Great video- I loved the review, your comments and banter are very enjoyable and your analysis/comparisons very informative. I agree with your opinion on the rotary knob shifter. It seems like everyone who tests or drives these Fords with that shifter hates it! Why doesn't Ford do more consumer research, focus groups/surveys to determine what customers preferences are? I really like those rims- they really add to the overall nice appearance of the Explorer. Can I ask where this video was shot? Looks nice and the roads appear very well maintained.
I have 2025 ST. I put better exhaust tips and tints. I’m waiting for the chip. I race all kinds of sports cars and win every time. This is my 4th ST because I love it so much. The cops think I’m one and wave or just don’t bother me when I speed. My teens love the third row. My truck has suede and leather seats which I think are way more comfortable than the solid leather I’ve had. The blues cruise sucks because it doesn’t work in most places and is iffy on interstate. The car is always watching your eyes and tells you in some crazy ways if you’re not looking at the road. I noticed they cheated out on something but the engine is great! You can hear the waste gate and the car is just louder in general. I don’t like the wheels. They only offer the gun metal and not black like my other ones. They also deleted the door pad which is the stupidest thing ever! I ordered one and fixed that problem the same day I got it. I also have black ford tags so the ford symbol isn’t blue. The screen is much better than before. They did away with the console in the second row and I put my Fridge there. The second row has manual pulls instead of a button like before. Over all I love it! It’s a mom’s sports car. Just know so far these cars fail after 60,000 miles most cars do now. Trade it at 50000. I get between 18-25 mpg. The gas makes a huge difference. They’ve been water down the gas everywhere. I can always tell. BP is the most consistent at having decent gas. I really could go on and on. I love my ST.
Just got a new ST. So far so good. RaceChip and Diff brace added. Agree with your comment on wheels. Black would've been a nice option. Good review. Wife's car. She loves it.
Nice! I got the 2025 ST as well. By any chance did you experience 15mpg in the first thousand miles. Once I got past the 1000 miles I started getting like 18mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway.
@dwnshft Untrustworthy to the umpteenth degree. In Northern Canada where we regularly see temperatures that dip below -45 and colder. You can't trust a hybrid that is running partially on any electronics. You have to be able to trust that you can get your vehicle started and trust that the electronics are going to be intact from the changes in Temps and moisture that melts and freezes every time you have to go somewhere.
2024 had it. Was not a great seller in the public, but crazy popular for police units. 2025 will Continue to have a hybrid option for fleet/PD customers.
Agree w/ocman11. The Ecoboost, particularly the newest generation has been very reliable. With most manufacturers transitioning to turbo, Ford has become a leader in this area.
Special thanks to our Patreons for their support of the channel! Ford Explorer or GMC Acadia?

They need to have a Platinum model without the sun roof like they have for the ST trims
Love EXPLORER ! My 3rd !
ST is fast and comfy!
Would like FORD to keep hidden hitch...
Nice detailed video !

Wow! What an awesome review. Transparent, blunt, no-nonsense. Thanks for that. Limited owner here. Not lovin the cloth bar across the dash AT ALL.

How much can you tow with the explorer?
5000 lbs
I'm waiting for the 2026 ST. Let them work out any bugs in the refresh.
GMC are front drive based and low power engines. No comparison to the Explorer which is rear drive based
I personally hate hybrids, this is a welcome change
@@kteaka why the hate?

No Hybrid still??

That 3rd row is absolutely horrible.
Should be a delete option, same as the Outlander,
@@lobster1002000 agreed!
Plastic wheel arches look el cheapo and ugly, real metal is classy.
This guy is so handsome.
Explorer is Good, but Expedition is better
Depending on your needs and budget lol
I won't buy a Ford vehicle until they make those Ecoboost engines more reliable.
I am thinking to buy the 2025 st line what do u think? I have tesla now 2024 model 3
Idk if the ford reliability is good car or no?
What exactly do you mean? The 2.3 and 2.7 have been known for their reliability compared to other low displacement turbos.

They could do away with the Easter eggs. Doesn't add any value to the car.
