Spriest's 3 main vanilla spells still won't scale if they're still in their patch 1.12 balance state, the number I've seen online is that SW:P/MF/MB scale with spell power about 40% as effectively as a Mage's Fireball does, and 2 of those spells can never crit, and the one that can crit has a relatively long cooldown compared to fireball/frostbolt/shadowbolt/starfire/wrath/lightning bolt, and lacks a 100% crit bonus damage talent. That means spriest will scale well under half as much as mages with spell power and crit, and their crits will always hit for 66% of the damage of every other caster's crits on only 1 measly spell that has a long CD, plus spriests have no crit in their talents and hover at around 7% crit at 60, maybe if you're lucky you'll get to 10% but that would really be a waste of crit gear. Also they oom in less than half a minute at 60 and there are no mana changes yet, just new expensive spells to oom you faster. Spriest looking rough atm.
They should have changed shadow word death from the boring execute with CD to an ability that scales with the number of dots the priest has on target and then doubles damage and crit chance in the execute range. No CD but the backlash debuff stacks up 5% HP, 10% HP, 20% HP if used with the debuff on the priest. So you’d have to manage not killing yourself.
fireball is a 3.5 second cast, spells of 3 seconds or higher typically have 100% scaling, shadowpriest is a special case because they dont have other dps spells than the 3 original + the new ones.

for lvl 25, you are prob right. if you consider lvl 60, where hunter was a poor DPS class while warrior was everything, the nerf looks VERY questionable. because hunter would need those kinds of multipliers to keep up. instead warrior gets yet another hard scaling ability to get even further ahead. also lone wolf seems dead now, as you now basicly put your pet DPS on the hunter. it is a lvl 60 raid only rune now, where the pet stops scaling and starts to die to random AOE stuff. but it is on a lvl 25 runeslot and uses a slot, that could have been a more interesting rune for low level hunters instead

Played since Beta 2004. Never had a Plate Class until now. Suggestions? Tank/DPS. :)
Does that mean the druid wf buff will also work on shamans flametongue and rockbiter weapon enchants?
or will it also stack with windfury? :D
@@krzysztof1370hopefully not
the tooltip for mutilate does not say it requires daggers. was this tested?
It was tested, and it requires daggers
I will 100% stop tanking if I have to wear a shield. The best thing to come out of classic is the fury prot, and I'm sure 90% tanks agree. Fuck shields, boring as shit. Furthermore, if aggro is just a non factor in sod like it was for many expansions of retail, im also not interested. Tanking is the epitomy of boredom if damage (and dw) and threat aren't a big factor. If I'm legit just doing classic level mechanics and clicking cds I might as well do something else
Ty for this kind sir.
Will wild strikes and windfury attack? And will the aspect of the lion and kings stack?
I’m pretty sure wild strikes and wind fury were shown in a tooltip not to stack
@squidlump if that is true I hope the hunter buff did not stack with kings or it all into alli
@@azumaakazuma9305 I’d be surprised if it did.
@@azumaakazuma9305hunter get 20% kings
They do not stack
Ok they add windfury in alliance and BoK in Horde, but what about the races's skills ? They nerfed Will of the Forsaken ? they add it in alliance ? or everyone will go in the horde for it
I mean...dies that mean every race has to lose weapon specializations to keep it even then? lol
Played wow when I was a kid, this looks fun enough to bring me back :)
Yeah man it’s great only 15 a month too not awful
This has me convinced. Im going shammy tank!
Very hard to say!! so far all the classes are very interesting!! For my part, I will try Tank druid - maybe - mele hunter =) or mage healer =)
Every class got some rly nice runes and overall this looks so interesting pretty hyped for sod tbh 🎉
duel talent specs, for easy swaps. group finder for dung
Where do you see these patch notes? Can someone link me? Thank you
On wowhead
Will tank warlock work like sl/sl did in tbc?
Good JOB Man thank you: )
Ret Paladins should also be able to Twist the new Seal like in TBC. Not confirmed, of course. But I dearly hope so!
Hold up, read the mutilate description. It does require daggers or mention them. Mut sword spec?
as it stands, if would work. but considering multilate works with stuff that enhances backstabs, they will prob fix it to work with only daggers like it used to
@calronkeltaran493 most likely an oversight on blizzards part, but I'm thinking mut instead of SS as a sword spec'd human. Might be a great go-to if not a potentially op one.
Mut is norm 60 energy, both weps (application of poisons/enchants and sword procs apply I believe) vs SS which is slightly lower energy 1 wep.
If Hogger isn't a 25 man raid i'll be EXTREMELY dissapointed.
people cried like btch so blizzard nerf hunter even with buffs hunter wasn't able to beat mage and warriors in dps race
we cant have the only class, that only can do DPS, be actually good at dps
@@calronkeltaran493 Arent their pets getting the tank runes?
@@1776huckleberry pets can gain a taunt and increased strats, yes. but we still don't know, if they get proper scaling in lategame, can't get crit immunity like the other new tanks and they still don't have any form of AOE. so it is almost impossible, to keep agro on more than 1-2 mobs
Tauren Druid. As always.
hate that i cant play paladin on horde tbh. my friends want to go horde for shaman
Kinda want prot pally with taunt and think be cool have crusader strike and devin storm
Great, now I wanna play every coass
Think im gonna play warrior. Its the one class ive never really played
Wait so lone wolf already got nerfed?
BM Hunter > Warlock Tank > Not sure of what healer imma go with yet
Nerf to lone wolf and sniper training was needed. Damage multipliers would be nuts. Even as a main hunter. Hope other classss get tuned down a bit on the damage side
so warrior's %20 bonus damage ... but only we get hard nerfed and paladin still with those buffs mage's and warriors still going to beat us in dps race
But a warrior having a flat 20% dmg increase is totally fine and good for the game 😂😂😂😂
for lvl 25, you are prob right.
if you consider lvl 60, where hunter was a poor DPS class while warrior was everything, the nerf looks VERY questionable. because hunter would need those kinds of multipliers to keep up. instead warrior gets yet another hard scaling ability to get even further ahead.
also lone wolf seems dead now, as you now basicly put your pet DPS on the hunter. it is a lvl 60 raid only rune now, where the pet stops scaling and starts to die to random AOE stuff. but it is on a lvl 25 runeslot and uses a slot, that could have been a more interesting rune for low level hunters instead
best for pvp ?
Tauren Pallas/ dwarf shammys would make me happy. Thoughts?
any new class race combos confirmed?
really cool that u took gameplay footage from popular channels of the classes. Dannygaming for priest or esfand for ret. Cool u share the hype :D
I can't i can't decide man. Spriest, ele, enha, tank shaman or trying something new, a pala. either spec man..
Huh, wonder how elemental will perform once we get to molten core, because unless they change the mobs' resistance to fire damage lava burst is going to feel a bit awkward.
just use the other rune. looks better imo
is dual spec in this? or a cheaper talent reset?
cheaper respec i believe
I hope Rogue can be range dps with throwing dagger spec in the future, no one class use dagger throwing as main weapon 😁
I want to play a 2hander melee. Not interested in ret so I’m thinking Arms or the new melee Hunter.
I think arms will be a lot more fun at the 40 bracket once you unlock MS/whirlwind/intercept. Melee hunter seems like it’ll be super fun to PvP with at 25 with your ability to still throw out arcane and multi shots, I’m heavily considering taking entrapment/improved wing clip over going into the BM tree for pet damage.
Runes?? What are these runes you keep mentioning???
I am really hyped up for the game. But Rogue Tanks and Mage Healers still feel wrong to me xD
