new to creating video content. 🥰 Again, thank you!
This helped so much! Thank you for doing this. I appreciate it so much.
thank you! I will be doing more!

She has that in her blog, in the more info
Of course! There is a link to the pattern in my site that includes all of that information 🥰

Thanks!
Thank you! 🥰
New subscriber !! This is a excellent tutorial. Looking forward to more ❤
Awww thank you so much!
I may have missed this but can you give an idea of how long this takes to make? Amazing video and project!❤
Love it. ❤️
Yay! Thanks! 🥰

Of course! The color I did for the swatch is called ginger root! I’m so sorry, I thought I mentioned that 😅
Why do you slip stitch every other row? Couldn't you use another stitch instead of slip st
The slip stitch and the FLO is what creates the illusion of the purl stitches like in knitting.
❤
That looks like a back loop to me 🧐
Nope, it’s front loop, the slip stitch’s makes it look that way😊
