Yup that fits me to a tee I have a new 36x40 garage with 5 cars and 1 that runs 1 that needs a new battery and 3 that well don't run. This feller could use on of those double lifts if a certain company would like to donate said device.
I remember watching Derek at the beginning and I can remember watching episode in a shop where you could see his breath it was so cold. I remember watching him move shops and get his first lift. Derek has come a long, long way and he's like the guy you can't help but root for.
He is completely that guy. :)

You will definitely appreciate a small water heater by the sink. Cold water clean up gets pretty old really fast. What a great shop.
You could get a big curtain hanging from the ceiling to separate the shop into two halves. Have a dirty half and a clean half. It’ll help keep overspray and rust dust from getting all over the nice stuff.
Wow man thats a great garage! Love those wildfire lifts too. I got my lift for 700 dollars but cost me another 300 to get the parts to get it all done. However mine sat out in the rain in pieces for about 20 years after being pulled from an alignment shop. Works great now tho! I don't miss wallowing all over the ground and filling the old back crack with dirt thats for sure..

I remember when a guy only had one circuit, and it was in the house, glad to see you've had success, and excited to see what you'll be able to build with the new shop!
When we ran methanol in our car we used to fill the 32 gallon cell with wiffle balls to stop the sloshing (circle track). The holes would allow fuel to flow freely and the fuel wouldn't slosh around. The methanol never broke the plastic down on the balls either. Cheap & effective. However if your fuel cell fill hole isn't big enough you won't be able to fit the ball through. Just a thought.
The shop is amazing. Those are the best looking 4 post lifts I have ever seen. When I build my Barn I'm definitely getting wildfire lifts those are awesome.

Hey feller... What a guy needs to fix the fuel slosh problem... It's called a "Fuel Surge Tank"... Basically a secondary small gas tank that runs inline with the main tank... The pump from the main tank feeds the smaller tank.. then a second pump draws from the smaller tank to feed the fuel rails.. They have a tall cylindrical shape with the inlet at the top.. and outlet at the bottom.. This creates a small reserve of fuel that is not effected by lateral motion.. so as the car whips around and the main pump looses pressure.. the surge tank has extra fuel to compensate.. this eliminates fuel slosh problems ;-)

A nice rolling work cart to put tools on and parts for the project your working on works great . The shop i worked at last the lift was out back under a car port and i could roll the cart over to what ever the end of the car i was working on with the tools and parts within hands reach . It was a step saver !
I was impressed with the last lift you had. Now you have more, wow. They are strong and look to be real safe. It looked to be well made and practical. I like the fact that they are moveable. Derek You need a battery sponsor LOL. That is a cooooolll workshop. Something you could make if you have time is a portable work bench. 2 fixed castors, 2 lockable 6 ft long by 4 ft wide. Great for doing head jobs tempery parts storage etc. Just like a large tool chest. And a telescopic transmission jack, with a tiltable head.
Love this channel and content. Nice to see u include the family on ur adventures and that you still stick to the material you started with no matter how big u grow! Stay true to your roots. I’ve stopped watching a few other big car channels cause when they started getting big they become almost commercialized. So I really appreciated your channel. You stay rooted!

In dirt track cars we fill the fuel tank with a fairly coarse foam. Prevents starvation. Can't remember the exact type but in 10 years my foam has never detiorated at all.

you need the foam insert for inside the fuel tank we use them on circle tracks to stop fuel slosh

You should also add a tire machine and wheel balancer to the shop.
Never know when you need it and it will be handy on those days when you really need it.

I had a great conversation with Brad today. I’m building a shop and when it’s done I’m going to order a wildfire lift. They seem like really good guys. I can’t wait to start wrenching on cars.

Sweet shop! I've been from Antarctica to Svalbard, Cambodia to Easter Island. But I've never been to Tennessee. Finally going to Reliance, TN just before Thanksgiving to visit friends, from Minnesota, there. Hopefully the weather will be nice so I can bring a motorcycle for the suitably twisty roads in that area. They have a C8 and a Slingshot if the weather is crappy. Tennessee seems to be filling up with tax dodgers from Minnesota. I say here from my chair in NH.

I have no idea if or when in life I'll ever get to have a shop or even a garage again, but you can bet that if I ever get the need I'll be rocking a lift from Wildfire. Those things clearly have such fantastic and well considered design. Until then I'll just keep watching Derek do awesome shit with cars.

Derek, Have you considered syntactic foam pieces for inside of America fuel tank? It will take care of fuel slosh. another alternative is a new tank custom built by Florida Marine Tank, with baffles.

Set your fuel pump in the middle of the tank and that will help with that
Since this shop has a sink & running water, maybe you can eventually add a toilet with a stall to the shop in the future.

I love following a channel grow from the beginning and watching them get to the point where money starts to fall out of their ass and companies give them thousands of dollars worth of products.
