That is a beautiful old American lock. Just love the all brass padlocks. It has the old logo for American lock on it and that core is unusual as it is machined to four pins whereas all the cores these days are machined to five or six pins and with only the four pins populated. The pick you used is absolutely stunning. Beautiful timber and shape. Cheers
@@PocketWomen thanks pocket woman!!! I too am a massive fan of brass shackle padlocks, especially if they have a bit of patina on them, and your right the cores nowadays are machined to 5-6 and only 4-5 populated but this is only machined to 4, how times have changed 😆
@@Simplytimon it definitely is nowadays, back when it was made and stamped it made sense, Nicor Gas company, took the ni out of Nicor and then gas, that's how I'm assuming they came to that stamping 🤷
That pick is a dream surrounded by a wish, fueled by a blessing. Wow.

Awesome picking! I haven't seen an American core like that one! Pretty interesting!
@@Key_Beard I know right!? Usually they are drilled for 5 pins but only pinned to 4, it's definitely a bit odd
Great video T02 🎉 That is a beautiful pick? Looks wild and seems surprisingly comfortable. Nice quick pick on those serrated
@@gchev4 don't get me to pick serrated again I very much dislike them, almost as much as pip 🤣
Interesting lock and all...but I'm more curious/interested in that pinning tray! What's that made of, and where'd you get it from??
Hello thank you, that pinning tray is a very awesome one made by .hazzert on discord or here's his website hazzertousmfg.com/
Very nice
That is indeed a very controversial lock, mate
