Located in Lee County, Alabama, the flea market proved to be a treasure trove for knife enthusiasts like myself. Not only did I stumble upon some incredible knives and zippos, but I also had the pleasure of meeting some amazing subscribers from my TH-cam channel.

The excitement began as soon as I arrived at the flea market. My subscribers recognized me straight away and it was an absolute joy to interact with them. We swapped stories and they even showed me some of the remarkable knives they had found at the flea market. One particular gem stood out - a captivating Remington Camp Knife with a rich history.
After an exhilarating time at the flea market, my adventure took me to a pawn shop in Columbus, Georgia. Here, I was fortunate enough to come across a selection of high-quality knives at affordable prices. It's always a thrill to discover great deals in unexpected places! To top it off, I treated myself to a couple of knife collector bags, allowing me to expand my ever-growing collection.

I get that most of those items are antiques but man are they asking a lot for them. At my local flee market those knifes with broken tips are $1 all day long, doesn’t matter if it’s case,boker or Chinese

I noticed you looking at an industrial round handle fixed blade knife. Most of those are made by Hide they sharpen nicely when I first started laying carpet we used those for cutting padding. They also make them in a Hawksbill style. They make great bench knives.

It's insane how much of a difference there is between American flea markets and the ones here in Sweden where I live. You guys have so many interesting items for sale compared to us, I could literally spend an unlimited amount of money if I went to a flea market like this one 👍

Man $5 for a nice Remington UMC. That John Primble tang stamp Old Timer was also a very good find for you.
He found a Holy Grail!! He paid $5 for the knife and an Invicta Watch.

Was able to score a few nice kershaws, a zt and a demko for under 70 bucks in total. If you ever go knife hunting out of state, definitely recommend coming to Texas as you'll find pretty good pieces at good prices.

Cool video. I love knives also obviously haha i dont work on them tho i only buy like new cond. I have alot of fixer uppers in a box tho and they actually go for nothing on eBay. FYI...dont be so Hasty throwing modern day knives back in buckets at yard sales. I found a bright blue handle knife i thought China junk! Opening the blade it hade a butterfly. It was a factory sharpened pristine condition Benchmade!

I love those old knives I still have my old timers and schrades from when I was a kid, that pawn shop electrician’s knife reminded me of my dad always had one on him. He was a master electrician. Thanks for the memories, I love the old uncle Henry made in US myself always looking for them.

I bought a up2date oldtimer carving jack knife, the blade did not come sharp, but the carving t0ols did & that is all i needed, as i sharpened the blade myself.
Ive got one of those Old Timers and the pruning knife too from my grandfather.

Got some like that grandpa had. My Aunt throw them out. When she cleaning up few years back and went through the bags got all of gramps stuff. Lol i mean there old they don't know about value or sentimental value to me for some them things. I'm 50 i can remember back when i was 4,5 gramps get bag script out look at them show me them different ones to different company stores. And some that was his some that was
What he found and people gave him. Good times watch play solitaire and listen to the old radio zenith not floor model but had two big antenna pull up bunch of bands remember it was blue,black,sliver trim flip up front panel. World map type picture. Maybe 14" across 10-11" high and 5" depth. Yelp good times. Stay safe from ur ole hillbilly buddy.

That's cool I love your knife hunting videos. I've never seen a oldtimer made my john primble Belknap I think the Belknap was like a hardware store knife but nor 100 percent sure
Schrade made the knife for John Primble. It’s a good knife. I’m going to clean it up on tomorrow’s video.
Up near where I live are 2 big flea markets. One In Collinsville Ala. The other is Mtn. Top flea market near gadsden Ala. I always find good knives and buys there

3” Bench Grinder with a Fiber Wheel. It’s like an SOS Pad. Then I also use 400 Grit Sandpaper.
Did you take a look at the case knives at the bottom shelf of the pawn? That lady leg at 26:16 for only $20 seems like a good deal.

China isn't a bad word in knives anymore, well not always anyways. My EDC is China made and one of my favorites, as good as a knife in same class as any others.

No, actually Schrade made knives for them in 70’s. I’m going to share the information when I go ver the knives. Thanks for watching!!

I’m a new subscriber, I got an old timer 250T it’s the 2 blade model with the skinning knife out of mine and my dad’s old knife collection the other day and I’ve been trying to clean it up and make it look as nice as possible… I believe I’m gonna carry it for a while. I soaked it in vinegar and Dawn last night and it turned the blade black…😅 So anyway I’ve been sanding on it with some 800 grit sandpaper but I need to get as much as possible out of the pits it’s got in the blades. I’m thinking I might use a wire brush on a drill… Then I’ll probably re-sand it and hit it with some 2000 grit… Could I use zippo lighter fluid aka naphtha to lubricate it… Naphtha is basically mineral oil.. Thanks in advance
I never give my knives a bath. It always messes the springs and blades up if you use too much vinegar. Almost makes the blades brittle if you’re not careful. I’ve never used that, I always use REMINGTON GUN OIL or Raw Mineral Oil.
