I agree with this but i think it would be cool to have all the sound effects in the final movie video. Then leave the separate videos as no sound effects.
I like that Dan is really sensitive to the culture, like pointing out the fact that they are wearing shoes inside the house, which would be really disrespectful in a living home. Also he is aware of the communal dining area, and mentions that they are only asking about Pearl Harbor because of the rumors they heard about the house. I appreciate that as someone from Japan. If you want to play into those cultural norms and see if that will spike the energy a bit more, I would suggest you take an offering of sake - pour it into sake cups you find in the house and introduce yourselves formally at the main dining area, before you start any investigation. If you don’t drink, take fruit or sweets. Also, keep your voices low. If you travel in Japan, you’ll notice how quiet it is. There’s nothing that turns Japanese people off more than loud, raised voices. Just some local tips - love these videos, love you guys, and love that you’re exploring Japan!

I know the "grudge" sound effects are fun to use on over dub on a video to make it scary, but maybe if you could keep them out when you/we are listening for the sounds you both hear as it's impossible sometimes for us to determine what's an EVP and what is a sound effect. Also I'm glad that you mentioned your friend that had filmed there too. I was watching this gasloghting myself that I had already watched this video somehow because the house was familiar.

The look that Dan gave Josh when he brought up that he was from the United States and was inside this clan's house was priceless (12:28-12:31) (whether it was purposely done or not, I don't know)
I watched a video of actual Japanese citizens do a tour of this entire house and land and they told the whole story of the house and the relatives of the home, from the year it was built and from when the last of the family left the house to never return, they went during the day and spent the entire day there until sun down and nothing happened, just a light bulb fell on top of a coffee table but that was it, it was once a very beautiful house well a traditional Japanese mansion, but it has nothing to do with the Grudge, it was mainly family members unaliving themselves
If they do tours of the house then I feel like the title of the video should be changed or they should at least include some info about people doing tours
I did hear though that they were indeed filming The Grudge, or "Ju-on" in an allegedly haunted house in Japan. I see what you mean though and this is definitely not the same house. I also think it was the same house for the original movies as well as the american remakes and also featured some of the same staff and the actress portraying Kayako, the ghost woman, despite her being mostly CGI'd in the remakes.

In case anyone wonders: Japans houses loose value very fast so the ppl don't bother renovating old houses even in populated areas. Abandoning homes is very common and leaving the junk behind is too because trash disposal is very expensive. Also there is a whole market if you want to buy a house/apartment that is "haunted" because someone was murdered there or just died
The term is 'Stigmatized Property' and there are specialized real estate agents that handle such properties. Not only are the Japanese incredibly stupid-sticious, they are the oldest country, population wise. One third of their population is 65 and older, most in the world. It would seem they are 'painting themselves into a corner' so to speak. For such a very small land mass and very large population, they are heading for their end.

Great video! Always enjoy watching the beyond the dark videos. It would be cool if you used the Flir camera when the music box is going off to see if there is an apparition standing in front of it or maybe footprints.
It would have been definitive evidence if they had used the thermal camera when asking the spirit to walk away from the music box and touch the REM pod. They may have actually been able to catch the figure of the spirit walking from the music box to the rem pod and touching it.

As I was watching here is what I caught: @25:50 an orb flies out of the room between the first open door. @26:39 a orb is zooming above the green chair. @40:09 a orb flies from the direction of the wall with the calligraphy frame. @44:06 two thumps can be heard @47:51 a heavy breath could be heard @48:46 a orb flies by from the middle of the back wall I thought I heard “I don’t remember “ as the last answer on the recorder in the pearl room.
I absolutely love Japan and its my dream to explore it.. ❤ Started learning Japanese to work towards it Thank you for this Josh.. as a paranormal and Japan lover... This is the bestest thing I have come across! This is something I never knew I needed. ❤
30:25 I’m sorry but as a skeptic I need to point out things 1. That was so distorted that it can be anything you imagine it to be 2. If it’s a ghost who doesn’t understand English, how does she understand the instructions to speak into the microphone?
I have noticed when they use that particular device, “growls” and the sort could easily be made by sliding a finger over the microphone when it’s recording. The resulting sounds from the friction gives off that growl sound. I’ve seen a few other channels with that dr 40 do it and you can try doing it with any recording device it’s not hard to do. Like you said can be interpreted as whatever they want to make it out to be
That’s EWF’s handprint from before. It’s in the same spot he touched earlier. It’s just cooled down since then. That’s why it’s showing up blue like that. You can see lingering body temperature on objects for a while after and it will change to a blueish color when it’s cooling down. As far as 55:15, we won’t know what made the noise because you fast forwarded through the recording section of the video. So we’ll never know. 🤷♂️
What a video! Absolutely incredible. I was legit freaked out for some of it and gasped out loud when the cold hand print appeared 😩 Some of those additional sound effects had me tensing and clenching 😂
You always need to say arigatou gozaimasu when you thank someone,by the way this video was so amazing, those ghost reactions was the best i've seen in any other video you filmed..the owner said Asajiro clear as day..i just saw the page lifted by it's self, that was amazing,i have chills all over my body
The grudge gave me nightmares when it first came out and that intro didn't help me. I've got goosebumps now... thanks... Edit: wanted to note something you guys may have missed since it wasnt called out during the recording. When the FLIR changes from hot to cold around the @35:25min mark, you can clearly see the bottom half of a figure walking past the doorway.
@@rwilliamson238is it orange(hot) on the thermal? Or is it blue/purple (cold). I see that large orange blob and as Dan pans it does kind of look like legs walking but it could just be from him panning the camera. Just want to make sure I'm looking at the right thing 👍
@@theawesomecatmom8315 it's the heat signature that shows up against the cold background, it's in between the doorway if you use Josh's perspective for reference.

I really appreciate you guys doing this in Japan which I live here in Japan. Its totally a different vibe. Kinda wish you guys could do a colab with a group in Japan that does the same exact thing you do for these ghost investigations.
If a ghost can follow you home out of the country and into another one (different jurisdiction's) I can just imagine how its reactions would be like seeing all the hassle we gotta go through: large airports, tsa, waiting lines, crowded terminals, children crying on planes, mechanical issues delaying take off, altitude, over priced foods. They would bail and just haunt the nearest trashcan.
that was awesome. i loved the whole energy of this video. i loved how you guys were so respectfully. especially Dan taking in consideration all the japanese cultural differences. i cant wait for me. PS :D i dont even mind watching 2-3 hours :P loved it. maybe a raw video? :D thank you so much josh

55:52 - It really sounds like 'ao', which is just 'blue' in Japanese. If it was 'Nao,' that's usually a female name, and can be used in short of other names, such as Naomi. I also believe you mentioned naobi? Naobi means to correct something that's seen as abnormal or bad, and to restore it to its normal and good, or even original state. There is also a spirit 'Naobi' refers to, and it is a spirit that rectifies wrong. More particularly, Naobi no kami are deities who restore conditions to this normal/good state. They remove all sin, pollution, and disaster to bring back the pure, bright, and correct.
This was a really good video and I agree with you I don't think the spirits in this house are evil or bad. It seams like the spirit is just likes being there. Also when the bulb fell in front of Dave I think the spirit was just trying to let Dave know there were there or thanking him for picking up the horse and putting it on the table. Thanks for sharing. Take care
I wonder so often, how these houses are always so ransacked and littered. Nobody would leave a house like that. When you move out or everyone dies, unless they are hoarders. 25:49 right after Dan said 1946 you can see an orbit flying a straight diagonal line true the room. Does the voicerecorder automatically cut out the space when no one says something?
i think with the evp that’s the case , i’ve watched so many videos and have never realised it cuts out silence and one plays back sound , i guess that’s another reason that some of device is to good for paranormal things , obviously aside from being able to pick up the otherworldly voices 👻👻👻
That handprint was friggen mind blowing!! A friend of mine posed a great question though…if spirits don’t have a physical body then how is it that they can make a handprint? The obvious answer would be maybe they have human form in the spirit form? But even then it’s a great question to think about and even greater evidence in this video. Wow. Just wow

This is the movie set house... not the real cursed house it's based on. The real one was demolished
i have to appreciate yall for not having music in the backgroundwhich shows authentications. other channels play music the entire time and makes it difficult to hear what they hear which leads me to believe they are misleading their audience. thank yall for such great content.
The handprint was just amazing evidence. All the EVP's and devices that kept going off. Just incredible.
You and Dan work so well together! I hope one day we can see a collab between Josh, Dan and Twin Paranormal, they all share the same level of respect for entities and get some amazing responses!!
That would be incredible 😍
Also Seth!!
You forgot Seth 😊 Idk but he has a special ability to create a connection
@@BethDreams777 I agree regarding Seth - Ididn't mean to not include him. In my head, I saw Josh and Seth together as they usually are when they film with Twin Paranormal.
Tin paranormal are Way tooooo loud for Japan & melol
Josh and Dan I'm so happy at all the evidence you guys caught at this location! Such a wonderful, and beautiful place! And that handprint...what??? Crazy lol just crazy! Loved every minute of this guys!

In case anyone wonders:
Japans houses loose value very fast so the ppl don't bother renovating old houses even in populated areas.
Abandoning homes is very common and leaving the junk behind is too because trash disposal is very expensive.
Also there is a whole market if you want to buy a house/apartment that is "haunted" because someone was murdered there or just died
Well if the ghost dont bother me, its very cool!
Also there's a market if you want to buy a house / apartment that is haunted because someone was murdered there or just died
52:24 I love each of your genuine reactions when something scary happens!! You aren’t over the top screaming, and I can see in both of your eyes that what you are experiencing is legit!! That’s why your BTD series is my favorite, and I also like watching you and Dan together!! Thank you for the amazing content! ✌🏼💚👻
You should say ojamashimasu when you entet someone’s house because that’s what we do in Japan to show respect
What an amazing investigation guys.
WOW just WOW.
Dan is absolutely awesome.
You guys work fantastic together.
Be safe 🙏
Watching The Grudge and The Ring back in the day (both original versions, not their remakes) scared the 💩 out of me, but I loved them so much, now that you're a real haunted house related to them is terrifying and awesome in the same time. 6:48 a little suggestion though, could you turn the ambience sounds a bit?
Wouah this is a really good place for a lot of researchs of course But your team has done a so good answers.Really great moments ! I would like to be with you, guys, cause i love Japan and their kindness, History, and All thé folklore overthere! Thanx U ALL so much for " the "Grudge"'s house ! Magnificent!! Aww cheers mate! 🤘🦘🇦🇺
This video was AWESOME, Josh! I can't wait for the continued Japan videos, they're all so cool!
Frst time watching your vedios i was in the mood on wqtching vedios like this full of mistery first impression the intro omagaddd amazinnn i love how you edit youe vedio ima keep watchin the vedio now soo far so intresting
This evidence is incredible! Always fun when Josh and Dan get together; thanks guys!
I litterally lost it at 2:10 😭 I was so focused I swear. Anyways I know the series will be amazing as usual. Thank you for your amazing efforts. Take care as always.
Josh and Dan, this video was just amazing, so much genuine real evidence of the paranormal, this is what i love to watch, the real stuff, thank you for sharing, and thank you for all the hard work you both put into these videos, hope you are both well, take care, stay safe, much love xx UK 🇬🇧
I am loving the Japan haunted series, it just gives off such a different eerie vibes
Thank you for exploring haunted places in Japan! 💖 I've waited such a long time for someone to do this and so far I've only found you, Kelsi Davies and Akidearest doing this! If you guys can please do a collab with Akidearest as she's been living in Japan and can speak Japanese well so she can probably help to translate for you guys when there's no connection. Please stay safe and do more Japan content! Subscribed, shared and lots of love for you guys x 💌💌💌
Cool video. As I was watching here is what I caught:
@25:50 an orb flies out of the room between the first open door.
@26:39 a orb is zooming above the green chair.
@40:09 a orb flies from the direction of the wall with the calligraphy frame.
@44:06 two thumps can be heard
@47:51 a heavy breath could be heard
@48:46 a orb flies by from the middle of the back wall
I thought I heard “I don’t remember “ as the last answer on the recorder in the pearl room.
Appreciate
I absolutely love Japan and its my dream to explore it.. ❤
Started learning Japanese to work towards it
Thank you for this Josh.. as a paranormal and Japan lover... This is the bestest thing I have come across! This is something I never knew I needed.

You both did a fantastic job on this!! Japan is absolutely mysterious and you conveyed that through your investigation. So 👻 spooky!!!

Great video guys!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your dedication your commitment and all of your hard work I love this series and all of your other videos❤
Best evidence ever, I'm speechless 😮😮😮 xx
30:25 I’m sorry but as a skeptic I need to point out things
1. That was so distorted that it can be anything you imagine it to be
Like you said can be interpreted as whatever they want to make it out to be
@@6969scoots exactly, ghost hunting is a huge fraud
How do you explain cold hand print?
@@6969scootsbut the mic was on the table during that segment.
@@aldiwijaya2273 what cold hand print?
Amazing session!
😂 Better late than never! Good one though! Thank you! From Oklahoma!
Im loving the Japan series! Thank you for going above and beyond (you could say beyond the dark, heh. 🙈) with this season. Much love from Scotland. ❤
Finally got here Fam Love ya Josh and Dan let's get this party started 🌟💛🙏💯🤗👻🍀💜👑💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
I don't see anything walk by, where should I be looking??
@@paulinab124 top middle, just before Dan pans down towards the table.
Your not alone, I might not watch it now. I wasn't expecting the sound effect right off the bat
Loving Japan and all the stories absolutely love this Josh and Dan ❤ love the hand shadow and the responses place should be historical sight due to the war loved it so much 📻👻🇦🇺👀
Love to see you guys do an all nighter in some other creepy places.

Loved the video guys and that evidence collected was awesome. I love Japan I would like to visit one day soon myself.
Please do!
Finally you guys travel to Japan for the ghost hunt! I really love the Japan series Josh, thank you and keep up the good work!
I really appreciate you guys doing this in Japan which I live here in Japan. Its totally a different vibe. Kinda wish you guys could do a colab with a group in Japan that does the same exact thing you do for these ghost investigations.
Hello, did you understand what the ghost says in japanese during the EVP session ? Thank in advance
I personally like the editing in the videos. Adds to the video makes, makes it more personal.
that was awesome. i loved the whole energy of this video. i loved how you guys were so respectfully. especially Dan taking in consideration all the japanese cultural differences. i cant wait for me. PS :D i dont even mind watching 2-3 hours :P loved it. maybe a raw video? :D thank you so much josh
Josh, I love your videos so much! But I gotta say, these sound effects lately have been a bit too much :/ other than that, absolutely amazing content!
I'm literally covered in Ghostbumps now from the intro wow 💜😳

i like all your scary videos josh magnificent as always..
The handprints are so awesome 😎😎👑👑💜 way too cool 😎 Beans 🤣
I've never seen that before wow, that equipment is so amazing to use Josh and Dan, omg omg
Damn! That grudge into got me... Chilling as hell 😬😬😬😬
That handprint was friggen mind blowing!! A friend of mine posed a great question though…if spirits don’t have a physical body then how is it that they can make a handprint? The obvious answer would be maybe they have human form in the spirit form? But even then it’s a great question to think about and even greater evidence in this video. Wow. Just wow
my grandparent's house was part Western and part Japanese. The reason was because they entertained both Japanese and American business men.
Hi Josh! Will you plan to make an episode of an Enfield poltergeist house?
This was the most amazing video ever! Bravo boys!
