  • The 2025 #toyota #crownsignia is a new crossover that's related to the #crown sedan. It replaces the Venza, but grows in all dimensions. Power comes from a Toyota Hybrid system producing 240 hp, and yielding 38 mpg combined. Should you buy one over a more expensive Lexus?

Wish it had more of a squarish hatch area and was available in more colors. Otherwise, this is a homerun for me.

It's a Lexus for Lexus money. Let's not kid ourselves. I didn't even think it's really lifted though. It's a straight up wagon. I think the black cladding around the wheel well makes it appear to be lifted. Let's see how it looks in black. Bet it'll just look like a regular wagon then

Ever since I bought a Lexus, my friends have been treating me like a damn bank. And have experience more brake checking and small unprovoked road rage incidents. I’ll definitely go back to Toyota since the image is that only struggling people own them. I’m definitely looking to go back to Toyota 😅

This is the one bro. Not pretentious. Luxury, space, reliability, efficiency. Can't beat that.

While not currently in the market for a new vehicle, but would like to check it out. I have driven Toyota’s and Honda’s since 1987.

Speaking from someone never left the states. The cars come to the states are garbage, cheap and bottom feeder models.
When you visit Japan, Singapore and HK you see real luxury.
Toyota Vellfire, Alphard, Granvia, Crown(jp) and the Century.
Even the Germans are much more liuxuries in other country where people have money and not the US where everything is credit and banks own everything.

Don't care much for the panoramic piece of glass, if it opened to let air in, would be a different story, would much rather have the 11 speakers' option in the XLE than the glass roof. go figure Toyota.

This costs the same as entry RX price, soooooo not cheap. 240 hp? rubber band transmission eCVT. 180 lb ft of torque? As long as you don't care about power it's the perfect fridge on wheels.

This is so perfect for so me. Different strokes for different folks. For me efficiency>power and the trunk space for me is better than a sedan.

@kevinn1158 well, you said it yourself: entry level RX. for the same money you can get a fully loaded crown here, or get a barebones RX; to each their own about which is the wiser choice. tangible features or barebones luxury nameplate?
as for power & torque, realistically, these numbers are sufficient for many. besides, this offers great fuel economy. so you trade power/torque for fuel economy, not a bad trade imo.
lastly, toyota ecvts have no rubber bands or chains, and instead use a planetary gear set. toyota hybrid transmissions have proven to be very reliable and efficient.

@@mn3ql Pragmatism defined. It’s an appliance on wheels. Most people will love this vehicle. That's why people love Subarus. No excitement, all practical. But it ain't cheap.

Beyond dull design, both interior and exterior.

in what way is the front design dull? The rear is pretty typical but the front is very unique with the grille integrated into the bumper and unique headlight design.
