This is personally one of my favorite of the Pierce Brosnan era Bond even if it did receive a rather lukewarm response and caused of 4 year slump in the saga.
It did incredibly well in fact when it came out. It's also a fun movie with great pacing. They just took the ideas bit far regarding invisible cars, electrocuter gauntlets and so on. Didn't fit the Bond tone since the post-Moore era.
When it comes to Die another day, it's not one of my favorite James Bond movies, the movie started out good, but the movie took a nosedive and then it went off the rails. The movie definitely have its issues, most notably that awful CGI, but I do like the Easter eggs and references from the previous James Bond movies as this was the 40th anniversary of the James Bond movies. This movie led to the reboot of the James Bond franchise and Daniel Craig taking over as James Bond. And now on to the Daniel Craig James Bond movies starting with one of my favorite James Bond movies Casino Royale. I'm continuing to enjoy your James Bond movie reactions and once again I'm glad y'all are doing them in order.
FUN FACT: This movie marked the 40th anniversary when the first James Bond movie, Dr. No, was released, and there are a lot of Easter eggs in this movie, and I mean A LOT.
