I thought it was , I’m a Prima Donna , as well. I think I became familiar with them from the singles album they released of their early music . Then they obviously blew up with Labor of Love . I really enjoy their 1984 follow up album Geffery Morgan and Rat in the Kitchen is a decent lp too.
One of their best, and this version is at least as good as the one on the album. I agree with Jon about their disappearance down their toilet after two albums. There's a bathroom on the right; I feel Sue Lawley. The word you're looking for is mondegreen,, from an old Scottish ballad: They have slain the Earl of Moray, and Lady Mondegreen. I've never misheard this lyric, and my image is of a carved religious figurine or statuette. I agree with Jon that _Arc of a Diver_ is a grossly underrated album.
Their first two albums were as important to me as anything released on Two Tone and the first Dexys album. Such a shame they went down the covers route.
Never heard this one! I love the most obvious choices but a few years ago I heard "One in Ten". Excellent song!
Great track, I do like some of their stuff.
I was one of those that thought it was I'm a Prima Donna for many years.

Early UB40 is quite brilliant, but after that i dont know what happened, as they started recording total shite.
Im also in the 'Im a Prima Donna camp'

Never liked UB40, just something about Ali's voice, but this is the only song I can stomach by theirs... so not being totally negative towards them.
I couldn’t agree more.
