Hey can you please tell me from where did take the permission for private camping? Form the locals or the police station? I am planning to camp in harihareshwar too..

We did not take any formal permission. Just ensure you don’t intrude in anyone’s private space. Speak to friendly locals, they will guide you to the right place. Ensure you reach early and have lots of daylight left to prepare and set up camp. And prioritise safety above all else. Do comment back if you need any more help.

No. We didn’t experience any wild animals. Only cows and goats in the morning. They’re friendly 😆

Be careful not to camp in the lands of any hotels or resorts nearby. They’re not very hospitable with people who don’t give them business 😆
