Pawn shops are and can be ridiculous on lots of things, especially guns and knives, thanks to the internet. Just today, I picked up an unused, unsharpened Schrade USA 5ot Bruin with green covers. They were asking $59.99, and I got it for $40.00...had a sticker on it saying reduced from $199.00!! Absolutely crazy!! At any rate, I was glad to add it to my collection anyway. Just won an ebay bid on a Schrade USA Uncle Henry liner lock single blade folding hunter that was listed as possibly new without sheath...got it for $41.00 plus shipping. My daddy always said something was worth what you were willing to pay for it!! Great content as usual! Have a blessed day!

I'm an avid pawn shoper and I've been noticing the same thing with a lot of prices being at straight up brand new retail price but every now and again I still find a nice hand made or collectors knife for a good price but nice video guys

2:16 That is a J Martiini Rapala filet knife with a 5” long blade. They come that short from the factory. I have one and I really like it. I’ve cleaned a bunch of fish with it and it’s held up well. If you ever see any that are made in Finland be sure to buy them. Unfortunately they’re made in china now.

That first shop definitely thought they were going to get Ebay prices for their stuff. I'd have left after I saw that they weren't going to come down much. I bet all those knives will be still be there in three months. That third place was excellent. Pawn shops that will deal are the best. Also, for what it's worth, I love the longer video!!

I have an Imperial pocket knife that was a promotional gift too Pharmacist back in the 70s. Its all stainless with pharmacy symbols stampings in the stainless scales. Its way rare cause I could only find one picture from a knife auction site.
I also have a 4dot CaseXX , its pretty cool with a sheeps foot as one of the 3 blades. Im mot too familiar with old pocket knives . Im a fixed blade guy but i will share what I have in a video when I get a chance.

With your videos you are bringing the prices up on pocket knives within about a 6 hour radius of Smith Station AL. I’m moving soon so hopefully you didn’t start a trend in other places of the country lol. You and other followers have depleted the supply lol. Your videos are very addictive lol I’m messaging you on my iPad while I’m watching you and your friend he is driving either a Ford Excursion or a Expedition but I’ll guess the Ford Excursion I had a 2000 Ford Excursion with the 7.3 I got it in 2009 with 229,000 miles on it for some home remolding job they paid me for materials and gave me the truck for my labor. But it was a great truck it lasted me till 2017 it had 437,000 I sold it for $1100.00 I still miss it. I’m hitting our local Pawnshops later Today looking for pocket knives for my collection.I have already spent over $225 on just (3) New to me CASE XX in the last three days and (2) of them are Limited Edition knives.I also purchased a 1980 BUCK USA so that put me over the $250 mark in total.One of the CASE XX knives is one of only (50) that were produced so it’s very RARE.👍👏❤️🇺🇸

My dad and I used to use those small Finland fillet knives to fillet blue gills and crappie. They work great.😊

The pawn shop I dealt with dickered on the price and I bought three knives priced at $80 for $50 I just wish I had more opportunity to shop at pawnshops bc I could see them handle them and make a decision based upon something other than a photo

I often check antique stores. Many times they don’t know what to price their knives at. Once I found a large Western camp knife and sheath from the 1950’s in fantastic condition for $17.00. It’s worth more than $100.00. Thanks for the video. 🔪🎸

I bought the yellow 6254 used but never sharpened. 20 dollars
$40 was a great deal on the Buck 110, despite being newer production it has the finger groove handle, which is pretty cool. That AF pilots survival knife looks old and some are quite collectible. I'm don't know a ton about them, so not sure about the $75 he was asking, so hopefully you did good on it.

I've been collecting USA made schrade knives for a while now,I've also started collecting Case knives.Your thoughts worth while?
Love both of those brands. Case XX is fun to collect, but the Schrade is the working man’s knife! Agin, love both of these! My favorite of them Schrade is the Old timer. Only USA!!
That fillet knife is like $10 new at Walmart. I got a couple of them.

Good afternoon the knife doctor I have from my research a 1972 case xx with eight dots that I will be mailing u in a couple weeks hope to see something done with it but it's probably doomed to the parts drawer it's in pretty rough shape can't wait to see a video done on it edit im gonna do a poor mans down and dirty clean up on it before sending it to u. For my TH-cam channel. Save u a little work on it but theres a good bit to do on it for your channel

Pawn shop prices in my area are way too high.
At one time a few years ago, Walmart had those yellow Case trappers for under $50.00. Then they marked them down to about $18.00. I got 3 of them. First Pawn shop had some high prices. Oh well, yall found some good ones at the other places.
