Here are some ideas for Link's Awakening videos: - What if you force the game to let you bring partners, like the Chain Chomp, the ancient bird, Marin, etc in a normal dungeon/custom dungeon/boss room? - Is there any unused maps you can actually explore, or with the models still in? You could either play in them, or show them through a model viewer program. - Can you change your gameplay style to 2D/3D whenever you want, and if so, what happens if you go 2D in a 3D environment, and 3D in a 2D environment?
@@brittwicklund1752 heres just a concept. imagine a level that included choosing the right paths and the wrong rooms would have dangerous enemies in them. you could find out what rooms are dangerous and what are safe by looking through a fake door to see what room is ahead of you
It's basically what happens when you try to exit a door or pipe in Mario Maker. The game pauses, shows you attempting to exit, before showing you exiting the door/pipe you came from.

You can actually create an impossible dungeon without modding at all. The 4 locked door dungeon tile is able to break the dungeon logic and easily able to create soft lockable or impossible dungeons.
The game will point this out to you if you’re stuck, and visited every room you currently has access to. A text box from Dampè will appear telling that you’re stuck and that you need to leave the dungeon.
This was just a save edit, the game's code wasn't modified. If he could modify the game's code, he'd probably noclip into the rooms that he can't normally visit just to see if they're normal
I love the fact they have a fail safe for near everything... except not having rooms so if there is a failure to load for any reason or a data loss the game just crashes.
While i really enjoy those, somewhat predictable but still fairly interesting results, i would really enjoy having just a tool to do stuff like connect stairways manually instead of forced by mapdistance, or, if possible some way to FORCE chest contents to make this feel like the actually versatile tool that I kinda hoped for when seeing the remake, without those incredibly pointless limitations in an editor that still needs you to complete a dungeon to save it as playable...

I tried to play the game without getting instruments and trying to reach the end game. The result was however, that i had to get first 2 instruments in order to progress (the Chomp-chomp was not kidnapped if i didn't get 1st one and the lady refused to take it back if i didn't got the 2nd instrument, telling me to take it on a walk). But from that point onward all i had to do was to collect equipement from dungeons and i could either kill the bosses or just leave them be. And so i managed to get magical wand and reach the end game with just 2 instruments... however the egg didn't crack when i played the tune sadly, and i was missing Boomerang too because the Man from the starting village was not missing until i got 3rd instrument so i was stuck with Pineapple till the very end, when i decided to finally get 3rd instrument and this allowed me to continue the trade chain and i got the lenses i needed to see boomerang seller. Still funny it was possible, but i am dissapointed i could not get inside the egg. The owl guide however was confused as i only had 1-5 owl met and then 7 and 10th one (and yes i have been everywhere on the map). At one point i was even with Marin in the temple (she stayed outside) but its funny that she was present when the owl appeared once i left the temple. Also i stil had the bird with me when i had the wand and all other weapons. It only dissapears once 7th instrument is taken and i never took that one. The weird thing is that i cannot use chambers really. I mean, i only have 2 training dungeons available. Dampe doesn't seem to realize i've been to all the dungeons already. Also i can only place first 2 dungeon bosses and the color dungeon boss in these stages, even though i saw them all. The game really checks if i have 3rd, 4th, and so on instruments in order for me to use the chambers.
I have an idea for a video you could hack the super mario 3d world levels in captain toad tressure tracker for the wii u and hack them onto captain toad tressure tracker for the switch and see what happens because the 3d world levels are replaced by super mario oddyssey levels on the switch so if the 3d world levels are on the wii u version what could could go wrong if you put those levels onto the switch version
There seems to be a doorway in the Wind Fish Egg, North to the initial hole covering the whole ground. Does this lead somewhere, or just an empty void room?
that's possible without glitches or save editing. it just spawns one of the three or four 2d areas which contains a flying 3-heart that are almost exclusively placed right before bosses.
There is a 3 way room where you must kill all the slimes, and a line of blocks divides the room in 2. Entering throught the top or right, and not having an entrance from the bottom, can softlock you, I think.

I know in the game boy color version where the telephone in town by the shop you press the pause button at the right time while having the boots and having the sword out on the correct moment you pause and un pause and it will beam you up to glitch heaven where some uh interesting glitches and items and everything else odd will be. And yes I have done it myself.

4:30 is basically what happens in Mario Maker with blocked doors and pipes, except in that game, it's not a glitch.
Put an entrance leading forward into another entrance (on top of another entrance in the column)
