About me - I'm Claire and I'm in my early 40s, I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / incence. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am extremely averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that at have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery in indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays, Zoologist and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.

I understand what you mean at the end of the video. The idea behind this creation was to represent an ultrabright white fragrance. But the colour I have in my head when I smell it is more like a very light greyish beige. The end result is more a classy unoffensive musky fragrance.
For my personal taste, I would have enjoyed some aldehydes on top, maybe a hint of pear and more iris with some clean musks behind.
Something less plain, with more character and relief to it.
I will try it again this Spring but if I don't enjoy it more, I may look for a swap with 1957 by Chanel 😆

Wonderful review, Claire! I won't lie, the neroli scares me a bit (I think I'm turning into Jon Snow) but the rest sounds really lovely.
I have L'heure Blanche and heard it has similar notes to Musc Outreblanc. Unfortunately Musc Outreblanc's US launch has been delayed to March and can't wait to try them since I really like L'heure Blanche. If you decide to let go of the remaining, Id love to buy it!
Great review mate, you did really being it to life. Obviously was scared by the first bit. It kinda sounds like one I'd probably not love. But that being said there are elements we both love in fragrances. I think Karine might fall for it a bit more too
It's a like for me, not a love. Waiting for Spring to try it more. Then if it doesn't work, well that's life, it would go to a loving family 😁

Claire, you like powdery scents too right? If so and you would love a bold powdery musk, you absolutely need to smell Muskane by Nishane. It projects really strongly too

Although I love Guerlain and am tempted by this new collection BUT their prices are just a bit crazy. And I don't like when brands put the name of the note in the name and then this note is not a star in the fragrance...
Same here. It's a wonderful scent but so expensive.

I’m worried this is not going to be what I’m expecting now. I was thinking it would be soft, powdery, feminine and light floral
So maybe you can check 1957 by Chanel? I thought it will be perfect
