OFC Major classchanges fixes, check x example, they add a lot of new Fist weapons, who are great, but man, arms warriors or survivalist hunters could use some enhance n the talents in order to make some juice with fist weapons, also more custom quest, n regular areas.m sadly they already say there no 3.3.5a server change happening
I would love to see a custom non battleground pvp area like wintergraps or tol barad. I loved those events that would happen every 3 hours with daily's to do in-between
Client is a big issue, the current TW client version is too ancient and really cripples the gameplay. I didn't liked the overall end game experience, first I tried to get pre raid gear but I rarely found people running those dungeons, then I tried PVP but they still use the old vanilla system and honestly I don't want to waste all that time for a set that is outclassed by PVE raid gear. In the end I have just quit the server, the leveling experience was good but a new player doesn't have much to do after reaching 60.
I'm blown away how people think they might do Outland or Northrend. They wouldn't. It's the two continents and they want to focus on those. That's why we're playing on here. 2.0 will simply be vanilla on the wotlk client.
I'd rather see them do smaller max level zones for those places. Instead of Outlands, just give us a version of Hellfire Pennisnsula (isn't the beta one still in the vanilla files, that they could make a small zone out of?). Same with Nothrend, in WC3, it's really just the frozen shore and the glacier. Kul Tiras and Zandalar can all get added in as small single town islands like KEzan, like how the lore had described them for decades.
The buggy UI on private servers is what bothers me most. Theres work arounds but after the Gilneas update i didn't want to go through the bother of installing TWoW again
Comparing vanilla as it should've been with later expansions isn't really a fruitful endeavour. Some ideas and mechanics (if technically possible for the old engine game) might work quite well, alas, the entire PvP zone for pve realm won't work since it's been done before several times. I think some new secrets and quest lines will surely take place, however, I wouldn't like to see them "upgrade" to another expansion engine.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I want TWoW to have a real RDF system, or at least make the summoning stones work. I avoid a lot of dungeons just for the simple fact I don't want to go through the trouble of getting there.
The trouble getting there is annoying but makes the overall experience more memorable. You rarely will remember a rdf queue compared to how many you'll think about when you travel there and look back at it fondly. Its worse in the short term but long term makes it a lot more enjoyable.
@@misty6348 Well summoning stones would be the best way then. So the few people like yourself that enjoy traveling still can. The rest of us can wait for the summon. 😂
While yes that is true, that is not the primary reason why RFD is a terrible system. the main reason is what I like to call the "retail" mentality where there is 0 reason for any member of the group to stay when they can just go find another group and be right back in the dungeon without consequence. By forcing a player to wait a long time for a group. prep. walk there, ect without the QoL of instant teleport for anything, that incentivizes the group to not only come prepared int he first place, but also to not leave because of 1 mistake or "taking to long, gonna find better group" mentality. Yes it still happens but far much less then if RFD was added.. Every private server that has added the full system in has had the "retail mentality" While those who have no RFD or the half one like turtle does, players are far more likely to stay in thier groups and push through if they run a bit slower or they die once or twice.
@@MalonzeProductionsGaming Well the intentions of what you think is commendable, and I can respect that. Ask yourself this, have you ever turned down a warlock summons? No one ever says na, I'm just going to walk. So I think activating the stones would be a good middle ground.
Stones and summons are not as big of an issue because it still requires player interaction. As well as going to the start of the dungeon with the group to summon that straggler. While issues can come of it, its still not near the level of "retail mentality" that the instant teleport of RFD has. im personally half and half with the stone system by itself. on one hand you have the benefit of helping out players who happen to be in the furthest possible spot from the dungeon to get there quicker. but on the other hand it means you have the lazy mf'ers who let the other players do the walk for them, even if they were in manageable distance from the portal.
honestly, i played both vanilla back in 2004 and classic and twow and had reached 60 with end game gear in most(stopped at turtlewow endgame) and Twows XP progression is VERY quick!
After watching the trailers, I really don’t see what’s special about Epoch. Looks pretty rough around the edges, and what we do see is pretty over the top. I might give it a shot, but I love Turtle
@@illeagle666"rough around the edges"? what does that even mean? how can you tell that from a trailer? theres been multiple open betas.. have you even played it?
@illeagle666 Epoch has some great features that it will have at launch, however I would say the one thing that turtle wow has above it, is time. Turtle has been around for years. built up from launch and built its playerbase higher then even nost i think. only beaten by maybe ascension. Epoch will start off against a tsunami of a server and will have to prove itself with not only the launch but the longevity if it is to grow and possibly surpass turtle. The best WOW server I ever see.
Me too
I'm interested in seeing what they end up doing. I am enjoying the project a lot.
3.3.5 would be amazing, performance, stability and the ease of modding would be really appreciated
@01:02 I clicked subscribe and like..then I heard u say "Phasing".....
I think TWoW 2.0 will include Outland, but in thier vision. Which also means Draenei but from W3 look. How they will made female models, idk.
AAW has female broken modles
@@MalonzeProductionsGaming I know, but Turtle will make it? Who knows. Also i wouldn't mind some AoE for rogues.
They should do Northrend before Outland.
@@javierr5481 yesss.
Or they can just give male draenei and male ogres.
