The hottest temp recorded on earth is not from the Sahara desert. The hottest temp ever recorded was recorded in the USA in Death Valley at 134° farenheight.

Bro, they lie about the real temperature in parts of the southwest, particularly in the low deserts of Arizona. I've seen 136 (to be modest) in Lake Havasu City. All the thermometers around town will read higher temperatures than is advertised on the news, and keep in mind that these temperatures are taken in the shade to read air temperature. I've heard the temperatures can range upwards of 180 degrees in the sun, which after living there for so many years, I can confirm to you it is very freaking hot. I've noticed the news channels will say it's going to be around 120-124 with an "extreme heat advisory", but the thermometers around town/at home will read upwards of 132, and as I mentioned, I've seen and experienced over 136, but have heard 137.something has happened while I was living there. My best guess is they are trying not to discourage tourism and retired people from coming to Arizona. haha

Interesting fact. Deserts shrink when C02 increases as the sto.ata in their leaves dont have to be wide open to get enough C02 for photosynthises. This helps plant keep moisture inside and be more drought resistant. Put the C02 back where it came from!!!

I thought about this to have water around Sahara dessert for the animals that inhabits this area . Since I had my spiritual awakening and my third eye saw it and felt it and vibrate at the same time , it was this beautiful white light shoot out and reside in the middle of my forehead…..whenever I prayed and meditate it’s just happened in a Devine way. The places media reported on recently get flooded every couple of years! Last time Sebka El Melah and Daoura's end lakes got refilled was in 2014!(Check the satellite images) It is totally normal occurrence within the area. Just the flooding was larger than usual. That is why this time it caught international attention, while normally it doesn't make the news.
For those of you unaware: Media showed footage of town Mezourga with submerged palsm. Town's surroundings get flooded due to proximity to river Ziz, well Ziz then meets another river and becomes Daoura-which end in desert in Algeria in two lakes.
Similiar situation with lake Sebka El Melah, except it is end lake of river called Saoura.
Daoura is more west, Saoura is more east. Both are seasonal rivers, which dry up quickly after flooding. But their lakes last bit longer, but also tend to dry up significantly.

    "How Come?"
How? Well, there's go, and there's come. I suppose a third option is neither; just staying put. As to how, well, heat evaporates water, rises in the atmosphere, various conditions cause it to condense back to liquid water. That's a bit rare in the Sahara.

In this video what does Egypt have to do with the Sahara dessert, nothing, and if you look at the world map the Sahara dessert is located in North Africa, in Morocco and Algeria, and I have been to Morocco 5 times, but it's very odd, that the Sahara is now flooded, and in the middle east it's known to be a very barren land, very dry and very cold during the night, yet the people have found a way to survive in the dessert, with their goats and camels and they are a very nomadic type of people, constantly moving and if you consider what the Saudis have done, they based on there amount of crude/oil, have turned salt water into fresh water, using very expensive plants into potable drinking water, and as far as the world's water table is concerned they don't want to deplete water in the region, so now it's a mystery, as scientists don't have a answer to this specific situation, probably they will say that it's God's will, no other explanation, it's a complete puzzle, and just accept it for what it is, and don't think that the people in the area are not happy, they are overjoyed by the cause of these affects,as it's another thing that they don't have to think about, and now other than oil, they have another product that can be exported to neighboring countries, and don't be surprised that scientists in these other countries won't be studying what they can do to make very similar changes in their own environment, and in that area of the world, they do share their ideas at no charge, it's free for all to enjoy, And I know how MUSLIMS think, with there own customs, not like other countries, very stingy with their knowledge of life based on history and God, whether you be Jewish, Christians or believe in Islam, which are the three major religions in the world, other than other religious beliefs or faiths, they all share in a common belief, and that all humanity believes in a much higher being than ourselves, as I took a course in world religions when I was in college, years ago, at the UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII AT MANOA, main campus in MANOA Valley in Honolulu Hawaii, in 1980,after I left the Army, long time ago.

In any desert in the world, who will know for sure as nobody dares to stay long over there & risk dying of heatstroke or dehydration so, any record temparature would have been missed😅
