The perfect family outing! Visit this farm and interact with mini horses, dairy cows, a donkey, tortoise, goats, sheep, llamas, rabbits, geese, turkeys, ducks, chickens and learn all about farm life. You can buy feed buckets so you can feed the animals too. EVERYONE must have on CLOSED TOE SHOES! There are picnic tables if you would like to pack lunch or snacks.
The farm tours last 90 minutes and you must CALL IN ADVANCE to schedule your visit [phone]). It’s a beautiful drive to the country and the historic farmhouse was built in 1787; the wonderful red barn was built in the 1800s. The farm served as a hospital for the wounded during the Civil War.
The farm is also available for children’s birthday parties. AND, this summer they will hold week-long day camps to give kids an opportunity to learn all about the animals, or to learn all about growing food, composting, and healthy food choices.
