It’s been a while since I pulled the trigger on a knife before the video I was watching ended. I’ve been looking for a new EDC fixed blade and that 3V model was just the ticket. Thanks dude. 👍🏼
bro i dont blame you lol. this is really the best package edc fixie on the market. in my opinion, as far as value/materials/quality.customer service/price. its the top dog for a true edc fixie
@@GBall_Vision I haven't even seen one in person yet, and I think you are right. I can see the potential in this knife, and the design is just perfection.
After seeing this video earlier today, I ordered the 3V with the OD handle. Looks like a solid blade at a great price. I received an email less than 30 min after I placed my order saying it was shipped. Gotta love that! If I love it I may order a 2nd!
Definitely a candidate for “if I could only have one knife” situation. Seems like a really good value for what you get. I might have to have one in 3V. 😃👍🏼
Been carrying my Buck Sprint Ops Pro this weekend. Still waiting on my lil buddy to get here. Usps messed up and sent it clear accoss the country. Hopefully i will get it this week.
I lucked into a factory second Asher Spiro. It's a regular in my rotation. I use it all the time. The pocked clip didn't last long is my only complaint. Other than that, I expected it to be good from the photos. I didn't expect to be great, and it really is. I love the action, the comfort, and that it's better suited for heavy work than I expected. I'd love to see a video someday of designs that surprised you. My Spiro, my Tenacious, and my Sitivein ST101 are all knives that are way better than they looked on paper. I'm not surprised the Asher fixie is great - he's clearly an impressive designer.
This knife you showed here looks very good, steel and size is good. However, have you seen the new TKell Agent series knives, Agent 001, 003 and 005 are the top three. For this $105 knife, this is affordable
I bought the 3v version and Heber zero regrets awesome little knife especially at the $90 I paid it'd be cool is asher made Carbon Fiber scales as a upgrade option I might try making a forged carbon set I should be able to pull that off oh and when these come in stock fellas jump on it they sell out really fast they came in stock I noticed while waiting to lane my vehicle for work at my Jobsite that where sold out when I got off work 8 hours they where all gone and that's just the 3v version the s90v was already sold out I'm gonna hunt for one of those to though
Ive put out a few videos that have helped sell them out 😃 😂 they are 100% worth it to pick up. The entire set up is money. He may start doing aftermarket scales for them
I've been looking at the Griffin X series fixed blade. It's about the same size as the asher and has a slim profile sheath that comes with it. I agree 7" is the perfect size for a fixxey.
I don't generally carry an EDC fixed blade on me (though I do keep one of my ESEEs in my truck), but that 3v version is making me think about it! Good review, thanks man! Pocket check for today: Microtech MSI with Skiff bearings
Yeah I been eyeballing these for many months and pounced on the opportunity to get the 3v one is a no braver being a trades men I should have bought 2 I'll wait and see what other steels he ends up using awesome little knife for a tiny guy that is a tradesman
Definitely 💯 it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a s90v version for the times where you have a lot of cutting to do that doesn't have foreign objects in it. That was my thoughts. Have one for toughness and one for edge life
S90V version posted up in Factory Seconds on the Asher website for $65. I have 2 or 3 of the knives sold as seconds and I have to guess what the issue is with each.
@@mirekbns the Vosteed is extremely solid, I'd put that in the top 5-10. The Asher and Smolt are so far my favorite options. Smolt needs ulti clip or scout straps but is really good still
It's sold out on their site. I want this. I just bought 2 Benchmade's and a Fallkniven F1 Pro Elmax this week, which has set me back over $1000, but I need this little guy too. The design is perfect. The handle, the blade, the size, the style, it's literally the perfect knife to me. I have a Lionsteel M4 which is sort of similar to this, but I'm liking the design of this more.
The OD green with tan sheath is still available. I just double checked the sight as I was watching this video. Ordered mine last week and got it yesterday. It's now my favorite pocket carry.
@@jasonbruchmiller4580 thanks. I Saw that that one was available, but I want one of the models with the black handle and silver blade. I'll just wait for them to get back in stock.
Ironic because I just got my 3v lil buddy yesterday. Still hoping they restock the s90v. I shopped around and found the only comparable equivalent was the kizer smolt. You can't find any other 3v under $150.
@@GBall_Vision I carry the Aus10 version. It's amazing. My other favorite is watchman we222. It's a remake of esee 3 but it's better in every way especially steel and price. To me esee is just a gimmick. Who uses warranty. If I have a knife and it breaks. Every company has a warranty if it breaks later I certainly don't want another one. That's my personal opinion.
No Asher Knives designs their knives in the United States and then has the parts manufactured in China. Once the parts are complete, they are sent back to the US where a single person assembles the knives by hand
I would say anything bigger than 7.5 - 8 doesn't classify as a true EDC fixed blade. 99% of people won't EDC something bigger than that 7-7.5" after 8" it becomes a companion fixed blade
Why would you need 3v on that knife??? It makes no sense. 8cr Would have been absolutely as useful. That looks like a knife they would give to third graders to cut their macaroni and cheese in half.😂😂😂
Gotta make sure that little baby knife is full tang. 😂 all the heavy duty chopping you will be doing with that 3v full tang 5” baby dick knife. 😂😂😂 I have lost all respect for you. Wtf are you doing with this??
