Too funny. You guys are too young to be watching this. 😂There are so many references that unless you’re from US you might not understand. But it was fun watching you two trying to understand what in the heck was going on. ❤

This film does a good job of filling the spaces created by some quotes from Fury road. There is a lot of gap between hearing Furiosa say "I was taken as a child,." and Her saying "Now that i drive a war rig it is the best chance i will have,". They just don't hand out war rigs to everyone in the wasteland.

This film perfectly pulled the bait and switch. Started as an explosive action film, ended as a slasher with only Dutch surviving through sheer luck. Also liked the subplot of Dillon deceiving Dutch and his team for his own ends, that instantly vanished when the Predator started stalking.

16:46 7-11 is a chain of convenient store in USA. In early 90's, they had arcade games, such as Wild Gunman (the game Marry shows to the 2015 kids in part 2)

You should also watch Lion King 1.5

The event in first Alien movie took place in planet LV-426. This movie take place on LV-223. Completely different places. It is also speculated by fan theories the giant dead alien pilot in first movie is Not the same as the Engineers of this movie. The giant alien pilot is called the Mala'kak and is probably be the creator of the Engineers. In course of time the Mala'kak went extinct and the Engineers took their technology & looks that reflect on their masters as an honor.

They did such a good job with this film. Bona fide game changer! Roger Moore's smile when he tricked Jaws with the electromagnet was gold! Moore was on top form in this one

Their colors hold some societal significance at the time; typically yellow, brown, green clothes are easy for the poor to make - these dyes are cheap and widely available. Yeah, this is a sad one. It made me cry a couple times. I love the reveal that the sweater Sam gave Eric was her father’s. Also, Sam and Frodo as in The Lord of the Rings was pretty cool.

Thanks, guys. Stanley Kubrick was a genius film maker. He used a lot of satire in this one to emphasize the ridiculous things taking place during the "cold war." Unfortunately, it also speaks to current events in geopolitics, namely eastern Europe.

I enjoy watching you gentlemen having a good time watching these movies. They are silly for sure. But they are fun to watch. I've enjoyed these movies for decades and it's nice to see younger people like you two enjoy them too! Keep going with the Pink Panther movies, they keep getting better. Also try "The Party", "Being There", and "Murder by Death." All very good movies with Peter Sellers.
