Gameplay looks so clean and elegant compared to T8. No annoying camera zooms, no rage arts, no armor moves, no ridiculously looking DBZ style anime moves. Just pure neutral game without any bullshit comeback mechanics. Damn I f...... hate namco for what they did to this beautiful franchise.
Couldn't have said it better myself. This game was the height of Tekken's combat. Now it's all about flash and spectacle. Tekken used to have such a unique identity, before catering to casuals with a bunch of shonen/anime BS.

I like that doing combos was not so excessive up to Tekken 5. One simple combo and thats it, Tekken 6 to Tekken 8 got players keep pressing buttons like they're in a rush, so annoying.
@@scrollingthru45 I wasn't able to do that in my 20s when playing Tekken 6 and Tekken 7, even if I did, it's lame, I like being to learn how to display different moves with a character and it works well for me, feels like I know how to use them compared to people who only know how to do one or two long combos.
@@sky-oq5mr From Tekken 1 to Tekken 5, you didn't keep getting beat on after getting knocked over. There's a limit to how much damage you can inflict unless you're attempting to do a form of infinites to which not many people could pull of or did.
@@zosazsatara5889 They could still do it and yes you could continuously get beat after knocked over unless you tech rolled. That's why people hated Eddy in t3, hwoarang would stop you dead in Tekken 4-5. You just never played those at a high level. You seen it always, nothing new
