Baby spitting cobra removed from drainage pipe.

Francois and Kosie received a call from a lady who spotted a small snake in her backyard. She immediately called the SON team to come and remove the snake while she was keeping a watchful eye on the snake as it was moving. The snake moved to hide behind a dustbin, but still did not feel safe, so it slithered into the drainage pipe.
Keeping an eye on the snake (from a safe) is an important thing to do, because then the person will know where the snake is and can just show the snake catcher, in turn make it easier and quicker for then to catch it. The SON team has other normal jobs and can not afford to spend hours searching for a snake.

Ah lekker. Interesting. Maybe one could fix an LED with battery to the end of that tongs? Then with these narrow dark retrievals one doesn't need to fiddle with a torch as well. Could be an idea.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I need to play around a bit to see what works! Would be keen to hear if you have any ideas
