Wood frames have too much flex in them. Would you want your car made out of wood. As in the video, wood frame causes flex as compared to aluminum. So this machine requires slow feed to work.

Morgan still makes wood framed cars. Plenty of early automobiles had wood frames. It has its negatives and positives
