It's ridiculous that prices of fragrances keep going up and the performance down. There's absolutely no excuse. Skin scent fragrances, no matter how good they smell, are completely useless to me. I don't expect "beast-mode" but being to smell myself without having to put my nose to my skin is completely reasonable.
My friend, I am 100% with you on this. It's horrible what happens, even de Mainstreams from Armani like 125ml Acqua di Gio are now 150€ retail. Unbelievable :)
I agree that it is a very light scent with not a lot of projection, but I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance! I went into the boutique store in Las Vegas with the intent on picking up my first L’Art & La Matiere fragrance and this was the one I selected out of the collection. And to my surprise, my wife loves. I appreciate the soft and clean nature of the scent. Additionally, on my skin it actually lasts a long time. 😊👍🏽
@@razvanyke Of the L'Art & Matiere collection I own/like the Musc Outreblanc, Embruns D'Ylang, and I just ordered the Rose Barbare. And from the L'Homme Ideal I own/like the EDP and the Extreme. I do feel that the L'Homme Ideal line smells and feels very designer and great for everyday use, but I do fancy the L'Art & Matiere collection a little more. The quality is noticeably higher! I do hesitate when I decide to buy a new fragrance in the collection because the price is pretty high... but then I give in to my obsession!
I have to say i liked this fragrance alot but couldn‘t justify to buy it since i‘ve got better fresh Fragrances. Performance ist really difficult for it’s price. Sillage is like non existent but longevity was actually impressive on my skin. Great Fragrance for people who easily get headaches but for me it’s just to weak. In comparison the tonka sarrapia is too strong, that one gives me hefty headaches.
Hello my friend, thank you for the comprehensive feedback. I am with you 100% on this, smells nice but it's so weak. French parfumerie is so, but after all we pay to have a nice silage and performance too.
Razvan, another great fragrance review. I have not tried Musc Outreblanc but I did try Tobacco Honey by Guerlain the other day and I love it. I was shocked that a store, where I live, has increased their Guerlain offerings to the L'Art & La Matière line. I still have to go to NYC to try the L'Art & La Matière Les Extraits.
Very good video, Raz! I have to correct you on the "latest release" statement though. Musc Outreblanc has been out for almost 2 years now and Guerlain has released about 60 new fragrances since then (which is crazy). Delphine Jelk now creates 90% of all Guerlain fragrances and Thierry Wasser only creates some from time to time (and then usually with her). I find Musc Outreblanc very beautiful. Try layering it with Neroli Outrenoir. I really like the result and then the intensity is also better.
I am crazy about this fragrance. It’s a milky musk that warms up on the skin in warm weather and projects. Guerlain is expensive but untouchable in quality and craftsmanship. Those who buy their top tier cosmetics and fragrances are not concerned about the price. The brand heritage sells itself…not meant to be a bargain or accessible to everyone.
Thank you for the awesome feedback 🙏 Guerlain is something else. Most of my scents are from them, and they tend to get better with age. The price is relative up to a point :)
@@razvanyke I finally got my Neroli Plein Sud in the mail and am in love. In the same line I also have Neroi Outrenoir, Angelique Noir, Cherry Oud, Herbes Troublantes, and Feve gourmand.

Hello my friend, I am glad to hear it performs well on other skins. What other scents do you like from Guerlain?

Hey my friend, thanks for the comment and feedback. When the video was recorded, it was the latest 🙈. I love Neroli Outrenoir. Take care!
