I never realized how much of a war this arc was. This was the biggest arc in One Piece so far, both in length, plot reveals, and stakes. It was literally a civil war happening on an island with some of the most powerful pirates, Warlords, Admirals, and militiamen.
This arc was awesome.
If you go back and binge watch this arc like iv recently done its so amazing

shades dressrossa is easily one of the best arcs to come out of any anime, you're just being contrarian. It may have a lot of episodes but the pacing was perfect, a large chunk of doflamingo screen time was in almost every episode which made it one of the more interesting arcs to watch.

Dressrossa is truly an amazing arc, it's just the pacing in the anime is just terrible. If they adapted 2 chapters an episode and cut out the filler the fandom would rank this arc a lot higher.

Dressrosa is the arc that most deserves the remake and - if we ever get to it - the live action adaptation. The content is amazing but the potential is even more so because the execution was so poor - even from the manga to an extent. This arc deserves a fully unhinged, well-written, MA rated adaptation that doesn't hold back and isn't afraid to show how brutal everything is, plus showcases some of the important characters who were unfortunately sidelined in favour of other, completely unimportant/boring characters.

Yes it was too long, and the animation in the anime was horrible. That is why I dropped the anime at Dressrosa and only read the manga ( until Wano, were the animation was becoming great )
I read the manga every week and this arc still one of the best in the new world.

"Too long" for me is dragging out events with characters I don't know, and wasting the time that could be used to flesh them out by instead repeating the same flashbacks ad nauseum, otherwise known as "Marineford". That's where I personally dropped the series a few years back. Now that I'm back into it I had much, much more fun with Dressrosa, despite it being more than thrice as long. Dressrosa had significantly less wasted time with the vast majority of characters having their own story and/or purpose, even if that was just lending an extra hand (or leg) to the fights at the end. I can overlook sub-par animation if the story is there, and this arc had _a lot_ of story to it.
@@dragonoverlord2010 I guess it's more enjoyable when you can watch in one go. But when I had to wait every week to see an episode with bad animation and a story that seems to never end, I was like "nope, I'll keep it to the manga only" lol

Best Dressrosa amv EVER! Every Dressrosa amv shows Luffy vs Doflamingo, Luffy vs Doflamingo and Luffy vs Doflamingo. Maybe little bit of Zoro vs Pica...
But this is just perfect! It has Dressrosa's past and all other character's fights. I JUST LOVED IT!

I've probably spent about 12 hours watching strictly one piece amv's on youtube. Of what I've seen I have never come across a better AMV. This was edited to perfection and must have taken forever to make. If you ever are applying for a job in an industry in which editing is needed: send this in with you resume. I all but guarantee you'd get the job. You are the type of person who ends up making history. Have a great day, a great life and keep on being best.

Editing has A LOT of requirements to it, and just to be able to edit like this for most comes down to a lot of money on equipment, a PC needs to be able to handle it so you can get down to every little thing. Some AMVs you see with mass amounts of editing are actually done by several people. This one looks solo, but there are some out there with like 4 or more people who did it. And sometimes editing like this isn't need to make it Epic, like the Boom Lay AMV for One Piece tells a story, which makes it awesome.

This is how you make a good amv. You tell the story that is meant to be told. It builds, and it hits this enormous climax that gets ones heart beating so fast. Absolutely blew me away. Great song choice and everything! 10/10
