I think Milky should be getting honoured for the work he does for the TT and the Island. His enthusiasm is infectious and the work he does with the newcomers to the TT is so valuable.

Dead right. Seen Milky at a few TTs and he just doesn't stop working. Certainly no prima donna either as he will do what it takes to make a great TT for riders and fans.
2019 came out of quids in, pissing down so jumped on the bus. The bus driver, the one an only Milky, what a wonderful lovely man, so chatty, friendly an passionate.

I keep rewatching the lap milky commentated on, in that series they did during lockdown. That was milky at his excited best. I'm sure I'll be watching this a few times as well. Thank you. Still can't believe we have to wait another year for live action. Early summer 2022 will have perfect weather it will not rain the whole time🤞👍😆

That's good work Milky, great video and very informative.
Your circuit knowledge is astonishing, as it should be being a Manxman. One thing that amazes me are these overseas racers that take part. Take Bruce Anstey for example. He comes all the way from New Zealand once a year, yet seemingly knows the course like the back of his hand. For as long as I live I just do not, and will not know how they do it.
There is no TH-cam video or video game that substitutes being out there for real.
As for you and the reason you quit, you obviously value your life more than racing. I hate to mention it, but that last crash you had must have been a real wake up call.
Anyway, keep up the good work buddy. Helping novice racers live their dream.

What a lesson from Milky this guy is so into this lap.What a rush it must be to be able to ride like these guys,I never get tired of watching thes videos.Simply amazing what these riders are able to endure. You cant call yourself a motorcycle racer if you dont compete at least once in the Isle of man race.I salute anyone who has the balls and courage to race here. May God be with all of you.

If you take you’re CBR 600 out on a Sunday, and blitzed your mates….got a big hey yeh off them in the pub that night, , you’re not a TT racer …… this video just shows the speed that brain needs to calculate what you are seeing , I live here, and I’ve done over 2million Kilometres in HGVs on the islands roads , and know them like the back of my hand, but at the speeds these guys ride, it’s @ different bloody world …… Milky could tell you too the inch where every manhole and kerb or tree is…..he’s an addict where the TT is concerned……and many newcomers are glad that he is 👍🇮🇲

Great video. Milky puts the Rencoe (?) section the same way McGuinness does, " the bike has to be upright for the 2nd jump, if not it'll take off and then tie itself into knots".

Milky is magnificent. “Just putting on a lap”. Well, sort of. True Manxman finds his vocation in life. He’s an ex-racer. He was pretty good, but never going to be the top of the podium. I think he was injured quite badly. Now, he’s legendary, giving a riders eye view of what it takes to pilot safely & rapidly around a 37 mile road circuit. This is his commercial job. People pay him to teach them. I think all novice riders are required to do a lap behind Milky (is that right?). Any familiarisation reduces the risk of a fatal.
He won a tt race so he wasn't just pretty good. I'm pretty sure he could have won more had it not been for his crash and choosing the family life. As you say an amazing bloke and a credit to the tt and valuable asset for the newcomers in particular.

Well, Mr Martin is wrenching (or was) on trucks for a living as well as thrashing about on his off road bicycle - he must be bloody strong.
This guy goes on about, the Dunlop family and saying Michael is the only survivor from racing motorcycles. William, Joey and Robert. None of them lost there life’s at the TT.

Bob, I would say good for Learning The Names Of Corners ETC But for Riding The Course ???? Anyway, Is The Gamer Good??

@@davexjs5889 I find the game visually easily recognisable to the real life corners. I would recommend having dynamic weather so you don't just get used to specific shadow position etc for markers. The game play is good in a sense that it punishes you for going too fast on bumby parts etc but annoying in that it's very hard to predict and counter for given how much you can see or gauge form the game. It can seemingly chick you off juts for the hell of it sometimes even when being considerate of conditions. Best to play with full assists to start with while learning the course. The anti wheelie on full gets annoying quick over cutting the throttle but on lower settings may find it wheelies in unexpected rev ranges and conditions. In all it can be tough to master but rewarding when you get it right. Just try not to sweat crashes and start over pushing straight after or there will be many more crashes haha. I can do the circuit without any line or corner markers etc now but unfortunately never have or never likely will get to try the real circuit so I can't speak to how it helps in real life. Although I believe there is one or 2 racers that have used the game.

Milky , we feel so low with no action happening , can’t we have updated reports of riders meanwhile whilst TT isn’t happening . So the odd rider getting in with the odd races and how they compete against other TT riders . like the northwest everyone watches it to see who’s gonna be on form for the TT . Also do some development packages , new braking callipers, engine or exhaust mods we might see on the next TT . Prospective new riders we might see in the future
dont know how you can process that information so quickly.........at beginning going from 0 to 175 mph is really tough to do......its not like you just came in from heat race or practice lap.......brain hasnt had to go more than 30 mph for a whole day than BAM 175mph left, right left......totally insane.....think i have more respect for IOMTT racers than any other sport on planet.......consequences being so high as well.......Hickman is a beast
