- As always, I truly hope this video is helpful as you can see if you have a 2025 Explorer ST you’ll either need to revert back to the OEM charge pipes from 2020 to 2024 or upgrade your hot and cold side charge pipes at the same time as doing the intercooler.
You can pick up all the parts you need from HoustonSpeedFreaks.com
Looks good! I also put the emblem city on my white 23 ST. Looks a hell of a lot better
Right! Just looks so much better 🥵
Awesome job as always. FYI the front brackets are dealer installed. My 25 I requested it not be, and no holes in my front bumper. 😉
Not true all the ones delivered here in Texas are dropped off with the front plate brackets already installed we even requested for it not to be.
@HoustonSpeedFreaks Simply sharing what O have and what I was told by my selling dealership here in Florida.... no brackets.... fwiw, I ordered mine
@4DZC lucky lol
The Fen Fab ECU cover does fit a 25. I put one on mine.
phew, was worried about this one, glad it fits still
That’s good to hear the spacing looks right but it looks a little wider like it would still leave some of the Ecu exposed.
im waiting for the 2026 Ford Explorer ST Coyote 5.0 Twin Turbo to come out... ill get one of them....
I have no clue, but im dreaming!
I don’t think ford has the balls to shove a coyote in the explorer lol
Thanks brother!
Anytime 🙏😁
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks you wouldnt happen to have the part number for that intercooler inlet pipe would you? The one on the passenger side
@Dravira I don’t unfortunately I should have got it off the pipe I knew I was forgetting something
Looks like the part number might be L1MZ6C646D
This seems to be the only intercooler to fit the 2025 so far, correct? If i order this, will I need to get much to adapt it to the 2025?
All the intercoolers on the market will fit but you’ll need to find either 2020-2024 charge pipes or order both hot and cold side charge pipes when you do the intercooler. Ford changed the connections on the intercoolers. I covered it in my video 😅
What is the difference with the turbos? I have a 2021 ST.
They have electronic wastegates not sure if they are bigger or smaller but definitely different which is why the down pipes don’t fit.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks dude, I just bought a set of 20-24 CVF downpipes for a 25… Do they really not fit? 👀
@SuperNathan214 they don’t fit
I have a 25 ST on the way and currently ordering parts prior to delivery. Which charge pipes on your site will work? I intent is to use the Fenfab V2 intake
The fenfab charge pipes will work but you’ll need to get 2 (2.5) couplers to fit everything as well
Drove a 25 ST some cool features but the dial shifter and hearing wind noise in the cabin at 70mph just wasn't feeling it.
The dial shifter grew on me in my 22 I still prefer column shifter. The wind noise is a new one for me as they had that issue in 2020 and supposedly fixed that for 21-24 so sucks if it’s back in the 25.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaksit’s bad in my 2022
@TheJalopy80 I don’t have any in mine
Nice!
Thank you 🙏
Any ideas for a tune after the new IC is installed. I messaged cobb but they said they need someone to donate a 25 to be able to r&d a tune for it.
Tuning is not available yet for the 25s it will be a minute unfortunately
The comment about the front plate bracket sent me 😂
Just stating facts lol
What benefit do you get with different charge pipes?
Better flow, more flow to and from the intercooler, less restriction in flow to the intercooler.
@@HoustonSpeedFreaks more power?
@rogerdewey1220 yes sir as they help aid in more flow it can help the engine make more power 😁
@HoustonSpeedFreaks sweet! I have a stock 2020. I really want to start adding more power just not sure what direction to take
I’ll sell my cold side for $182.99 😂
😂😂😂
